My Sweet Lecturer
Regan, you hear me?

Bruckkk…

The bang was so loud that all the drivers around him immediately scattered to get out of the car. Helping the driver of a car that somehow hit an electric pole unexpectedly.

The road suddenly became jammed, the more inevitable. Some people immediately contact the ambulance because the condition of the driver now looks so sad. The blood from his head poured out profusely, even the bumper of the front of the car he was now driving into a formless dent again.

“Yona!” peekit Shinta's.

His mind became unreasonable to see the crowd in front of him there. Could it be Yona?

“Dad?” Shinta turned towards her husband. Their eyes met, exchanging answers with each other.

Hendra is accelerating his car. The man was worried not because it felt for now. Seeing Yona out of the house without using footwear alone has made his heart crumble dim as a father who is unable to give happiness to his daughter.

Could it be, if only Hendra and Shinta had not forced Yona back to Indonesia and betrothed her daughter to Regan it is likely that Yona would not have experienced the bitterness of life as it is today.

“Yona,” shouts Shinta out of her husband's car.

Feeling her name being called, Yona looked at her mother who was running towards the crowd through the rearview mirror.

Yona opened the car door immediately. “Mommy!” call Yona to look at her mommy there.

Not Yona, but the car in front of the car that was driven by Yona was lost control until it hit the power pole. Shinta shed her tears, she was so relieved to see Yona was fine.

“You okay?” shinta asks to check Yona's entire body, making sure her daughter is okay.

Shinta brought Yona into her arms. Seeing her daughter survived and not having a bad incident made Shinta feel relieved. Thankfully, at least God still saved Yona's life so as not to make things worse.

“Yona, why are you?” Hendra looked at his daughter.

“Pardon Yona, Daddy, Mommy. Yona just carried away the feelings until it makes you worry like now,” said Yona felt guilty for making both parents worried.

“Let Mommy drive,” said Shinta invites Yona to get in her car again.

The two women of one generation of another gene directly brought Yona's car to go to Kusuma Hospital where Regan was treated. Behind him, Hendra followed his wife and daughter with various thoughts in mind.

As a father, Hendra certainly did not want his daughter to continue to be confined in a stifling life every day. One year already, his daughter was constantly bathed in tears which for some reason never dried despite pouring out whenever the owner of those beautiful eyes remembered the figure of the man she loved so much.

“What happened, Yona?” shinta asked Yona.

Yona looked at her mommy. “Yona is just a nightmare, Mommy,” said Yona was still trying to smile in front of her mommy.

Yona knew her parents were as worried as Yona. They are parents who always understand and understand how their children feel even though sometimes they impose a will if it is judged best for their children.

“You almost killed your parents, don't ever do it again, honey,” Shinta said stroking Yona's face, wiping the sweat still clearly on Yona's forehead.

Inevitably Yona just nodded in response to her mommy words. Yona has to take responsibility for everything that has happened. In fact, even for this tragedy, Yona contributed to it.

Many times Yona blames herself for causing all this chaos. But many times also Yona brushed it off, trying to eliminate the burden for a single moment.

“Mommy, has Mommy ever felt like someone useless at all?” yona asked with a straight forward look.

A sigh escaped from Shinta's mouth. “Mommy will probably think the same as Yona. But baby, everything that has happened has been outlined by God. You do not need to feel guilty or responsible for everything,” explained Shinta gave understanding to her daughter.

The two of them get off the car, Yona turns to look at Shinta and Hendra.

“You just go home, Yona will stay at the hospital,” explains Yona.

Shinta nodded and smiled. The woman took off her footwear, putting it in front of Yona's soles.

“Wear, you forgot to bring footwear, Darling.” Shinta stroked the top of her daughter's head.

“You didn't bring your phone too?” hendra asked Yona to remind her that she didn't even have her phone with her.

The woman grimaced, how scared she was after getting the terrible dream that came in her sleep. Not carrying footwear and not carrying a cell phone, she only focuses on one thing, meeting Regan immediately even though Yona knows that she will not be allowed to approach Regan.

“Let's let your sister deliver your phone here,” Shinta said giving understanding to Yona.

Yona nodded, the woman hugged her mommy at a glance and thanked her for having such good parents as Shinta and Hendra.

“Yona, don't cry anymore, hm?” Hendra looked at his daughter gently.

“Hm, Yona knows,” replied Yona blinked her eyes.

Both of Yona's parents stared at Yona's departure with various thoughts in mind.

“I hope this storm will pass soon,” muttered Hendra staring at the back of his daughter who is now away.

Unbeknownst to them, Yona placed her hand on her chest, trying to neutralize her chest that felt tight.

“How could daddy ask Yona not to cry?” lirih Yona seemed to have no spirit to live.

Yona will only stop crying when Regan has regained consciousness. Yona will not forgive herself if the man gives up.

Yona's steps came to a halt, in front of her stood Doctor Gustin Justavo. The man did the same. They look at each other.

“You drink coffee?” hail Doctor Gustin Justavo to Yona.

“By, but can Doctor Gustin accompany me to Regan's room for a moment?” yona asked, wanting to ask Regan the situation to her doctor.

“Of course,” replied Doctor Gustin Justavo nodding.

The two of them walked together towards Regan's nursery. Doctor Gustin Justavo turned to look at Yona, the man exhaled violently when he saw that Yona's eyes were lifeless.

“When is it likely that he will come to his senses again, Doctor?” ask Yona.

Now they have entered Regan's ward, but they stand in front of the glass door, becoming the divider of the patient's room with the patient's family room waiting for him. There's a bed to rest in there. Everything is exclusive, they are classified as a family list of hospital foundation owners.

“Everything depends on Regan herself, you know right. This operation is only to deal with the damage to Regan's head, not to make him aware of his coma,” explains Dr. Gustin Justavo.

“What according to Doctor Gustin, a week? A month? Two months? Three months? Or another year?” yona looked at Doctor Gustin Justavo.

Dr. Gustin Justavo smiled.

“You believe the power of love can be the most real miracle God has given his people?” Now it was Doctor Gustin's turn to look at Yona.

The man stared at Regan's figure who was still lying helplessly on his bed.

“I proved it myself, I united with a woman whose life could not even be sustained back then. God gave his miracle, God gave my wife the opportunity to still be able to breathe her breath until now. Love, be strong you to endure,” Doctor Gustin Justavo told Yona.

Yona seemed to enjoy the explanation of Doctor Gustin Justavo, himself as if getting enlightenment from the man.

“Trust me, there Regan is struggling to return with you and her family,” said Doctor Gustin Justavo gave confidence to Yona.

“Doctor, can I see your wife?” Somehow Yona wanted to meet with the wife of Doctor Gustin Justavo, wanted to hear the woman's testimony about the power of love that Yona herself was still not sure was true.

“Sometimes I will ask him to meet you,” replied Doctor Gustin Justavo to put on a smile.

Doctor Gustin Justavo has to make sure that Yona will not spread what he saw when he meets his wife. The struggle of Gustin Justavo and Olivia to come to Indonesia to get the blessing of his wife's parents is not easy.

She has to convince Olivia's family that Dr. Gustin Justavo loves Olivia.

“So drink the coffee?” doctor Gustin asked to remind Yona of his offer a few minutes ago.

“So, as long as it is not a cyanide mixed coffee,” replied Yona mumbled her smile.

The woman turned her head once again to make sure Regan would be fine when she left.

*

Three weeks into Yona's wait, there was no sign that Regan would open her eyes. Every day, Yona stays there to accompany Regan alternately with Lili and Septian on guard every night.

Now Yona reads a novel, reading it aloud as if she were giving Regan a bedtime story.

A romance novel that tells that the woman gets a heart donor from the newlyweds to bring her in an unexpected life conflict.

“Regan, I want to get married on a cruise ship. I don't want the Miami route. I want us to go around Russia, you want to?” yona asked Regan to speak.

Yona muttered until drowsiness ambushed her. The woman fell asleep on the chair with her hands hugging Regan's stomach. His breathing rose and fell, indicating that the woman had reached her dreamland.

Regan's forehead creased involuntarily, now the man saw a clairvoyant figure he had met in Bath, England.

“Sir, you still remember me?” regan asked to chase after the man.

Regan shouted loudly enough to call the fortune teller she met on the Pulteney Bridge.

The man disappeared suddenly, leaving Regan confused. The man's body trembled until he woke Yona who was asleep beside him.

Yona's eyes were wide. “Regan? Regan what happened?” yona was so panicked.

Yona pressed the emergency button near Regan's bed.

“Please come here soon!” yona said she could not cover up her ambushing worries.

Regan's body trembled, cold sweat pouring from the man's forehead. Yona cries, holding Regan's hand.

“Regan, why are you? Don't freak me out, Regan,” isak Yona freaked out.

Not long after the medics entered Regan's room. Yona retreated backwards, letting the medics check on Regan's body first.

“Vital signs are normal,” said Doctor Irawan check the condition of Regan's body.

Now they started to highlight Regan's eye bead, there was movement in the man's eye bead.

“There was a response,” said Doctor Irawan with binary eyes happy.

“Doctor, what happened?” ask Yona curiously.

“This is good news, Regan's body is showing good progress,” she explained smiling.

The man then asked the nurse to immediately inject the liquid he had prescribed into Regan's infusion.

“Please yourself, seizures often occur in comatose people. There is nothing to worry about,” said Doctor Irawan smiling.

He's checked on Regan's body, there's nothing to worry about.

“Then we excuse you, Yona,” says goodbye to Yona.

Yona's eyes widen, Regan's hands move weakly but Yona can still see.

“Doctor Irawan, Regan's hand moves,” call Yona before Doctor Irawan comes out of Regan's ward.

Doctor Irawan immediately turned around, the man approached the bed and did a re-examination.

Regan's eyes narrowed as the flashlight that Doctor Irawan shone his eyes.

“Regan, can you hear my voice?” ask Doctor Irawan.

Slowly, Regan opened her eyes that felt so heavy. Regan tried several times to open it, but failed again.

“Regan, you hear me?”

Isn't that Yona's voice? Regan knows the voice of her lover. The woman he always dreamed of despite being unconscious. Yona always accompanies Regan in every long sleep that does not know when it will end.

“Regan? Open your eyes,” Oozed Yona when Doctor Irawan's speech did not get any response from Regan.

“Prepare the examination room,” Doctor Irawan told the medical team who were on duty with him.

“Good, Doctor,” answered them compactly, immediately out of Regan's room to prepare all the examination equipment for Regan.

Doctor Irawan is back for a checkup. Starting from touching the soles of Regan's feet to her feet tiptoed slowly.

“It looks like this is good news for everyone's long wait,” said Doctor Irawan was unable to cover happiness.

For a year he was Regan's personal doctor, knowing the entire family. Of course, the relationship between the two of them became very close even though they had never been considerate before.

Yona soon contacts Regan's parents and her parents, sharing happy news that she can't keep alone.

“Brother Regan, did you hear my voice? If you hear it please move your feet or hands,” ask Doctor Irawan to give instructions to Regan.

Regan's hand moved weakly, and it made Yona strangle happy. The woman immediately approached Regan.

“Regan, did you hear my voice?” lirih Yona with a hoarse voice.

Regan moved her hand. Of course I know your voice very well, even from a distance I can already hear your footsteps, Yona.

“Regan, thank you for giving me new hope with the progress you are now showing us,” isak Yona, grabbing Regan's hand and kissing her.

The hand that was previously very strong, now looks so weak. Even Regan can only answer Yona's questions by moving her hands and feet.

“Regan, open your eyes. Now you're bald,” Yona's shrill with her gelatinous riddles.

Hoping for the ambiguous sentence that came out of her mouth made Regan eagerly open her eyes only to see how her face was now.
