In the office, Gavin had spent his energy getting angry since morning. There were several projects that did not comply with the initial agreement and he was forced to protest at employees in the related divisions. Though the project is one step to bring their television station growing and not too carried away with the flow of other television stations. Gavin has always wanted their television station to maintain its trademark.

"I don't want to invite these fools to appear on our show." He said firmly to a female employee who is a representative of the creative team.

Adhisty, a female employee in a black uniform with the logo of the television station in her pocket, looked at Gavin for a moment and then sighed heavily. "But the whole team has it all set up, sir. The guest star has been contacted and we have agreed on the fee we will give." Adhisty said he was still trying to negotiate with his boss.

"I said no, Dais." Gavin. "I don't want the image of our television station to be so ugly just because it invites stupid people like them." Gavin pointed at the screen of the tablet that Adhisty handed over. On the screen it looks a couple who are being a hot conversation netizens because their behavior is somewhat absurd and annoying.

Gavin knew other television stations were indeed vying to bring them in as guest stars. Because indeed today television stations only attach importance to the rating by inviting people who are going viral without caring about what moral values they can offer to the community.

As someone who sparked the slogan of educating through television broadcasts, Gavin certainly did not want the television station owned by his family was carried away and lost his identity just to reap profits that are not how much.

"Cancel, Dhis. I won't sign the consent file." Gavin remained firm on his stance.

"But, Sir-"

"Cancel, or your employment contract at this company that I cancel." Threaten Gavin while staring intently at Adhisty.

Faced with these choices, Adhisty is certainly confused. Both are equally heavy. Cancelling an event that has been designed in such a way and involves the hard work of many parties is not something that is easy to do. But Adhisty was also unwilling to risk his own work.

So, Adhisty immediately tidied up the filings scattered on Gavin's desk and immediately took him away from Gavin's room.

After Adhisty's departure, Gavin threw his back into the chair and began massaging the base of his nose. His head felt heavy and was about to explode. Just a few days left employees under his leadership have acted at will. What if Gavin is actually kicked out of the company and no longer has the authority to maintain the principles that have been applied in this company?

Unfinished the mess enveloped Gavin's heart and head, the door in his study was knocked back. Shortly after, a short-haired woman figure of shoulder to shoulder in casual clothes walked towards her while putting on a sweet smile of honey.

"Hi, Vin." Greet that woman.

Gavin did not return the woman's smile because he knew it was just a fake smile that had been used to him. Gavin straightened up, looking at the woman in front of him without interest while waiting for what else the woman would say next.

"Gue just wants to give you a wedding gift. Sorry because I can't come on your wedding day, you know I'm bussy, right?" she said, putting a white envelope on Gavin's desk.

Gavin just glanced at the envelope with no interest. Then looked back at the woman. "Thank you for the good intentions, but I don't need anything from you."

This woman before him should be offended by what Gavin said. But instead of getting angry and raging, the woman laughs out loud, making Gavin even more fed up with her completely exact attitude of snake queen Medusa.

Claretta is the cousin of Gavin, the second daughter of Om Arya who has always hated her. Gavin and Claretta's relationship has never gotten along even since they were toddlers and the facts about Gavin's origins have not been revealed to the rest of the family.

"Gue never asked to be accepted as a member of the Cakraditya family." Gavin said with emotions that started to slowly rise. He had always become many times more sensitive when someone alluded about the Cakraditya family and his unclear status.

"Oh, huh?" claretta asked with a mocking smile. "But you are married to the only daughter of the Pradipta family. Isn't that one of your efforts to maintain your position in the Cakraditya family?" claretta's successful insinuation made Gavin harden the muscles around his neck.

"Gue married Kalea because I wanted to."

"Poor." Tukas Claretta's. His smile was gone. The look in his eyes now pierced sharply right into Gavin's dark bead. "We all know how greedy and bastard lo and bokap lo it."

"The mistake that Papa made was not my responsibility at all." Ketus Gavin's. Actually, it took him years to bring it up at this point. In the past, every time he heard any hurtful sentence from Claretta and Om Arya, Gavin would just accept it and start blaming himself. But now, he had become even braver to fight back because there were two women he had to protect.

"Basic doesn't know himself." Ejek Claretta again. "Lo shouldn't have come into Aunt Pearl's life, bastard." Claretta deliberately emphasized the word illegitimate child to ignite Gavin's emotions.

And it worked.

Gavin clenched both his hands. His jaw hardened and his teeth began to flutter in his mouth. There were so many sentences he wanted to spit out right in front of Claretta's face. But suddenly she loses courage when Claretta opens her mouth again and mentions one name Gavin never expected.

"Irina." i." Claretta. The woman stared fixedly at Gavin to check the change in expression on her face. Then a look of disdain rose as he found Gavin's face turning tense and slowly turning pale.

"What would happen if your wife found out about Irina?"

"Don't touch Kalea!" Gavin said that with his lips almost tightly clenched. He stared at Claretta. Wondering where the woman knew about Irina and began to suspect that maybe Claretta was the mastermind of all the terror that befell Irina and the perpetrator of the gift to Kalea at that time.

"Wow..just relax, Vin." Claretta laughed with satisfaction at Gavin's response. She thought Gavin would tell her not to bother Irina. Butwhat? The man told him not to disturb Kalea? Did Gavin really fall in love with the woman he married just to maintain his position in the Cakraditya family?

If true, then this was interesting news that he should immediately share with his father. Anybody knows, armed with this fact, they could have looked for a better way to remove Gavin from his position.

And so, after a satisfied laugh, Claretta breezed away leaving Gavin's room. He did not bring back the envelope he had brought. Claretta really doesn't care what Gavin does about the envelope.

Meanwhile, in his chair, Gavin began to be overwhelmed with innumerable misgivings. What if Claretta and Om Arya mess with Kalea and Irina?
