Attempted Murder

"Yona Anantasya William, the youngest daughter of businessman Hendra William is a suspect in an attempted murder committed in her defense."

News spread widely throughout the country and became hot news that deserves to be peeled more detailed again. Many protested what investigators concluded in the case that ensnared Yona.

Anyone would behave the same if they were in Yona's position. Robbed by the person they wanted to help, and almost stabbed by a knife. Of course Yona chooses to find a way to save Regan. In fact, even if it wasn't Regan she would still do the same.

Isn't it funny, it was Yona's self-defense attempt. Investigators have also obtained information from Yona and one of the suspects who has been arrested. Their description is even the same and can be legally accounted for.

What's the matter? Why does it feel like someone is playing with the Yona case? Who is the mastermind behind the Yona robbery case so that there are other cases that they are not expected before.

Everyone knows, though, it was Yona's self-protection efforts to save Regan who was almost stabbed by a knife by the perpetrator named Nardi and ended with a crowbar hit on the head of the perpetrator that Yona did spontaneously because circumstance.

It feels very unlikely and unfair if Yona is potentially a suspect when she is just trying to defend herself and Regan. Does Yona have to let her future fiance get stabbed by a knife and let Regan's car along with their valuables be forcibly taken by the robbers?

So, should those affected by such calamities not fight back and be left to it? Is it better for those who die than to defend themselves?

The woman they told me about had just been allowed home by the doctor who treated her. Now the nurse assigned to care for Yona is releasing an infusion stuck in the woman's hand.

Shinta waited for her husband's arrival anxiously. From the balcony of Yona's nursery room, he saw many journalists and media crews who were apparently waiting for the moment when Yona came out of the hospital and interviewed her as a form of public curiosity medicine that until now had not received clarity from Yona or the woman's attorney.

"They're still outside?" ask Yona to her mommy.

Shinta nodded, it seemed like they waited for almost 24 hours down there because they did not get access to the hospital let alone go up to the fourth floor where Yona and Regan were treated.

After all, William's family had assigned the bodyguards in front of the fourth-floor elevator as well as on the emergency stairs there in anticipation of the undercover media crew and entering into Yona's ward.

Slowly, Yona approached the balcony. This time, the nervousness that ambushed him exceeded his nervousness when he was caught dating one of the French actors. Yona really felt fear in her heart.

The woman squeezed the knee-length dress she was wearing. Imagining that she will be named as a suspect for her self-defense efforts makes Yona very nervous.

"The media crew in any country is the same, they are very strong with their intentions," said Yona approved the mommy.

"It looks like, after we get you out of here and back home, you can't go out to see Regan" Shinta said, observing the situation.

Regan has been transferred to a larger hospital in downtown Bandung. And worse, Lili was consistent with her remark to not let Yona get close to her son again.

Yona looked at the overcast sky there, the same overcast atmosphere as her heart at the moment. Yona was very understanding, why Lili had changed her attitude to him. It was all because Lili loved Regan so much as their only child, their only child.

Yona was only self-conscious for the situation that was now happening. Yona won't make things worse by forcing her to meet Regan. The woman just prayed, so that Regan would always get along. After all, Septian as Regan's father always sends a message containing Regan's latest condition to Yona.

Only the picture Regan's father sent could treat Yona's disquiet to the man.

"Regan hasn't noticed Mom yet?" ask Yona to her mommy.

Shinta let out a long sigh, as if to signal to Yona that Regan's condition still remains the same as last time. Though the man's vital signs have stabilized, but I don't know why the man did not open his eyes and become a witness in the case that now surrounds Yona.

"We pray, Regan will soon come to her senses" replied Shinta stroking Yona's head.

They had already ordered everything for their engagement. Even all the decorations they will use are ready and just waiting for the day to be installed. So are the souvenirs and clothes that they will use in the engagement.

"It seems like this engagement will be completely void," exclaimed Yona smiling wryly.

"It's okay, honey, maybe God has other plans for you. Souvenirs can be saved for your event next time. So are the dresses and suits that we ordered Nadia," said Shinta to give encouragement to her daughter.

Next time? Will her love story and Regan continue if Lili becomes a hindrance because she thinks Yona is a problem in her son's life? Regan will certainly not oppose the mother who gave birth to her because of her love for Yona.

And again, Regan hasn't regained consciousness from her coma. Yona just waited for the man to wake up to finish everything that was happening to him. 

"The car is ready" said someone opening the door to Yona's nursery.

Hendra stood there, staring at his wife and daughter. The man approached the two women who were very valuable to him. Hendra asks their bodyguards to bring Yona's belongings into the car first.

"Bring things in the car first" Hendra said.

"Well sir," they answered carrying a bag of Yona's change of clothes during a two-day hospital stay.

Hendra and Shinta closed the access to the visitors who wanted to visit Yona. They both assume that Yona needs space and time to rest, rest her body and mind.

Plus, all the visitors will definitely ask the same thing about how it happened. All of that will certainly make Yona depressed and feel sad because she tells the events that are very important in her life repeatedly to different people.

"Let's go home, all the administration has taken care of Daddy" Hendra told his daughter.

They took Yona as they used to when Yona was a child.

"It's the first time we've joined hands like this after you've grown up" the parrot Hendra smiled gently at her daughter.

Although Hendra is very powerful to their children, but Hendra is still a father who is very dear to his children. Like most fathers, Hendra always loved his two children in his own way.

"Yes, Mommy's just waking up now," kekeh Shinta imagines her daughter who used to be only as tall as her stomach is now growing as tall as Yona and becoming a beautiful woman who is idolized by many despite having given up everything related to the world of modeling that is raising her name.

"Where if we go to the night market in Bandung square?" yona asked with a small laugh.

The three of them laughed in the elevator that would take them to the basement floor. The Bandung square night market is a night market that became Yona's favorite in his childhood. The night market is very crowded with various foods and also special games for small children.

Even Yona was lost in the market that night for following the angklung busker and cleverly Yona came to one of the police who always stood guard there to ask for help.

"Mommy didn't expect, when you were lost you could be as brave as asking the police there," Shinta said, recalling a childhood flash of Yona.

"As much as you are," said Yona rolled her eyes annoyed to hear her parents who always scramble claims about good things to Yona.

They laughed there, until the elevator they were riding had opened and they had reached the basement floor.

Shinta leads Yona into their car. Hendra and Shinta boarded another car that would first come out of the basement to outwit the reporters and the media who were waiting for their arrival.

As planned, Hendra came out of the basement with Shinta with him. Seeing the luxury car owned by the William family was suddenly the reporters and media crew ran around their car.

On the other hand, their family chauffeur took Yona out through the entrance with a tight guard of bodyguards that William's family had hired to escort Yona back to the main house.

"Are you sure no journalists and media crew are following us?" yona asked her family driver who had worked with them for a long time.

"Yes Non, you have given a strict escort for us," explained the family driver made Yona feel a tremendous relief in her heart.

The woman lowered her car glass a little, breathing the fresh air of Bandung City which two days he could not enjoy because he was in the hospital. The woman's view was focused on the LED screen beside the traffic light, where news emerged showing the case.

Apparently the case that befell Yona has seized the public's attention. That means the public will definitely have sympathy for Yona and Regan. Perhaps, it would be an advantage for Yona in her legal argument later to eliminate the accusation of the investigators to her because it is completely unfounded.

"Is the news already that viral, Mang?" ask Yona to the driver.

"Yes Non, everyone is talking about the case of Non Yona and Mas Regan. They feel sorry for Non Yona and Mas Regan" replied the Yona family driver.

Residents in the place where he lived, all talked about the news that was dragging the name of his employer's son. 

"Maybe this can benefit me later," Yona murmured to herself.

The car they were riding in had entered the main house area of the William family. There were a few guards there who were driving away the reporters who wanted to get in there.

Their car had successfully entered the main house of the William family with tight guard at the gate and also some who were assigned to split around their house.

Instead of overdoing it or something, William's family was just afraid that the media and journalists would come before Yona was ready to ask them questions.

Fearfully, there are some parties who deliberately ask questions that will later corner Yona.

Yona got out of the car after her driver opened the door for her. The woman looked ahead where several journalists were seen in front of the gate of their house even though they could not enter.

"See the car that took Yona AW into her house. The media crew here is still waiting for Yona AW to be willing to provide clarification on the case involving his name. All reports from my Majendra MNTI."

Someone came out of Yona's house, Yona's forehead contorted to see her legal authority being there.

"Have you come home?" Asked the man informally making Yona look at him confusedly.

Yona looked back, who knew the man was asking others questions. But there was no one there but him and the bodyguards in that place.

"You talk to me? With formal language?" yona asked in disbelief.

The man nodded, he handed Yona a piece of paper.

"I think you're good at reading a script like this when you're shooting an ad. So, memorize it and we clarify it" the lawyer told Yona.

"So soon, isn't it your job to take care of everything?" yona asked unexpectedly with the legal counsel she had hired for him.

"You want everyone to feel sorry for you or not? The family of the robber you hit on the head filed a lawsuit against you."

"Whataaa???" yona screeched with her eyes wide open.

How dare they file a lawsuit against Yona while Yona only makes an attempt at self-protection before the robber stabs Regan with the knife that the robber was carrying.

"We're suing them back," Yona replied excitedly making her lawyer shake her head.

"That's not the real way to fight" he said snorting.

Yona frowned, it felt like Yona was no stranger to the man's face. And also, the man's manner of speaking was very informal and looked very relaxed like he had known Yona for a very long time.

"You, who?" ask Yona curiously.

"Huh? You still sick? I'm the attorney who handled your case," the lawyer looked at Yona in confusion.

Yona. "That's not what I mean, what's your name?" asked Yona curiously.

"Ricki Stevano" she answered, leaving Yona's eyes perfectly wide.

"You're Uncle Stevan's son, aren't you?" peekik Yona did not expect to meet her distant cousin who she said opened an overseas advocate office.

"Just remember me huhh?" ricki's taunts made Yona pat her on the back and chuckle.

Suddenly a man jumped down from the wall next to William's house and ran towards Yona.

"Yona AW, are you really trying to kill a suspected robbery case that you should be a witness to the victim?" ask the reporter who broke in.

Yona covered her face with her hair now out. The guards immediately ran around Yona and drove the woman into the house.

"Yona, did you do it on purpose?" the reporter shouted despite the guards intercepting him.

"Every image, photograph or video that is recorded and distributed without permission will be prosecuted in court" Ricki said, giving the journalist an ultimatum as Yona's legal representative.
