The Woman Ruler of the Altan Clan

The Woman Ruler of the Altan Clan
Chapter 82 Who Are You?

After getting information from Nekhii, Shanum immediately called the medical team who handled Khan. They were of course astonished, suddenly asked to take blood from a girl who incidentally was just a patient waiter.

However, of course the thought did not make them then reject Shanum's request. One of the doctors simply contacted Eej, as the parent of the patient, who ended up with the woman directly calling Shanum.

Shanum explained clearly Nekhii's remarks on how to treat Khan. And the mother of the Khan was quite surprised to hear Shanum knew Nekhii. As a result, he became clear about his meetings with Nekhii from beginning to end to the woman.

Shortly after Eej ended his call, the medical team brought an extra bed and some medical equipment into the nursery. Shanum was asked to lie down, and they began to draw his blood.

After the entire process was completed, Shanum's blood was instantly prepared to be transfused to Khan. The procedure carried out this time is of course different from the procedure in the real world. If in the real world, after the blood is taken from the donor, the blood should go through another series of tests that are quite complicated.

The blood must be sorted, examined and analyzed first by a blood bank before it is given to the hospital where the patient who needs it is located.

Right now, Shanum was paying attention to that entire set of processes with a tense face. Although he believed in Nekhii's words, there was still a bit of anxiety that arose within him. He did not want any negative effects after the transfusion.

After the medical team finished their work, they left Shanum alone in the room. He sat near Khan's bed. He watched carefully for any changes that occurred.

He wanted to find out the effect of his blood inside the man's body. And Shanum had already opened the bandage on Khan's face, to represent a small portion of his burn.

At first there had been no meaningful change, the man's burnt skin remained as it had been before. Shanum raised his head, checked against the blood bag that was hoisted on a pole, with an infusion line that now contained blood. The blood seemed to drip smoothly, not stopping at all. But why has there been no reaction to Khan?

Shanum again examined Khan's skin, this time opening the bandage on his upper body. He gasped in shock at the horrific burns in front of him. The burns on the man's upper body were more severe than the burns on his face.

Then suddenly he jerked backwards, resulting in the chair behind him upside down and sounding loudly when touching the floor. Shanum was amazed, he saw that the entire body of the man emitted a black smoke that soared upward and then vanished just like that after reaching the ceiling of the room.

Khan's flushed, blistered, flaking even swelling and charring skin slowly faded, leaving a very ugly scar. After that, there was no reaction. It seemed that Shanum's blood only removed the black magic entrenched within the man's skin.

Shanum thought, if the black magic had disappeared, he should have been able to give her healing magic. Shanum would try it, he immediately stuck his fingers on the scar-filled skin.

He hoped that his healing power could remove the scar. The golden radiance that was previously repelled, was now absorbing into the man's skin. Slowly the scar fades and gives birth to healthy, clean skin as before.

Shanum let out a sigh of relief, now the face of the man looks back handsome like the face of Khan Adrian he knew. The girl pulled out her fingers and looked back, returning the overturned seat to its original position. Then he sat there with a tired, yet incredibly happy face.

He's just waiting for the man's consciousness to recover, and hopefully the man will wake up soon from his coma. Shanum looked at Khan's face with a dikulum smile. He ran away his fingers rubbing the man's chin, cheeks, nose, eyes and forehead.

Shanum was not satisfied just doing that, he then brought his face closer to Khan's cheek and kissed him with mixed feelings. He misses that guy very much. And so wanted to hug her tightly. The girl returned to her original position with a sad face.

I hope you'll realize soon, Adri. My heart is already anxious to hear your voice calling my name. I miss...

The sound of the door making the girl turn. He saw Eej heading towards him. The woman stopped stepping when she realized her son's skin had recovered. His eyes looked teary as he stepped closer to Khan's nursery bed.

"He's recovering, Shanum. Oh, thank goodness!" Eej removed the clear liquid dripping on her cheek. The woman's face looked happy.

"Yes, the blood transfusion was successful, Eej," Shanum said with a smile.

Then they heard the door knock. The two turned their heads, but only Eej replied, "Just enter."

The door was opened, from behind it appeared Diva and Farah. The two Shanum friends smiled timidly, and were nervous when dealing with Eej.

"Good day, Mama... Shanum's. Sorry, we just got to come here. Especially new to meet you," said Farah with a shy face.

"It's okay. You must be tired, so it doesn't matter if you rest longer." Eej replied in a soft and friendly tone of voice. The faces of the two instantly turned to relief when they heard Khan's mother's friendly remark.

"How's your son doing, Mam?" Diva asked.

"He's improved. It's all thanks to Shanum." The woman smiled as she glanced towards Shanum.

"Waw, really?" the Diva looks amazed. "Don't forget you have to tell us, Sha," Farah said. Their formal attitude instantly disappeared, changing with their real attitude before Shanum.

"Yes, I'll tell you later" Shanum replied.

When there was a warm conversation between the four people, a soft voice came from the direction of Khan's bed.

The four of them immediately turned their heads and saw Khan had opened his eyes. The man was still unfocused or looked dazed. Shanum and Khan's mother moved closer to the bed. Diva and Farah remained in her original position, watching in silence.

"Thank God, you're sober, son? What are you feeling?" eej asked with a shady smile that she showed to her only son.

Khan did not reply he was still silent with a puzzled face. Shanum actually wanted to greet her, but her throat felt stuck. It is hard to speak, when the heart is feeling immeasurable euphoria.

"Water, I want water..."

The man's voice rasped asking for water. Shanum immediately swiftly picked up a glass of water on the table beside the bed. He also helped the man to get up from his lying position to half-sitting. Shanum slowly brought the glass closer to Khan's lips, and saw the man begin to sip water little by little.

Occasionally the man choked, and Shanum gently patted the man's back which jolted forward as he coughed loudly. After the water in the glass began to run out, Shanum pulled back the glass. His hands were still in a glass-holding position.

"You want another drink, Adri?" shanum asked softly. The man shook his head. But in the middle of the road he pulled Shanum's hand and said, "Who are you?"

Shanum was flabbergasted in shock, as well as the other three people. "You don't know us, son?" eej with a worried face.

The man turned his head towards his mother, with his hand still tightly grasping Shanum's hand. "I know you, Eej. You're my mother, there's no way I'll forget you" replied the man.

"But I don't know him and the two who are there." Khan let go of Shanum's hand, then pointed towards Diva and Farah. Shanum immediately put the glass back on the table, not wanting the glass to be broken, as his hand shook violently at this moment. The girl was shocked to hear Khan's words.

The man does not remember. Oh... God, what's the matter now?

"Why did you let them be here, Eej? What the hell happened to me? And why am I here like a sick person?" The questions came from Khan, to make his mother flutter.

Eej cleared his throat, then sighed sadly. Especially when looking at Shanum's shock face. "First of all I want to say, he is Shanum. She's your lover, son. You can't possibly forget it. She's..."

"He's not my girlfriend, Eej. My lover is just Sintai, and we've been broken up for a long time" Khan cut off with his cold face and feet that he used to show to strangers.

Shanum paled more and more at hearing that answer. So are Shanum's two best friends. They were shocked. Diva even smothered her mouth, while Farah shook her head with a cloudy face.

"And they.." point Khan to Diva and Farah. With a cold expression that made both of them swallow with nervousness.

"They're friends of Shanum. Their names, Diva and Farah. You should have known them, too" replied Eej.

"Do I really know them?" Khan then circulated his gaze, staring one after another at the girls who were in the room. The last time he looked at Shanum fixedly.

His eyes looked suspicious, it seemed like the man had already lost all his memories of Shanum and his two best friends. There was not the slightest trace of recognition towards them. He was like a stranger to her. And Shanum returned the man's gaze with a sad face.

"You don't remember the slightest incident in that fire, son? That makes you burn to death, too" said Eej slowly.

"I'm dying?" confused repeat.

"I don't remember. Which I remember the last time..." The man frowned, and his hand was immediately rushed to his temple. He looked to massage her, then back to her body.

"Sorry, I feel dizzy. Can it be just you, Eej, who's here." Khan closed his eyes again. The man still seemed to feel pain. He kicked Shanum and his two best friends out of the room. And the hardest hit by Khan's speech was definitely Shanum. The girl's mind screamed in pain.

Of all the events that had happened to the man at this moment, this was all that made Shanum collapse. Unknown to the person you love is the most painful thing, the pain may be the same as the person whose love just claps one hand.

Once outside, Eej rubbed Shanum's cheeks that had been soaked by tears. He looked at Shanum with sad eyes. "I'm sorry my son, Shanum. Perhaps the effect of the influence of black magic had not disappeared completely. I'm sure he'll be able to remember you again when he recovers."

Shanum nodded his head. He could not answer with words. Shanum tried to hold back the tightness in his chest. The girl had been trying to hold him back since. So that he would not have to show his frail face in front of everyone, and provoke their pity. But Shanum was no longer powerful, unconsciously the tears finally fell dripping on both cheeks.

"We'd better go back upstairs, Sha," Farah suggested. "Yes, right! You guys go to the penthouse. Now I have to tell the medical team to check on my son. Later I will tell you the development, yes, Shanum," continued Khan's mother with a shady smile, trying to calm the girl.

Shanum nodded again, then he was guided by Diva and Farah stepped out of the waiting room. Leaving Eej aside, gazed towards Shanum's back with a cloudy face.

The woman was still in doubt if her son could just as easily forget his own soulmate. The bond should be strong, not easily broken. He smelled something was wrong here. And he must succeed in finding Nekhii first. Only that woman can help him figure out the wrong thing that has happened to Khan.

Meanwhile, in the penthouse, the three girls seemed to be sitting quietly on the living room sofa. Shanum had already told his two best friends about the incident since he arrived at this place.

They look sad for the state of loss of memory Khan. Farah even looked annoyed. He briefly berates the man, who then gets a shot reaction from Diva. But Farah didn't care, her face still looked ugly.

"So, what are you gonna do now, Sha?" ask Diva.

"I'll wait. Until you know what's really going on" he replied.

"We'll keep you by your side at your request, Sha." Diva tried to give her support.

"Why don't you just leave that Ice Beam guy?" say Farah with ketus.

"Geez, Farah!" diva Hardik.

"Now try to use your logic. Why think of a man who doesn't remember you?"

"If it could be that easy I let go, Farah. I will definitely do it without thinking anymore. But unfortunately I can't, there is a bond that binds us here" Shanum said with a sad face.

Farah exhaled her breath. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to make you more tormented. If indeed that Ice Beam guy can't remember you anymore, I'm willing to help you find another bustle. We can take a vacation before we are busy looking for work. Mumpung is here," continued Farah while smiling smirk.

The diva immediately rolled her eyeballs. "That's what you want, vacationing for free. If I'm gonna try to find information about Igei."

"You haven't been able to reach her yet, Diva?" ask Shanum. Diva shook her head with a grim face. It turns out that Diva also experienced the same turmoil as him.

"Hmm, yes, too. Then I will launch an action approach also to Jullian deh," continued Farah suddenly.

"Huh, I hope he doesn't run around by you" Diva spontaneously replied to Farah's words.

"Hey, don't cuss so dong. You should have said well, so that my pursuit would run smoothly," Farah protested with a pouting face.

"It's everywhere that's chasing men, Farah. Not a woman, haduuh!" diva said while pretending to pat her head.

Shanum who was sad again immediately smiled at the behavior of his two friends. They are both very funny when they argue.

"It's Farah-Diva. Go ahead and chase each of your dream partners. Don't argue about how. As long as you can, do it, lest you regret it later," Shanum cut with a bitter smile.

The two fell silent, they turned towards Shanum with all wrong faces. But suddenly Farah's face looked bright and excited. He stared at Shanum while grinning.

"Ah, look at it, Sha. If that Ice Stone forgets you, just remind him. Go after the man again. No need to be confused. You already know his favorite, and the topic of conversation he likes. Make him bend his knees again to you. If you need to beat his head so that his shortened brain is back to normal," said Farah.

"You're really silly, Farah, at the beginning of the day, it was a good action that you proposed. But why when at the end of the sentence that appears even extreme sentences. It will ruin all the good suggestions that you made earlier," Diva said with a sigh of anxiety.

Farah replied with a smile while sniffing her shoulders. The girl's face did not display any impression of guilt at all.

"You sure it can be done, Farah? I really feel doubtful, yes" Shanum replied in a soft tone of voice.

"Which one? About chasing Khan or about hitting his head?" asked Farah with a laugh.

Shanum. "Of course about chasing after Khan, Farah!"

"It could happen, as long as you cut off your pestilence and act face to face the wall," Farah replied with a grin.

"Oh my God, don't teach your cult to Shanum!" cut the Diva warned him.

"Who taught the cult?! I just asked him to think smart, instead of teaching him indecent acts." Farah slid her tongue towards the Diva.

Then the two heard Shanum chuckle amused himself. His eyes stared at the wall. It turned out that in the midst of their debate, Shanum was even engrossed in his own thoughts. And the two friends looked at each other in confusion to see Shanum's behavior.

"Hey, why, Sha? How to laugh yourself, you're not starting to lose your sanity, are you?" farah asked while patting the girl on the shoulder.

Shanum woke up from his daydream. He looked towards his friends. "Yes, what's wrong?" tanyanya's confused.

Farah rolled her eyeballs. "So you laughed to yourself. We were confused and wondered, did this friend of ours start to lose his sanity?" reset Farah.

"Oh, about that. Of course not! Take it easy, I'm still a hundred percent sane. Just just now, I suddenly remembered my own words the other day to Khan," Shanum replied still with a big smile.

"Tell me!" urge Diva with a curious face.

"You see, I told him that time, if there was another woman chasing him, I would fight that woman. I will not give up on taking care of my beloved. And Khan smiled broadly upon hearing that. He was so happy and supportive of my attitude."

"Seriously?! Oh, my God, it's so possessive, and strangely you two do fit in. Ice Beams are also always acting possessive towards you. But, to my confusion, funny where is it, Sha?" asked Farah while raising her eyebrows.

"It's not finished yet" Shanum protested with a fierce face. Diva also grunts while swerving wide. He gave Farah the code to keep her mouth shut.

"Okay, please continue. I'm sorry I cut, " said Farah with a cry.

"Until where it was. Oh, okay, so the funny thing is that right now I have to drive away every woman who comes close to him and make that guy love me back."

Farah and Diva fell silent. Still looking at Shanum's jokes that are not funny at all.

"doll, Sha... That's not funny, though. But tragic" said Farah frankly. Diva immediately kicked Farah's leg, and the girl complained in pain.

Shanum froze, and then laughed again. That laugh sounds sad. "Well, you're right, Farah. It's more tragic than funny. I shouldn't have laughed." Shanum looked down, he looked at his fingernails one by one.

Diva then elbowed Farah, she glared at him. Farah gave a sign of the word not understanding towards the Diva. Diva sighed, then inched closer to the girl. "You're making him even sadder, you idiot! Now try to comfort her again" whispered Diva.

"Why should I?" reply Farah while whispering as well. "Ishh, you were the one who made her sad. Let's take responsibility!" urge Diva.

"Not me, kali! What made him sad, the Ice Beam," Farah protested in a quiet voice.

The two friends were busy whispering to themselves, not realizing that Shanum had disappeared from their side and headed for the room.

Then seeing that his best friend had disappeared secretly, they quarreled again. This time fussing over who among them should comfort Shanum and chase him into the room.

Finally, after feeling tired of arguing without any end, they agreed that the one in charge of comforting Shanum was the two of them.
