They stopped in front of Shanum's room door. Khan looked at his girl with eyes glistening meaningfully. Staring at the strands of hair that had escaped her maiden bond, dangled forward and immediately tucked behind her ears by her. Shanum then looked up and looked at the man. There was a strange pressure in the air when their eyes met, the two of them were fixated without anyone wanting to avert their eyes.
"You always look beautiful" Khan said, muttering. The man looked at him as if he was being bewitched by his lover. Though the girl felt her pillow face, and her messy hair tonight, was not worthy of praise.
"You must be kidding." The girl rolled her eyes. "It's not my best performance" he said again with a careless expression.
"Why? You look perfect in my eyes. Even if your face is full of sweat and dust" Khan said. The man looked at Shanum deeply, gulping down the entirety of the girl in his memory.
Shanum's blood rippled and his bones melted hearing the man's words. But then he seemed to wake up, Shanum froze. The girl dropped her head into her palm and rubbed hard on her forehead. The girl's feeling suddenly felt bad, she looked back at Khan sharply.
"Don't tell me you're leaving me. Turns out your appeal was just to distract me." Shanum hated the accusatory tone in his voice. But he could not curb the bad premonition that appeared suddenly in his heart. "Is it because of Dad? You're offended by his treatment of you? In a hurry to return" urged Shanum.
Khan hesitated, then combed the hair with his hands. He found it difficult to explain, but he could not leave everything like this. Not if the girl becomes misinterpreting her attitude. Maybe he didn't think long when he said those words to his girl. All of that just came from his mouth, according to the deepest reflection of his heart.
Her boyfriend was indeed amazingly beautiful in her eyes. Whatever the girl's condition, Khan will still fall in love many times to her. Her head could not look at the other woman, though she was twice as beautiful and attractive as Shanum.
There was something inside the girl that made her approach, like a moth longing for light. At first he tried to resist it, resisted the attraction, and desperately suggested that it was just a coincidence.
He lied to himself that what he felt was not love. Only a momentary impingement due to his loneliness that had been ingrained accompanied him for hundreds of years. Until finally at some point, when he almost lost the girl, and it hit his heart hard. Makes her realize that she loves Shanum with all her soul.
"I'm telling you the truth, Shasha. Not to seduce or any other purpose." The man sighed. "And as for my departure, you knew that even before your parents showed up. I still have to go back, honey. They've started to get suspicious of the person who replaced me. And about your father, I will try to be heartened, by not putting all his words and attitude into his heart" Khan said in a soft voice.
Shanum's lips began to shake and he bit his lower lip to make it more stable. "So I guess I can no longer say anything but wish you could solve your problems there, and take good care of yourself" she said.
Shanum's face wrinkled, trying to hold back desperately the tears that were about to slide down from the corner of his eyes. With her throat choked, the girl tried to smile. "Are you coming back tomorrow?" ask the girl.
"Yes. After Jullian delivers me by teleportation, I will have him return here. He and Abdan still have a duty to restore your burning forest. And also Jullian should help your father hone his teleportation powers. I made a promise to your mother, Shasha."
Shanum nodded his head. Much Shanum wanted to say, but less was enough than he should have been. His sore throat held back the strong urge to say that he felt a bad premonition echoing in his mind. Shanum tightly sealed their ties. Just so that the man could not read the thing raging within him. He did not want to make Khan anxious, because not necessarily his premonition was proven correct.
The man must return, and Shanum will begin to live out his own days, without him. Shanum's heart was pounding with pain in his ribs. He did not know if he was afraid when the farewell came or expected it to come soon, so that at least this terrible waiting period would come to an end.
So Shanum was caught in a torturous silence when the only thing he wanted to say was don't leave me, because I didn't want to part with you.
Khan was just as tense, and their conversation took place in a short matter and dried up as they both felt they could continue talking.
Shanum had to hug his own body to stop his hand from hugging Khan.
Khan cleared his throat. "I'll be back, Shasha. There's no giving up on me, even though your father hates me. You want to wait for me?" ask her in a soft voice. The man's smile seemed to squirm pain.
"Yes. I will wait for you, Adri," Shanum replied. He did not dare to look at Netra Khan directly. Afraid the man saw the sadness reflected in his eyes.
"Okay, have a good rest, Shasha." Khan rubbed Shanum's cheek gently. Then the man walked out from before him.
After staring at the back of the man who was getting further away and disappearing from his sight, Shanum opened the room door. When she was inside, the girl leaned her back against the door and took a deep breath. It went better than he feared.
He was calm, cold, and could hold back his tears from dripping. He held himself in his arms and begged Khan not to leave, although he almost did so as to feel the bad feeling in his heart pressuring him even more.
This is the best Shanum told himself. Just face it, he was unable to hold the man by his side at the moment. Because if those Elders managed to dismantle his disguise, they would also be tormented. Khan would have been locked up even tighter with no way to meet him again, until the Selection was completed. Shanum didn't want that to be true.
A stabbing pain in the back of Shanum's head, and his throat choked. He pulled the hair ties from his head and changed his clothes with a faded little kitten-patterned pajama. He sighed while feeling the comfort brought by the pajamas. After that he went to the bathroom, cleaned himself before going to bed, to rest his tired body and heart.

The next day, when they had all finished breakfast. Khan began to express his farewell words to everyone in the room, and everyone at the dinner table reacted and replied politely. Only Dimas did not reply and displayed an aura of hostility towards Khan.
Khan did not care about Shanum's father's attitude. He again explains his plan which assigns Jullian and Abdan to help Shanum and Dimas.
Throughout the breakfast, Shanum tried to act ordinary. He didn't want anyone else to know his chest was so tight ever since he saw Khan step foot into the dining room.
"Goddessa..."
After a moment of freezing, Khan suddenly pushed his chair back and stood up, then stopped as if he had forgotten what he wanted to talk about, when he saw the girl's palm raised as a sign so that the man did not come closer.
"I'm sorry, I was thinking about my plan with the burning forest. What's up, Adri?" Shanum tried hard to be relaxed while wiping the coffee spill on the table.
Khan was doubtful. But then he sat back in his chair. Khan watched the attitude of the girl who returned engrossed in his coffee, before turning to look into his eyes. Shanum has been bright and full of smiles ever since he found her enjoying her breakfast.
Shanum could have acted as if he had been normal with his passing, but he was not stupid. He realized the girl was trying to cover up the feeling of losing her. So Khan is as good as normal. He will not follow Shanum with his eyes clear. Though in his heart raged the desire of his bar-man, to kidnap the girl and bring her back with him to Astrakhan.
But Khan can't, he can't afford to be that superficial. Shanum still has to finish his studies, and he also still has to try to get approval from his future father-in-law.
Shanum frowned questioningly. He was waiting for the words of the man. Khan sighed, then said, "I just wanted you to call me right away if there were anything suspicious again."
Shanum smiled, then nodded his head. "You don't have to worry. Now there's Dad and Mom here who can take care of me."
Upon hearing Shanum's words, Khan stood up from his seat. He replied to Shanum's reply with a faint smile. Then he stepped into the corner of the room, picking up his backpack. Jullian and Abdan followed Khan from behind and they briefly conversed in their language.
Shanum, who now understands the language, vaguely hears Jullian asking if Khan wants to say goodbye to Shanum personally. Which was immediately answered by Khan with a headband. To make Shanum's heart tear apart, the tear slowly hurt when he saw the rejection movement.
Shanum could no longer resist the screams that drained his mind and heart. He got up from his chair. Then open the bond connection between himself and Khan. Shanum could no longer endure the terrible waves of his pain, his pain and his unwillingness to lose it.
The shock of the taste pressed hard towards their bonds. Khan was holding his chest, breathing heavily, he felt hit by something heavy. He wanted to fall to his knees. Then he turned his gaze towards Shanum. Khan's face looked shaken, they stared at each other in silence. Everyone in the room saw the wave. Feeling the warm air slowly spreading over the cold air in the morning.
They didn't understand the meaning, but they knew there was a force exploding in the room. That power slowly began to reveal itself, shining radiating from within Shanum's body. Raisa smothered her mouth when she saw the golden radiance that enveloped the body of her beloved daughter. While Dimas looks amazed can not take his eyes off.
Khan put down his backpack again, then he half ran towards Shanum. His arms stretched out wide, before pulling Shanum's body into his arms. Raisa saw Dimas want to open his mouth. But the woman immediately smothered her husband's mouth.
"One word you dare say, I don't want to see you in my bed every night. Don't bother them, you understand, Mom!" raisa snapped with a fierce face, glaring towards her husband.
Dimas seemed to gulp his saliva, then nodded with a look of shocked eyes. The man looked shocked to get a snatch from his usually meek wife. Raisa took off her provisions, then turned her head back towards her daughter. It didn't matter if her husband was still frozen beside her.
Khan's hands hugged, and pressed his body into Shanum's body. So tight that Shanum couldn't breathe. But Shanum doesn't care. He wanted to be in that position forever, clinging to Khan, kissing his fragrance, loving him.
"I don't want to be separated from you either, and will miss you very much, Shasha" Khan whispered. "If I hadn't looked at your parents, I'd have taken you with me" she said slowly.
"You must promise to keep the news, even if it is as difficult as it may be," urged Shanum in a soft voice.
"Yes. I'll work on it, honey," Khan replied softly in Shanum's ear.
The two of them kept hugging and whispering. No one wanted to break away, until Sergei finally cleared his throat. "You're still planning on returning to Astrakhan, the Great One?" call him with the next curved eyebrow. It seems that only the man dared to act arbitrarily towards Khan.
Khan reluctantly releases Shanum. "I have to go." The man kissed the back of the girl's hand and then started to move away.
Shanum nodded, tears gleaming in his eyes, and while hugging his own body, he watched Khan take back his backpack. With his hands holding both straps of his backpack, Khan looked doubtful, then looked back at Shanum as if he wanted to say something.
For a pleasant moment, Shanum thought that Khan would change his mind and delay his departure, but in the end the man smiled faintly at him, then gestured to Jullian and Abdan. The two understood the clue to them, instantly nodded respectfully, re-enforcing the body and touching each other's shoulders who were next to him.
The three of them instantly disappeared from the room.
Nah! Shanum wanted to scream. Nah! Don't leave!
But there was no point in it screaming in the heart. Khan has gone. Bring some of his soul with him.
Raisa was suddenly already beside Shanum. He touched his daughter's shoulder. Shanum turned to his mother. She immediately hugged her dear mother with tears. Raisa's face looks sad. She found out that her daughter loved the man very much. And vice versa with his men. Their feelings reciprocate.
Only the blind cannot see the depth of taste that they both have. Raisa looked towards Dimas. They looked at me in silence. She saw that her husband seemed to be holding back the bitterness within her. His jaw tightened, his eyes looking gloomy.
If it had been this deep, it would have been impossible for Raisa to let Dimas separate them. She had to seriously discuss this with her husband. Do not let the happiness of his daughter be sacrificed by the excessive worry of the father.
