If there is anything stranger than having Mama chat with succulents placed near the glass window of her room, it might be the scene that Kalea is currently witnessing. Where the two people who had always been involved in the cold war were suddenly sitting side by side on the floor of the living room, the, cool playing video games together while occasionally throwing a light fist into each other's shoulders accompanied by crunchy stiffness.
From where he stood now, Kalea was still unable to digest the situation that was in front of her eyes. For a moment he thought it might be a dream, but when he pinched his own cheek, it hurt and he realized that the sight before his eyes was a reality. Which probably won't happen again in a long time.
"Ma," call Kalea quietly to Mama who is busy moving the pepper squid from the frying pan to the big plate on the dining table.
"What?" Mama replied in a slightly fierce tone. Because if I can be honest, he felt annoyed at his daughter because from earlier absolutely did not help him cook and instead was busy picking the freshly finished fried bakwan lifted from the frying pan and devoured it until the ludes were not left alone.
Hearing the sound of Mama's voice, Kalea turned her head. Poking at his mother while muttering silently before finally blurting out the process. "So usually dong answer, do not have to rent it." Mama replied with a stern look.
"Why?" ask Mama again. This time it was entirely devoted to Kalea whose eyes were busily staring back at Gavin and Karel.
"That's two human beings really get along? What ramblings?" Kalea still didn't take her eyes off, so she wouldn't know that right now Mama was smiling so brightly before she finally followed her eyes on Karel and Gavin with her arms folded in front of her chest.
"The Power of Kalea Dimitria." Mama's silent speech made Kalea turn with a frown on her forehead.
"Apaansih the power, the power. Said I was a superhero, got all the power." Kalea sewot. He did not think why Mama could say something so absurd.
"Well, I don't believe." Reply Mama, no less sewot. "They can still get along so because Mama used to say that you like the middle cry of the mallem just because they see them often fight."
"Ma? Seriously? Must that be such a story to them? Why don't you tell me I like being Jeno's girlfriend NCT?" pissed Kalea. Really, all the absurd behavior that he had been doing was actually passed down from Mama. But, it doesn't have to get this far, does it? Why did Mama have to leak too much to Karel and Gavin, which is a disgrace from her own daughter who should be kept as much as possible.
"That's Mama's a story too." Mama said lightly.
Hearing that, Kalea could only gawk. Well, that means he has no more secrets now. God fucking. Means that as long as he goes on a road with Gavin or Karel, the two people both already know that he can be so crazy while admiring the idols. Though all this time, Karel knew only to the extent that he liked Jeno NCT and his hobby of collecting various things that smelled with the man and other members of his group. The man never knew that he even liked being Jeno's girlfriend, because for Kalea it was embarrassing. As for Gavin, the man had absolutely no idea that he liked KPop.
"Rather than you ranting indistinctly, mending this antherin to them." Mama thrust a plate of watermelon that red blush and look tempting. It's perfect because it's hot outside.
Although actually ogah-ogahan, Kalea still received the plate. He mummified for a while, still protesting the behavior of Mama who casually dismantled her disgrace. It was only after he was satisfied to mumble, that Kalea stepped into the living room.
Just as he reached the sofa and was about to put a plate of watermelon on the table behind Gavin and Karel, he was startled by Karel's sudden echoing cry, he jumped and almost dropped the plate in his hand.
"Ah, asshole!" karel exclaimed while glancing cynically at Gavin.
The glimpsed one just shrugged casually, then chuckled as Karel began to babble at a pace equivalent to that of a top-class rapper.
"This is home as if a lot of demitnya deh. Hiiii, serem ah." Kalea rubbed her goosebumps, then hurriedly turned around. He intended to run away from there because it felt like he could no longer see the strange sight.
But just as his body turned around and had yet to make a step, his movements came to a halt as Gavin called out his name in such a bright voice.
When he turned his head, he found Gavin and Karel staring at him with sparkling eyes. There was a smile on their lips, adorning their radiant faces, as bright as the sun out there that was half-empty.
"here." Gavin patted the empty space next to him, and as he had been commanded, Karel practically shifted his body to create a wider space.
"Buruan, ah! Bengong mulu lo work!" sewot Carrel.
So with gontai steps, Kalea actually walked closer. He was silent for a while in front of the two people, making the two have to raise their heads so that their views can meet.
Kalea flinched as her hand was suddenly pulled by Karel. He staggered, his body almost toppled over in a completely uncool style if only Gavin's big hands did not deftly catch his back and help him sit comfortably in their midst.
"Sit here, I'm the same Gavin wants to play a game, you're the judge." Cerocos Karel even when Kalea still could not calm herself from the shock because her hand was pulled suddenly.
"What does winning get?" gavin asked, making Kalea look over.
"There is a chance to walk with Kalea all day. Okay well? Deal!" Karel said with an excited spirit. Gavin also did not lose his spirit when their hands shook each other. Then the two people started playing video games again as if they did not care about the existence of Kalea there.
When he realized that he was being made into betting material by two adult men on his right-hand side, Kalea was emotional. It was with all its irritability that it raised both hands, pulling Gavin and Karel's ears together that made them complain of pain.
"Aw! Break my ears!"
"Sick, Kal! Well duh, don't pull, uh!"
"BIARINU! WHO TOLD YOU TO MAKE ME A WAGER, HA?! YOU THINK I'M STUFF?!"
"Eeeeeehhh! Anjir's pain!"
"Kal, geez, Kal!"
In the kitchen, you can only shake your head with a smile that develops perfectly. It had been a long time since he had heard this kind of commotion at home along with Karel and Kalea growing up. Now, before Kalea gets married to Gavin and his only daughter is about to be taken away by her husband, Mama wants to hear more noise. At least so that when Kalea is no longer living here, there is still a trace of cheer from the boy left in this house for him to remember and feel every time he missed Kalea later.
