Thanks to Karel's willingness to accompany Kalea, Gavin was able to sleep for at least five hours before finally waking up because his phone kept ringing aloud.
When she first opened her eyes, she saw that Karel was asleep in a chair with her head drooping on the patient's bed. While Kalea was still asleep in her bed with one hand resting peacefully on the head of Karel.
After gathering all of his consciousness, Gavin grabbed the phone that had fallen on the floor and was still barking to be given that attention. One of his eyebrows is raised when he finds Gitta's name, the secretary in his office calls.
Not wanting the noise generated by the ringing of his cell phone to disturb Karel and Kalea's sleep, Gavin immediately shifted the green log and stuck the flat object to the ear while walking out of the room.
Gavin sat himself in the front seat, waiting for Gitta to speak while gently rubbing his face several times to draw some consciousness that still did not want to return.
"Hello, Mr Gavin?" greet Gitta from across.
"To the point, Git. What's up?" todong Gavin's. He is the most lazy to talk.
"Sorry to interrupt the timing, sir. I just want to say a few things about the last project we're working on. With a heavy heart, I have to say that the project was forced to be postponed for a while because there were problems that arise."
Gavin straightened his back after Gitta reached the end of the sentence. "What problem?" tanyanya. Because at first, their last project has been handled well and there are no problems at all.
"I can't explain in detail over the phone, sir. If you're pleased, I'll explain to you directly at the office."
"You know I'm taking my leave again, Git. My wife is still hospitalized."
"I know, Sir. But this matter is quite serious, and we should discuss it with the related team."
Gavin rubbed his face rough then let out a long sigh before getting up from the chair. He thought for a while, considering which risk was greater between leaving the project for a while or leaving Kalea to take care of the problems in the project.
Then, after much deliberation, Gavin finally decided to come to the office and examine what problem Gitta really meant.
"Okay, I'm going to the office. But I need to make sure my wife's there to take care of."
"Good, Sir. I'm waiting for Father."
Phone disconnected. Gavin moved quickly to dial the number of Mommy even though he was hesitant to bother the woman again.
The first attempt failed. Mother did not pick up her phone. Gavin tried again and again. Until finally the phone was connected at the seventh trial.
"Hello, Vin? Sorry, Mommy was again in the kitchen making breakfast for Papa. What's up, honey?" greet Mother with a voice that sounds panicked.
"Gavin wants to ask Mother for help."
"What do you want, son?"
"Please take care of Kalea. Gavin has to go to the office to take care of a few things. It won't be long, Gavin don't try until the afternoon."
"Can, baby. Later Mommy to the hospital all Papa go to work, yes."
"Yes, Bun. Thanks."
"Together, baby."
Gavin hangs up the phone and immediately re-hits his phone. He walked inside Kalea's ward, and was immediately greeted by a questionable gaze from Karel as soon as he opened the door.
"Where are you from?" asked Karel in a hoarse voice. The young man's eyes looked faint and slightly reddened.
"Let's pick up the phone." Answer Gavin. He glanced at Kalea, and it turned out that the woman was still sleeping.
"Rel," called out to him with a gaze still fixed on Kalea.
"What?" karel was a bit fierce. To be honest, he was still sleepy, so he hoped Gavin would immediately make his point without much ado.
"Can I drop Kalea for a second? I had to go to the office because there was a little problem. My mother is again on the way here, so while my Mother has not arrived, please take care of Kalea first. Can you?"
"Can." Karel answered steadily. "No need to take care of Kalea." Reciprocity.
"Yes, there's a bath hunt. You can't go to the office in a state of full-eyed so, right?"
If the situation wasn't serious and he wasn't in a hurry, Gavin would have thrown the sandals he was currently wearing to Karel's face. But since he had to hurry, Gavin said Karel and went straight to the bathroom to clean up.
...****************...
As he opened his eyes, Kalea did not discover Gavin's whereabouts. Instead, she sees Karel is handsome in a new suit (which she clearly knows belongs to Gavin). The man was sitting with a hen on the sofa while chewing apples and their skin. His eyes focused on the television screen that featured the cartoon series.
"What time is it?" ask Kalea while sitting herself down.
Karel turned his head, glanced at the clock on his left wrist then said, "Half ten." With half full mouth.
"It was really noon. How did you not wake me up?"
"Correct, make sleepurin lo aja I difficult, have to sing a dozen songs until my voice is hoarse. Why don't I wake you up?" as usual, Karel always responded to a simple question with a sewot. No wonder, the character is already in such a setting.
"Ngomel has done his job." Kalea grousers with lips that are almost tightly clenched.
Actually Karel heard clearly what Kalea said, but he chose to pretend not to listen so that they would not engage in insignificant debates. After all, her voice was completely exhausted after singing dozens of songs for Kalea last night. So, he was willing to save this golden sound so that it could be used for quite a long time.
"Rel,"
Karel's just beating. His eyes refocused on the screen and his mouth was busy chewing the remaining half of the apple.
"Gavin where to?"
"Work." Karel Sahut fast.
Kalea frowned. Work? Isn't Gavin on leave? And why was the man not pleased with him?
"Not to think anything weird." It was Sela Karel who smelled suspicious gestures from Kalea. If it had been quiet with a blank look and a frown that way, Kalea would have been overthinking.
"So morning he received a call from the office, he said there was a problem to be solved, so he went to the office now." Karel tried to explain as necessary. At least so that Kalea does not think.
"Good thing last night he had a chance to sleep." Kalea breathed a sigh of relief.
"Thank me." Chirp Karel with pride.
Kalea snorted bitterly, but then kept nodding her head. Because after all, Karel has indeed contributed to this.
"Lo's going to the bathroom, isn't he? Let me help you." Bidar Karel after finishing his last bite on an apple. After wiping his hand using the tissue available on the table, he walked over to Kalea. "Or do you need something? Wanna drink? Eaten? The nyemil? Kinderjoy you still have six in the fridge, will I take it?"
Kalea shook her head slowly hearing Karel who was a parrot-like sting. Well, come to think of it, the nickname parrot is more precisely pinned to Karel, not him.
"I'm gonna have a drink, thirsty."
Karel nodded, then he swiftly poured water into the glass and thrust it towards Kalea.
Kalea greeted the glass with pleasure and immediately downed the contents until the toilet. After that, he returned the empty glass to Karel.
"Thank you, Karel."
"Together."
The new carrel will put the glass back on the nightstand when the shade catches a knock on the door. He stared at Kalea for a while before the two of them simultaneously turned their heads towards the door.
"Who?" muttered.
