Who's That Woman?

Everyone waited for Dr. Irawan to read the results of the health tests that Regan had just done with the medical team accompanied directly by Rehan who served as Deputy Director of Medical Services at the Kusuma Hospital owned his family.

Shinta and Hendra also come there as soon as they get a call from Melodi who tells them that Regan is awake and has some complaints that they have to deal with immediately.

They are already impatient with the results of the medical record that will show Regan's health condition for now. Not only did Yona feel devastated, even Regan's parents felt like they had just been hit by the stairs for the second time once they heard Regan had partially lost her memory.

The man only remembers all his memories until May 6 when Regan and Yona had not met and had not known each other.

Two male nurses pushed Regan's bed out of the CT scan to the man's ward again. Lili approached Regan, holding the man's hand.

"This regan is Mommy, how are you doing now, dear? What do you feel let the doctor give you medicine" said Lili sounding very worried.

Regan smiled and stroked her mother's hand.

"Mother do not cry too much, I know at this time Mother's eyes must be swollen even though Regan can not see clearly the face of the Mother" Regan told the mother.

Yona shuts her mouth so as not to let out a heart-wrenching prank that might further confuse Regan. Yona tries her utmost to control her emotions so as not to hug Regan and cry in the man's arms.

Yona cries, yells, and berates Regan for being cruel to her by forgetting all about Yona. But what is Yona's power? Yona must work with everyone to keep Regan's health stable.

The sound of sobbing could not be contained Shinta, the woman lowered her head unable to see Regan and her daughter had to experience a very terrible event like this.

Regan's forehead wrinkled, the man stared at Shinta from head to toe. Regan's mind was trying desperately to find a figure that felt very familiar to him.

"He's his wife Om Hendra, a friend of Father and Mother. Regan had seen Om Hendra's photo in the wedding photo album Mother and Father," explained Lili before her son was increasingly tortured.

Regan just nodded in understanding while thinking of remembering the faces of Shinta and Hendra she had seen before.

"It's time for the patient to return to his room" said the nurse, taken by everyone.

"You just go into your room, Mother here with Father to see the results of the examination of Regan's condition," explained Lili answered a nod by Regan.

The two nurses pushed Regan's bed back into her ward. 

While everyone is now staring anxiously dr.Irawan who came out carrying a large white envelope and also the results of a CT scan of Regan's head which is now in the hands of dr.Irawan.

"How's Doctor? What happened to my son?" tanya Lili looked at the curious dr.Irawan.

Dr. Irawan opened up the results of the CT Scan, showing it to everyone.

"There's a problem with the wound on Regan's head. We can see this, this is what will connect the eye nerves to the brain like sending a signal is a common language. Because here there is damage, brain function that should be able to record people's faces becomes damaged. This is called Developmental-type prosopagnosia where the patient can memorize people from their hair, body shape, voice. But sometimes they can recognize faces" explained Dr. Irawan to all of them.

"Do you mean, my son can't recognize everyone's face anymore?" tanya Septian.

With great regret, dr.Irawan nodded.

"Sometimes Developmental patients can recognize faces but yes only a few minutes or even a few seconds," continued Dr.Irawan.

"Then what about the memory that was lost only part of the Doctor? Does that mean Regan will forget everything that happened after the date she remembered until the moment she opened her eyes?" yona asked with a face very frustrated and also furious.

Dr. Irawan again showed me the picture there.

"Because of the inflammation that occurred in her brain, she had Retrograde Amnesia. Where she could only lose her memory in the period of time before she experienced trauma in her brain," explained Dr. Irawan made Yona's body goosebumps.

Hendra gripped Yona's body.

"You have to be calm, Regan will definitely heal and remember you" Hendra told Yona.

Yona looked at dr.Irawan with a heart-wrenching look.

"Doctor, how long will Regan's condition last?" asked Yona with teary eyes.

"Patients need time to restore their brain function and also remind about some of the events that he or she forgot. Including introducing the faces of those closest to him who can train the patient's brain to recognize faces again" said Dr. Irawan explained.

"How long?" lili asked interjected, she could not bear to see her son experiencing such a bad thing. How could Regan live such a horrible life? Regan must have been so tormented for not being able to see people's faces again.

How was their face in front of the man? Are their faces flat? Or do their faces look faint and blurred in the eyes of the man? Just imagining it made Lili speechless again.

"Depending on the patient's condition, there are several months of improvement some are up to years. The most important thing is not to force the patient to remember everything, it actually worsens the mental and brain condition of the patient. It can cause seizures and death. So all parties are expected to refrain from forcing patients to remember anything" concluded dr.Irawan cautioned the families not to impose their will.

There have been many cases where the people closest to the patient forced the patient to remember events that he forgot but instead had a bad impact on the patient and many ended up in a coma until death.

"What would happen if I told you that I'm her future fiance and that we're actually getting married in two days?" ask Yona to dr.Irawan.

"You will lose the man you love forever" answered Dr.Irawan like a bolt of lightning in broad daylight to the woman.

Yona slumped to the floor along with her tears which were now flowing from her eyes like those tears had no limit to stop. I don't know how many tears Yona has shed in these six days. The woman never tired of crying over Regan who now doesn't remember her at all.

How painful it is to be Yona. Her engagement is canceled, a huge loss that her family has to bear to cover the cost of the engagement is void, then the threat of becoming a suspect that can be embedded in the name of Yona at any time, and also the fact that she has to accept that Regan doesn't remember about her.

That is the struggle, and this is what Yona must feel and must accept to fight for the love that has already been residing in her soul and body. Forward he was destroyed, while backward he was already melted.

Melody aligned her body with Yona, the woman crouched on the floor and hugged Yona tightly. Melody can't do anything to help her best friend. Melody is unable to help Regan because Melodi does not have magic skills that can cure people with a single speech. Melody only prays for Yona and Regan to be given the strength to face the trials that are now afflicting their relationship.

Just as a tree grows, it is impossible to grow tall and grow without a rain of wind that makes the roots of the tree stronger. Love is the same, anyone who is able and can pass all the trials that come, they are a lucky couple who can strengthen each other without making trouble for reasons to go.

Lili held Regan's shoulder, then stroked her son's head even though the child was no longer a child. Children are still children, for parents they never grow up and are always treated like they are small.

"It was the effect of surgery on Regan's head" Lili explained.

"Mother is trying to smile, right? Ck, Regan knows Mommy's lying," chuckles Regan but instead sounds very wry.

Lili chuckled, even in her current state Regan was still thinking about Lili's feelings and trying to cover up the man's inner uneasiness.

In Regan's heart, the man was truly at a point of destruction that she could no longer explain. Regan could not see the faces of her parents and friends. Everyone looked the same, only their hairstyle, posture, and voice looked different in Regan's eyes and ears.

I don't know what disease has hit him. And what dream has he experienced to experience such an ill-fated thing.

Who's the lady? Why was the voice of the woman in her dream exactly the same as the voice of the woman in her nursery when Regan woke up? Who her?

"Oh yes Mother, the woman who was here when Regan came to her senses. Was that woman there?" regan asked, frowning curiously.

"Oh her Yona, her son Om Hendra and Aunt Shinta. Why?" tanya Lili made sure, hoping Regan also remembered about Yona.

"Regan felt no stranger to the woman," Regan replied speechlessly.

Of course you're no stranger to Yona, Regan. She's the woman you'll marry after your engagement. She's the woman you've loved until you forget the image you've built all along. She was the first woman to be your first kiss. She's also the woman who's been making you up in the fog just because for a while you haven't seen her in your eyes.

Why do your eyes not recognize that woman? Your eyes used to want to see it all the time. Why can your brain be so easy to forget the woman who always wiri in your memory? There was no time for you without thinking about Yona. You cannot concentrate or continue your activities if there is no news from the woman.

Isn't that too cruel? You should keep it in your heart, not just in your brain.

Regan was heartbroken, it felt like Regan's chest hurt as soon as she remembered the voice in her dream. Maybe after this Regan will ask the doctor to give him a sedative. It could have been all this because of the trauma his brain received after the accident that hit him.

The knock in Regan's nursery made Regan and Lili turn their heads there. Shinta, Hendra and Yona walk into Regan's ward like most visitors.

"That's Om Hendra's family coming," Lili told Regan.

Shinta, Hendra and Yona walk up to Regan who is in a wheelchair facing the man's outdoor balcony.

"We brought the parcel to Regan, hopefully Regan will improve soon" said Shinta very heavily.

How not heavy? Usually they would greet each other with familiarity and now they had to act as if they were someone else who was visiting Regan as a friend of the man's parents.

Yona flicked her hands, trying to hold back the tears that now wanted to fall from her eyes.

Regan looked at Yona, even though the man could not see her face. But her pure white skin, unraveling hair, and Yona's proportional body seem to tell Regan that she may be very beautiful. Ah too bad Regan can't see her face stuff just once.

"Sorry to trouble you" Regan told the William Family, especially to Yona, who has yet to meet Regan.

Regan looked up at Yona blatantly.

"So you're no stranger to my eyes?"

'Of course, I used to even close your eyes at the sight of my personal belongings, ' Yona replied in her heart.

"This aunt is an international model, she's working with an agency in France" Shinta said.

Regan clucked in awe, not expecting if the woman was a model. It is fitting that his appearance feels right even though Yona does not wear glamorous or luxurious clothes. Only wearing jeans and a simple blouse but very beautiful on the body of the woman.

'What's my name? You bastard, ' yona swore in his heart.

Yona wiped her tears rough. The woman looked at Regan in disbelief. Looks like Regan is really serious about her illness. 

"Do you really not know me?" yona asked in a hoarse voice, making everyone look at her and shake their heads.

Yona can't tell Regan any truth. Yona has to hold back until Regan remembers about the memories the man has forgotten himself.

Regan frowned her brows confused, not understanding the question Yona asked her.

"What do you mean?" ask Regan.

"No, I'm just asking if it's true that you don't know me. Though there are some famous products in Indonesia that make me their brand ambassador," explained Yona answered a nod by Regan.

The parents breathed a sigh of relief because Yona was able to hold herself back.

"My name, Yona Anantasha William," Yona replied, looking at Regan very closely.

William Yona Anantasyaya? Regan flinched, the man holding his chest that was beating very fast. Regan doesn't understand why her chest is beating so hard just because she heard Yona's name? Aren't there a lot of names that are cooler than the lady's name? Why does it feel like Regan's chest is beating this hard and her heart is warm.

Regan's tears suddenly trickled down, and Regan quickly wiped them away. Regan doesn't know what is now in her body until she can cry just from hearing the woman's name.
