The Woman Ruler of the Altan Clan

The Woman Ruler of the Altan Clan
Chapter 68 General of the Bataar Clan

Shanum froze as he approached Khan and heard the man's words. He asked to return to the villa. But when the man said he didn't want to see her there his feelings immediately throbbed in pain.

The man was angry...

The emotions that controlled Shanum instantly disappeared, all that was left behind was regret. He admitted it was too much, and he needed to apologize to the man. But as he looked at Khan's cold, stiff face, his mouth felt heavy to say.

"You sure you want to go back to the villa, Shanum?" sergei asked, suddenly appearing next to the girl. Shanum was still fixated on noticing Khan getting up aided by Abdan. Khan did not rub his gaze at the man.

"Shanon..." Sergei called again while nudging the girl's shoulder. Shanum looked over and saw his own reflection. "You're talking to me?"

Sergei looked at her with a worried look. "Yes, I asked you to go back to the villa?" Shanum did not immediately reply, he issued a voice *******. Shanum felt suddenly tired, but he still had to think about Sergei's question carefully.

He himself was confused by his behavior. Ever since he knew Khan, his feelings and thoughts have often become out of step. Common sense which is usually always the principle of his daily actions, as if disappearing without a trace. He becomes more often using his feelings that are often uncontrolled.

Shanum felt ashamed of himself, even though his parents had taught him to think before acting. Like the incident just now, he acted spontaneously without thinking with his common sense. He easily committed violence against the man he loved. The patience that he always glorified evaporated in the wind.

Now there was only sadness that he felt, when he saw anger in the man's eyes. His eyes were soft on Khan, but he tried to cover it up.

"Em, it doesn't seem to be. I changed my mind." Shanum said slowly. "I want to help you bend those criminals" he added.

"Ahh, woman and her mind are confused," Sergei murmured as he clucked.

"Great One, Shanum did not return to the villa. He will come with us" Sergei said. The man stared at Khan sharply. It seemed that Sergei did not like to see the man's attitude towards Shanum.

"I think we can leave now. Jullian and Abdan, you will accompany the Great. I will take care of Shanum. I hope no one objected. How's it?"

Jullian and Abdan nodded, as did Shanum, silently glancing at Khan. The man didn't say anything. His handsome face was still covered by his usual cold expression. Shanum sighed. He could not read the man through their bond, the man blocked him. So the girl had completely lost contact with him.

"Come on, Shanum." Sergei pulled the girl's elbow and her hand remained there as they stepped towards the forest. Faintly Shanum felt that there was a growling behind them. But when he looked up the voice disappeared.

"You all right, Shanum?" mishik Sergei by his ear. The man looked at her at a close distance. Shanum. "I'm fine."

While Khan who saw the closeness between Sergei and Shanum was furious. His blood was boiling in his veins. The man did not like to see Sergei close to Shanum.

"You want to see Shanum's magic?" The man smiled mischievously at the girl.

"Juggle?"

Shanum frowned confusedly. He was astonished, why when they were seriously approaching the enemy, the man instead acted silly offering magic.

"Yes, you look me in the eye." Sergei stopped stepping. He gestured for Shanum to follow his instructions, looking towards his eyes.

Shanum automatically stopped and took a serious look at the man. Sergei's beautiful blue eyeballs twitched, then met each other on the edge approaching his nose. Those eyes were exactly like the appearance of a squint's eyes.

Seeing that, Shanum rolled his eyes while giggling amusedly. "I'm serious, it just shows crossed eyes. I can too," ledek Shanum. Shanum's eyes then followed as Sergei had done earlier.

"Don't follow me, you won't be beautiful anymore." Sergei smiled smirk. Shanum instantly fell silent upon hearing the man's words. He felt a chill instantly blowing around him. And it makes his hair goosebumps.

"Why are you suddenly silent, Shanum?" asked Sergei with his naughty smile. Shanum glanced at Khan who was not far from him. He felt the man's gaze growing colder looking at him and Sergei.

"I'm not done yet. Now look at me again" continued the man. "Sergei, please don't joke anymore. I don't want to make Khan even more angry" Shanum whispered in Sergei's ear.

"Leave it. Didn't he ignore you. So you don't have to press it either" Sergei replied. "Now you see my eyes again."

Shanum sighed. "You sure this isn't gonna end badly?"

"No, just trust me." Sergei then again gestured with his two fingers to look into his eyes. The girl followed him, she saw the man's eyes glittering idly.

Shanum doesn't know what Sergei means? His angel-like face began to glow. Then he rubbed it, and the light from his face moved into his palm. Why does his face glow like a firefly? Shanum gawked in amazement.

Then the man turned the light with both palms into a ball. Then the ball of light was thrown upwards. Shanum followed the movement of the ball with his eyes. The ball moved up, then back down after being at one of the points.

Sergei stretched his hand upwards, then flicked his finger. The ball of light suddenly stopped moving. Around them, they were shining brightly. Shanum looked alternately towards that ball of light and Sergei's face. The girl was stunned.

"How's it?" ask the man.

Shanum clapped his hands while letting out a loud sigh and said, "An incredible performance. You have to teach me the trick. How-to? Let's say?" Shanum smiled broadly at Sergei with a face full of enthusiasm.

Sergei's approaching Shanum. "You sure want to learn it from me. Though your lover's face has almost cracked since then," whispered the man with a ticklish chuckle.

Shanum looked directly behind. He looked at Abdan smiling thinly and Jullian still with his expressionless face. As for Khan, the man's jaw tightened, his face looked turbid. His sharp gaze was directed at Sergei not at him. It was as if he wanted to tear the man apart.

The bright light that now shaded them increasingly showed the clarity of the man's expression. Shanum's heart immediately slipped looking at Khan's expression. But the girl was also confused, what caused the man to be angry with Sergei?

Sergei shrugged his shoulders. "sama-sama Shanum. If you ever want to study with me, I'll be happy to help you." Sergei pulled Shanum's elbow, took him back for a step.

But suddenly the man's hand was pulled and thrown violently. Both of them looked at. "Keep that filthy hand away from her!" hiss Khan with eyes glistening furiously. Sergei raised his eyebrows while smiling mockingly.

Shanum shook his head towards Sergei. He didn't want this to get complicated. "Stop, Adri! What do you mean this?" Shanum stared intently at the man.

"I don't like him touching you" Khan replied in a cold tone of voice. Shanum raised his chin. "Didn't you say you didn't want to see me. So let's just say I'm not here." The girl then signals Sergei not to heed Khan.

But indeed basically the man deliberately wanted to provoke Khan, he instead grinned and looked at Khan with a gesture of challenge. Khan growled, but said nothing more. He turned his body and walked back to where he was with a face full of emotions.

Shanum pulled Sergei's jacket, took him back for a step. "It turns out he can still be jealous, Shanum," the man whispered with an amused smile. Shanum stared intently at Sergei as he gestured to shut his mouth. The man broke down, "Okay, I'll stop bothering him."

Finally they continued their journey. Getting deeper into the forest, they saw a terrifying scene from the forest. Sergei's ball of light illuminated and followed his every step. The trees they passed through were fully visible, many were charred in flames. Some are even still emitting smoke.

Shanum felt like strangling those responsible for this. Her beautiful forest with greenish color turned to black wrapped in ash.

Although many trees were already burnt out, there was strangely no sunlight illuminating their surroundings. If there is no light bulb Sergei illuminates and follows, the forest will appear dimly lit tending to darken.

"The fire was extinguished, leaving a scorched tree. But why isn't there any sunlight coming into this forest, Sergei?" ask Shanum. The girl was astonished to see the appearance around her.

"They did light a fire just to lure us to that river. And the dimness in this mist was one of their magic as well. Let's just wait and see, what do they really want?" sahut Sergei with a face holding back anger. The man also did not like the actions of the troublemakers who deliberately burned the forest to the point of barely remaining.

"Well, you guys finally showed up. We've waited here long enough." The cry was spoken in fluent English and sounded from the darkness to Shanum's right, sending a distress signal into his brain. They all turned their heads and turned towards the origin of the voice.

The figure that appeared was wearing a long hooded jacket. He was still standing in the shadow of the fog. If you look at the type of voice, the one who is talking is a woman. Shanum squinted his eyes, trying to see the person's face.

"And I also did not expect to meet the great General of the Bataar Clan here." Sergei replied to the man's greeting, but in Mongolian.

The figure froze when he heard Sergei's words, but then he laughed out loud. His laughter sounded melodious in Shanum's ears. It was not a suitable voice for a General who used to struggle with violence and political intrigue. That voice was more suited to being a biduan.

"Pst... Sergei, you're sure he's a general. His voice is beautiful, not in his position" Shanum whispered.

"Yes, that's Sofia, General of the Bataar Clan. Believe me, his voice is an enemy lure to be able to get into his trap. You mustn't let your guard down, 'cause he's dangerous."

The woman gave a hand gesture and on her left and right sides appeared several male figures. Then they came out of the shadows. Now it looks more clearly in Shanum's eyes, the woman has a natural Asian face that is really sweet.

Netra eyes are brown, shaded eyebrows with neat matching colors. Her nose looks tiny, but fits the curve of her soft cheeks. The skin is white, but not pale, there is still a reddish pseudo like a woman who is blushing.

"Unexpectedly, it turns out that I met a countryman in this country. And maybe because we're a nation, can I ask the girl?" The woman gave her smile.

Sergei screeched and Khan growled in reaction to the woman's words. "Ooh, it doesn't seem to be, '" the woman continued, laughing.

Shanum should not be surprised, the woman did want him, according to the information he had obtained earlier. But hearing it directly from the woman's lips still made her body tremble in fear.

The woman tilted her head, she took off her hood and saw a long black strand of hair coming off the hood, moving in her movements. His two brown eyes glittered under the ball of light while his gaze was fixed on Shanum.

One hand was raised towards Sergei and Khan, who had been standing by Shanum's side for some time. Jullian and Abdan were still on standby where they stood. They were on full alert with that one raised hand, waiting for what the woman would do.

"Oww, attractive protection, against a worthless girl." The woman said, putting her hands in the pockets of the robes, while the women remained on standby full of the swords they were carrying.

The woman looked at Shanum slowly, then clicked her tongue as she saw the four men pull out their swords from behind the jacket. The sword can be folded like a knife, and can also be extended to the desire. They coated it with magic and the sword was ready for use.

Shanum was flabbergasted in shock, it turned out that all this time they had been carrying a sword that could be stored in a pocket. And he never realized it at all.

"You'd better get out of here" Khan growled, walking a step closer to the woman. The movements of the predator, its golden brown eyes dimmed and turned off. He then opened the hood and brandished his sword.

The woman clicked her tongue again. "That's right! The information I got was not true. You're a man. And I suspect you're all men except that girl." The woman squinted her eyes while looking at the four men. "And I still don't want to leave here. I have to take the girl, dead or alive."

Shanum felt a hole in his stomach. He gulped his saliva. "Never dare touch that girl." Khan's eyes glinted unhappily. "Because she's mine."

The woman was silent to hear Khan's ownership speech against Shanum. But then he jerked his chin towards Khan. "Then there is no other way. We have to fight to get the girl" he said.

Shanum was too trembling to speak. Can't believe he'll be contested like that. And Khan's remarks just now, had made his heart soar with pleasure, having previously felt pain by the man's refusal. The girl was also prepared to fight. Holding the strand of necklace she was wearing, she muttered inwardly to their success in the fight.

"Please, we'll serve." His mouth formed a sadistic line. "You want to say the last message before death to pick you up? Or do you want to choose how you'll die?"

Shanum froze at Khan's words. The girl knew, all this time her lover hid the polished brutality perfectly. But looking at it directly in front of the eyes like this still makes the fur on its back stand all.

Even the war with Chinua at that time did not show the form of Khan like this. Shanum suspected the behavior was an accumulation of the anger the man was experiencing today. And it's all because of him.
