Visitation

By lunchtime, Kalea's nursery had turned into a shelter. Mama, Papa, Bi Imah and Karel came together and immediately scrambled to take the position of sitting closest to the bed of Kalea.

Mother who from morning had been part of the ration accompanying Kalea also relented. The woman stepped aside slightly and chose to sit on the sofa together with Gavin.

"The Kalea family is cool, yes." Whisper Mother while staring in awe at the figure of Kalea's parents who were so compact comforting the princess who was sick.

Not only Kalea parents, Mommy is also made to be amazed at the figure of Karel who is willing to come with a pillow face and only wear T-shirts and shorts on the knees and flip-flops. Meanwhile, next to her, Gavin sees Mother smiling. The woman seemed to want to laugh, but may still be detained because she is not used to it.

"Laughter, Bun. They're both weird about it." Said Gavin who made Mommy turn towards him.

"Luckily, yes, Kalea can have a friend like Karel."

Gavin nodded his head. Although she was often given headaches with Karel's annoying behavior, she could not deny that Karel's presence in Kalea's life was a gift. Gavin was grateful that God would kindly send the boy to be at Kalea's side.

After everyone had finished lunch, the doctor appealed to some people to leave the treatment room so that Kalea could rest after taking the medicine.

At first, Gavin had to go through a fight with Karel first to determine who would stay and accompany Kalea to take a nap.

Until finally, Gavin was forced to give in because Kalea herself asked Karel to stay.

With an unwilling heart, Gavi dragged his steps out of Kalea's nursery, following another family member who had already left the room fifteen minutes ago.

Meanwhile, inside the room, Karel cheered happily for only a second after Gavin's figure disappeared behind the door. He feels winning. Felt flying over the clouds because Kalea preferred herself over Gavin.

"Gavin didn't sleep last night because he had to take care of me, so I told him to come out first so he could rest. You see, if he's in here, he's not going to sleep and he's busy doing what I need."

Karel looked at Kalea in disbelief. So, he's actually being sacrificed? Kalea purposely told him to come here in place of Gavin's duty as a servant, right?
