Amaris Cafe: Part Two

As the sun slowly descended on the west side, Kalea rose from the back porch seat. Intended to return to his room to relax because his waist began to feel sore.

However, his movements came to a halt when the phone he had placed on the table suddenly lit up, displaying a single incoming message notification from an unceremonied number.

Kalea snatched her phone, and immediately opened the message to find out what it contained and who the owner of the unknown number was.

Hello, Kalea. It's Irina. Sorry to interrupt your time, but can we meet for a minute? Someone wants me to talk to you.

That's how the message reads.

Kalea's feelings that had originally improved thanks to the presence of Karel and the positive sentences that the man said, in an instant turned gray with just one message sent by Irina.

And supposedly, Kalea just ignored the message if she did not want her feelings to get hurt, instead moving impulsively typing a reply message for the woman.

Where's the.

That's all he said. Because he doesn't want to talk. The sooner he met Irina seemed to be the better. So that he can also listen to the explanation from Irina's side, not just from Gavin's point of view.

Not until one minute, a reply from Irina appeared. Kalea opened it immediately.

Amaris Cafes. I'm here now, if you want, you can come right away.

Amaris Cafes. Why else would someone ask her to meet at that place. Was that place really created to be a place for her to encounter painful things in life?

Okay, I'm going there now.

After sending a reply, he immediately entered the house, ignoring Karel who was teasing Bi Imah while the woman was preparing the ingredients to cook the dinner menu.

"Heh, where are you going?!" exclaimed Karel who saw Kalea walking straight into the front room.

Karel hurriedly ran after Kalea before the woman got further away. Immediately blocked Kalea's arm when the woman was about to break into the living room.

"Where are you going?" ask him again. Reversing Kalea's body so that she could look straight at the woman's bead.

"I'm gonna go out for a second, Rel."

"Iye, where to?" reiterate Karel with the rest of the patience.

"You'll see Irina for a second, have a chat." Kalea tried to remain calm and hide her tight anxiety from Karel.

"Where?"

"Rel,"

"Where, Kal?" sue Karel. "Where do you meet, let me anterin."

"I'm alone,"

"Lo's pregnant young." Sela Karel's. "Where do you meet Irina, I'm the anterine. If you don't want me to anterin, you don't have to go." Final Karel, no longer willing to accept rejection from Kalea.

"Gavin's been taking your nitipin on me while he's working, so don't make me unable to live up to his trust. Or he won't let me take care of you again." Her baby, deliberately carrying the name Gavin because usually Kalea will be more according to when the name of her husband was called.

And sure enough, after that, Kalea let out a long sigh before mentioning the place where she would meet with Irina.

"Amaris Cafe, please anterin me there."

Karel nodded, holding Kalea and then they walked together.

...****************...

"Gue come inside, it's okay, I ordered a separate table."

Kalea shook her head slowly. "You just wait here, I'll just be a minute."

Kalea did not give Karel the opportunity to negotiate further and got out of the car and walked towards the entrance of the cafe.

From the entrance, Kalea could already see the figure of Irina sitting on the corner bench, with the position facing the door and the woman's view was thrown away towards the street through a large glass window.

After taking a slow breath to help her ease the anxiety a little, Kalea pushed the glass door and walked into the cafe.

Just as he entered the cafe, the atmosphere around him was already uncomfortable. Especially when Irina turned her head and their gazes met. It was like there had just been dozens of sharp knives being thrown out simultaneously, right about his heart and now making him instantly dying.

The steps that Kalea took seemed dragged, painstakingly carried until now the woman managed to stand beside the table, still nailing to Irina.

"Please sit down," Irina pointed at the chair opposite her.

Kalea took a sitting position with a fixed gaze fixed on Irina's gray bead.

"What are you talking about?" todong Kalea instantly, did not want to waste any longer because his feelings were really uncomfortable now.

"On Gavin,"

Kalea squeezed both her hands that were on top of her lap. The tightness again filled his chest, even just by hearing the name Gavin called by Irina.

"He why?" even so, Kalea was still trying to remain calm. Not wanting to make Irina be able to see how fragile she was right now.

"I'm sure you know now about my relationship with Gavin,"

"Just get to the point, don't talk." Kalea Sela. Unknowingly, his tone of voice slightly raised. Then he took a deep breath to restore his calm.

"I intend to end our relationship, because yes. But ... " Irina gave a pause, only to peek at her bag placed on the side chair then fell silent for quite a long time before pulling something from there.

Kalea's body felt frozen when Irina's hand carried the body temperature thermometer and placed it on the table. There are obviously two red lines there, which signifies that whoever owns the thing, is positively pregnant right now.

"I can't let go of Gavin, Kal. Because in my stomach right now .. there's our son."

Kalea's eyes warmed up, her chest tightened and her throat suddenly choked. There were so many curses he was about to cast, but none of them could come out.

"Why did you tell me about this?"

"Because you deserve to know. So that you can decide, to keep your marriage with Gavin, or let him take responsibility for my son."

Kalea fell silent. Truly speechless and can only be fixated on a test pack on the table.

Wh why? Why is his life so complicated? When he just wanted to last a little longer with Gavin for the sake of the child in his stomach, why did God seem not to allow him to do that, by presenting another baby in Irina's stomach.

If it's like this? How should kalea? She really doesn't want her child to be born without a father, but ...

"I think that's all you need to know. Now, it's time you think about what steps you should take, Kal. Be wise, Kal. For the good of us together."

Then, after saying that annoying sentence, Irina got up from her seat. The woman then walked over to Kalea, bowing her head toward Kalea, only to whisper something that worked to make Kalea's emotions rise.

"If I were you, I wouldn't think twice about divorcing Gavin."

Then the woman walked away. Leaving Kalea with a faint heart.
