The tent had been set up under the shade of those trees. It turned out that the inside was bigger than Shanum had thought. Chinua invited him in for a rest, after they had walked together in silence down the path between the trees.
"I didn't expect you to have your tent set up in this place" Shanum said as his eyes adjusted from the dimmer light outside to the golden light emanating from the many candles. The sky is starting to darken. Elicits a dim twilight shade.
"Yes, this tent has been prepared by my bodyguard. As for the place, Khan and his troops were determining the location, because they were already in this place."
Chinua bent down to grab a glass of drink from a short table filled with food and drink dishes. Then he stood facing the door.
Shanum noticed the arrangement of the position and contents of the tent, there was one sleeping mat in the corner, large and luxurious, with a jeweled blanket.
Shanum frowned looking at the jewel on the blanket and said, "Is your sleep able to be soundly covered in such expensive items?"
Chinua turned his head, he noticed the blanket Shanum pointed at while smiling faintly.
"Oh that. I wouldn't be able to sleep without that blanket."
Shanum rolled his eyeballs. "That's right."
"It's ridiculous anyway. But, the blanket was a gift from someone who meant a lot to me. So, of course I like it a lot," Chinua replied with a smile on her tiny lips.
Shanum. "Who dares to give you a blanket that expensive, so as to bring thieves around your bed."
Chinua chuckled amusedly. "Nobody's gonna have the guts to steal it from me, Shanum. You see, the blanket was already cast a spell."
"Here, just weird, until the blanket must be given all spells," decak Shanum said in no way.
"You must be curious to know about the spell, right, Shanum?"
Shanum seemed to think for a moment, then he nodded enthusiastically.
"The mirror is easy. You just say the word love three times after that the name of the person you love." Chinua's mouth widens to form a grin.
Realizing he was being bullied, Shanum opened his mouth to protest. However, as yet he had no time to let out any words, Chinua had raised his hand, gesturing for him to stop.
Amused sparkles radiate in the eye of Chinua, the following ******* are thrown. "You can't believe I could say such an absurd sentence. I myself was also astonished, at this usually rigid me."
Then Chinua giggled, this time his face was met with red.
Shanum only snorted, as he rolled his eyes at Chinua's ridiculous remark.
"You know the person who gave you the blanket, Shanum," he whispered softly. Chinua's face was seen shining among the smiles that his lips were looking at. Shanum was stunned, admiring her beauty.
"What exactly?" shanum asked enthusiastically mixed with curiosity.
"Jeez Shanum. You don't know?" seloroh Chinua did not believe it. "You should have easily guessed the guy. You'll be there when he sacrifices himself for me."
"Awhile..."
Shanum looked at Chinua fixedly and was busy thinking.
"That's Dario?"
Chinua nodded with a radiant face.
"Ah, it turns out that man" Shanum said.
Then a look of astonishment was seen in Shanum's eyes. He shook his head, still half believing Dario was capable of giving away such a precious gem-studded blanket. Usually stiff men like the Dario type, do not even remember to give a beautiful gift to their partner.
However, Shanum suddenly froze, remembering one more man of the same type as Dario. The man was Khan Adrian, her own husband. She should not be surprised, because her own husband had acted the same as Dario.
Shanum smiled.
"I'm so happy to see you now have the courage to accept his love" Shanum said as he leaned over to the table to fetch a glass of water.
After putting the water in the glass, Shanum sat down next to Chinua. His eyes were bulging, feeling the tenderness of the carpet on which the pedestal sat. "It turns out this carpet is very soft and comfortable yes."
"of course. I never want to refuse comfort as long as I can still get it."
"Yes. Parents should not sit or sleep in a hard place" Shanum said with a plain face.
Chinua's hand holding the glass stopped in midair. Chinua put the glass back, then squinted her eyes.
"Don't tell me you're saying I'm old, Shanum."
Shanum grinned with an innocent face. It seems he offended the woman. Shanum forgot, that old words equal age, abstinence is mentioned in women. Because it has a high sensitivity.
In order to avoid the trouble he had unconsciously created, Shanum pretended to be interested in watching the water in his glass seriously.
Before long, Shanum heard the chant spoken, then a muttering sound.
"No wrinkles. Still smooth and tight."
Interested in seeing and curious, Shanum glanced at Chinua. And he immediately gawked. Upon awakening from his shock, Shanum smothered his mouth. Trying to catch your breath so as not to laugh directly.
Especially when looking at Chinua's next behavior, which he thought was very funny. The woman patted both cheeks, turned her face left and right, and pecked her face at the magic glass she made herself while muttering.
Finally, the laughter broke out from Shanum's mouth. She laughed out loud while holding her stomach.
Chinua raised his eyebrows, but he did not comment, only watching Shanum laugh until he stopped himself.
Moments later, while gasping, Shanum turned to Chinua and found an amused smile had risen in the woman's mouth.
"I'm glad to be able to comfort you right now, Shanum. At least this old lady could erase the trace of sadness that had been present in your eyes."
Shanum's expression instantly changed completely. His eyes were no longer sparkling with laughter, his lips instantly clenched tightly, and the net of his eyes had again become dim.
Chinua clucked loudly. "Oh, I'm sorry. It made you think again of that stupid man's behavior."
Shanum's expression grew increasingly saddened to hear Chinua's frank expression. Even though he guessed the so-called fool, he asked, "Who do you call stupid?"
"Who else besides your handsome husband," Chinua replied in an irritated tone of voice.
Shanum breathed deeply. "Don't say anything like that about him, Chinua. This whole thing is my fault."
Chinua raised her eyebrows. "Why should it be your fault?" he said asking for an explanation.
And finally, the truth that Shanum had been hiding and shut in his mind. He was forced to reveal it so that there were no more suspicions from Chinua. After all, the woman is his family, of course, he will not divulge it to others.
After finishing the story, Shanum smiled nervously. He was looking forward to Chinua's comments. Good or bad comments of the woman will be received with a spacious chest.
However, Shanum did not find any comment. Chinua was silent, staring fixedly at him.
"Nothing you want to say?" shanum Urge.
Chinua cleared her throat. "I'm not going to give you a lot of sentences, just one sentence, which is: your husband is really a moron." Instead of judging Shanum, Chinua cursed Khan.
Shanum. "Here you go, don't add any more. It was stupid, now stupid, after this maybe you'll call it stupid."
"Yes. Thas right. I'll string it like that. Because he's stupid, Shanum. Oh, my God, your husband is-arghh."
After growling annoyed, Chinua hit the carpet with his fist, until the ground below them began to shake and the tent also swayed.
"Woa.stop that. You want to keep us buried alive here." Shanum reflex standing up.
Chinua grinned, then he closed his eyes, sticking his palm back on the carpet. A sparkling blue light slowly spread on the floor and the shock suddenly stopped.
Shanum heaved a sigh of relief while putting one of his hands on his chest. "You really are. Makes my heart almost fall."
"If you're scared, why don't you just run out?" Chinua Eject.
"Keep, leave you alone here? Then, if anything happens to you, I'll feel guilty for life to Dario" Shanum replied.
"Ah. You're worried about me. It's so sweet."
Shanum rolled his eyeballs.
"By the way about Dario, where is he now?"
"So soon he'll be here."
Just as Chinua threw the sentence, they heard a noise from the door curtain.
Shanum was surprised, when he saw Dario actually bending his head into the tent. As Chinua said, the man appeared before them.
"You okay?" dario asked with an anxious face. The man approached Chinua, examining the woman's body closely.
Chinua rolled her eyeballs. "I'm fine, Io."
Dario immediately grabbed Chinua tightly while peeking at his lips. "I'm worried to know."
Chinua smiled, grabbed and rubbed the man's jaw. "I can take care of myself."
"I know, but I'm still worried."
Shanum smiled amusedly at their friendly behavior. The term world seems to belong to both, others only contract, really suitable to describe the behavior of the two lovebirds at this time.
"Em, there's Shanum, Io," Chinua whispered as she blushed. Dario immediately turned to Shanum and smiled, nodding his head.
Shanum replied with a smile as well and said, "Please continue, I'll just get out of here huh."
"Eh, no!" prevent Chinua. The woman faced Dario then whispered, "I still want to talk to Shanum, Io. Can you?"
Smile from Dario's lips. "Of course I can." Dario let go of his embrace.
The man cleared his throat and looked wrong. "All right, I'm leaving you guys back."
Dario kissed Chinua's back, then stepped towards the door of the tent.
Dario. "Yes, Shanum."
"Is the other tent okay, Dario?" ask Shanum.
"There were only two tents that collapsed. The tent of the Great Khan Adrian and the tent of Miss Sarni. The other tent stood firm."
Shanum. He glanced towards Chinua. And the woman did not look towards Shanum. His eyes focused on Dario.
"You'd better leave soon, honey. Isn't it your job to help Khan. You said that the tent had collapsed" Chinua said with a sweet smile.
Feeling subtly expelled Dario nodded. "After helping Khan, I will return," the man said as he hurried to leave them.
Shanum's eyes were directed at Chinua, when he saw the curtain closed again. "I'm sure you must have been intentional. Tell me, how do you do it?"
Chinua did not answer. He leaned over to pick up the small cakes from the table, he turned his back to Shanum.
Feeling ignored, Shanum stood in front of Chinua, pulled his elbow, and forced the woman to face him with a face that was clear. "Say, Chinua. Please..."
Chinua raised his eyebrows next to him, then smiled smirk. "Hem, secrets."
The woman put the cake back in her mouth and seemed to enjoy it. "Hem, this cake is delicious."
"Ish..." Shanum pursed his lips, looking annoyed. He snatched the cake from Chinua's grasp and stuffed it into his mouth.
Shanum's eyes immediately puffed up, "Yes, good."
Chinua clucked in annoyance. "Main just take it. That's mine know," she protested.
Shanum immediately turned to the table, picked up the same cake, and thrust it at Chinua. "This is me giving back the cake."
Chinua rolled her eyeballs. "Snake. Eat it yourself." The woman pushed back the cake that Shanum had brought. Then threw his ass on his bed.
"And about that, I confess, the power of my damper passed through their tent. So, only their tents would definitely collapse. But no need to worry, they must be fine" Chinua explained as she rubbed gems on her blanket.
Shanum choked on the cake he was eating, his eyes shed tears and coughed loudly. Chinua helps grab the nearest glass, then attaches it to Shanum's lips.
Shanum cleared his throat, sighing deeply. "You..."
His speech was interrupted, he cleared his throat again, and coughed a little more.
Chinua filled Shanum's glass with water, giving it back to Shanum.
"I'm at a loss for words." Shanum shook his head after starting to master the choking effect earlier.
Silent.
Shanum looked at Chinua with a deep smile, then said, "I love you, Chinua. Thank you for doing that." Kontan Shanum hugged Chinua.
Chinua was stunned, his body becoming stiff. He was never treated this warmly, except by Dario. The beautiful woman smiled, her body instantly relaxed and returned Shanum's warm embrace.
"Don't expect you to be so vindictive, Shanum." Chinua stretched out their embrace, shaking her head. Then he chuckled amusedly.
Shanum chuckled along with Chinua with a slightly embarrassed look. In fact, some of Shanum's heart felt awkward, because he was happy to get the disaster. But, since he was also annoyed at the woman, so the awkwardness finally disappeared.
"I'm happy to be your family, Shanum." Chinua said softly.
Shanum's heart warms, at least among a few problems that afflict him, he finds love from Chinua.
"me too. Never thought to have a beautiful, powerful and kind ancestor."
Chinua's eyes glazed over. "You know Shanum. You're better than me. I am nothing. I know that, ever since you advised me, makes me realize that loving sincerely is not a weakness. And that hatred is but a manifestation of futility."
Shanum's eyes were glazed over. "I'm flattered, Auntie."
"Can I call you Auntie? You see, if you call you ancestral grandmother, the impression is very old," he added.
Chinua. "Of course it's okay, Shanum."
The sound of debate in front of the door curtain cut their laughter. The two women looked at each other with astonished expressions.
"My Queen, the Great One forced to meet." One of Chinua's bodyguards flicked the door of the tent while saluting.
"Allow enter" Chinua replied as he got up from his seat, followed by Shanum.
The first thing that appeared in Shanum's head when Khan emerged from behind the curtain was a problem. The matter emanated from a cold expression on the man.
Shanum glanced at Chinua, he saw the same stiff face. It seemed Chinua could sense something was amiss from Khan's arrival to his tent.
Khan ignored Shanum. He walked with stiff steps towards Chinua. If the situation isn't tense like this, it's like Shanum's coming out of the tent. All these things were rigid, making him anxious, and thinking there would be something that would end up broken at the end of the meeting.
Dario appeared to follow in hasty steps after Khan had already stood in his position. Dario's face looked cloudy. I don't know what made Dario's face look like that.
"What are you looking for me for?" ask Chinua without saying anything. His eyes glanced also at Dario while giving a question code. And was met with a small ringing that appeared on Dario's lips.
"What are you doing, Chinua?" Khan's voice sounded blaring.
Shanum jerks. Chinua did not look surprised at all. The woman smiled thinly. "Nothing I did. What do you mean to suddenly show up and act out of courtesy like this?"
Khan's eyes were squeaking sharply. "Liar."
Chinua's jaw tightened sharply on hearing the accusations. But he still raised his chin haughtily, not accepting being bullied by Khan.
"Be careful what you say, Khan. I don't like seeing your face right now."
The man gritted his teeth. "Say, Goddamnit! No need to squint anymore."
Shanum was immediately on guard, when he saw the body gestures of the two clan leaders. Hot air began to spread in the air, indicating the power struggle of the two will begin soon.
O Lord, what must he do, to prevent dissension among them.
Shanum was busy thinking until he didn't realize Khan was breaking the table.
Shanum was startled, his hands raised, preparing to separate the two who were stirring up anger before him.
"There's nothing I need to tell you, you son of a bitch."
Dario took a step forward, trying to get into the arena of that debate. But Chinua immediately raised his hand, gesturing for Dario to stop, following a sharp look at him, which meant: 'stay where you are, do not interfere'.
"There was. You must be the mastermind of the earthquake that just happened" Khan accused.
Chinua smiled cynically. "If I did it, what do you want?" his challenge.
Shanum observed Khan's face, never had he seen the man this angry just because the tent had collapsed. There must be something else behind his anger. And it made his stomach suddenly feel pain.
"You've made Sintai hurt. His head was hit by a tent support pole" the man said in a cold tone.
Shanum suddenly stepped back, as if Khan's words had just hit him in the face. Shanum's eyes searched for certain emotions hidden in Khan. Looking for other flavors beyond just anxiety.
But the man was illegible, only a cold face full of anger. Shanum tries to find her back through their bond. But it was hard, Khan closed himself.
"Oh, so all these accusations are because of the snake woman. So what's the business with me?" Chinua's eyes grew even more glistening with anger.
"You have to apologize to him" Khan replied easily. It was as if Chinua was a child who needed to be rebuked for having made a mistake.
Hearing Khan's words, Chinua laughed loudly. "Hey, who do you think that woman is?! I don't even care about him. Just let him get hurt, and die if you have to."
"You..."
Khan stretched out his hand to form a fist, but suddenly the grip was held back by Dario.
"That's enough, Great One. You don't have to embarrass yourself any further."
"Let him, Io. So that we know the stripes that tried to be covered by him all this time," Chinua cut.
Chinua moves around Khan. Overshadowed by Dario's strict care.
"Huh, I never thought, it turns out that the anxiety of the last few months for his wife is a lie. If you really care about your wife, all you're worried about is Shanum, not even the woman who's nobody."
Khan hesitated for a moment to hear Chinua's insinuations. He clenched his hands tightly on both sides of his body. "I don't have to worry about him. He must be fine with the other clan's queen's sword."
Shanum's heart stopped beating. His eyes stared at Khan. Both of his legs are hollow. He fell on the carpet with his head down. Too numb to calmly process Khan's words just now.
Shanum tried to take a deep breath, but the pain in his heart grew sharp. All the common sense that had been guiding him had simply disappeared, leaving a sense of tightness in such a way, overwhelming him.
Shanum raised his face. Seeing the three people freeze motionless.
Shanum did not pay attention to Dario and Chinua's expressions, the focus of his gaze this time was on Khan.
And how sad she was when she saw her husband's cold and flat expression directed at her. All his theatrics, hopes and good intentions had turned out to be in vain.
Shanum could not say a single word. His neck was suffocated by disappointment. Slowly tears began to drip one after another from the end of his eyes. As he felt unable to bear all the heavy weight on his shoulders, Shanum sobbed.
From behind the mist of her tears, she saw Khan blanching. And Chinua darted towards him. The woman sat down while holding her tightly without excuse.
"You're out, leave us!" Show Chinua to Khan.
"Take him away, Io. Before I attack him here."
Dario nodded and pulled Khan's shoulder. The man refused several times Dario's hand. Khan's eyes were focused on Shanum. But eventually Dario insisted, he pulled back more forcefully.
Khan's gaze automatically changed, he turned his gaze on his shoulder. The objection that Khan had wanted to make to Dario, he paled. All because Khan saw the lightning of the plea reflected in Dario's eyes.
Finally Khan relented, he stepped up with a shunt, out of the tent following Dario.
