Searching for Truth

With a shrunken head, Gavin grabbed the key from the top of the nightstand and rushed straight to the garage. He did not even think of changing clothes or just chugging a drop of water to wet his throat that felt dry and hoarse.

Because now, the more important thing to do is to see Irina, to straighten out any misunderstandings that make Kalea falter again in her decision to give her a chance at least until their baby is born.

Gavin never slept with Irina, that's a fact. From the beginning of the relationship, he always kept himself from crossing the line. His body had already had an alarm that would automatically sound when he was nearing the boundary line.

Remember, the alarm would sound even before he actually reached the boundary line, so it was impossible for Gavin to be released. He was too drunk and unconscious. But the thing is, he never lets himself lose control of himself. Before getting drunk, he would immediately stop drinking and withdraw all the way from Irina in order to avoid unwanted things.

So, it feels strange that Irina suddenly claimed to have been pregnant with her child.

Gavin's mind is divided into two, between Irina deliberately lying to Kalea because she does not want him to break their relationship, or the woman is indeed pregnant, whether the child who.

Gavin rides his bike like crazy. Repeatedly running through red lights to almost cause an accident when another vehicle is speeding quite fast from the side.

The honking sound of some vehicles that he accidentally hit was no longer ignored. What was on his mind right now was how to get him to Irina's apartment to find out the truth.

After driving almost to his own life, Gavin finally arrived at Irina's apartment complex. He parked the original motorbike, then immediately boarded the elevator which fortunately came at the right time.

Samapi on the unit floor, Gavin runs down the hallway, only to be riveted long enough for Irina's door to open slightly.

With a very slow movement, Gavin approached the door. Sayup-sayup heard the sound of two people fighting each other. His tone is high, full of overflowing emotions.

Gavin stood stiff in place as the voices of the people fighting the argument began to be digested. And I swear by anything, Gavin hopes that what he hears is only a hallucination that arises because of the confusion that is surrounding him.

...****************...

"That's not Gavin's son!" shouted Taruna, right in front of Irina's face while pointing at the woman's flat stomach.

Over the past few days, he assigned Raga to follow wherever Irina went, to ensure that the woman would not do something that would destroy his plans.

But this afternoon, he was lost. Irina apparently knew that Raga was secretly following (whether or not) so that the woman turned her brain to get out of the apartment and met Kalea to launch her foul intentions.

"This is Gavin's son" said Irina, with a super calm tone. He was still adamant, trying to lie to himself by saying that what he was carrying was Gavin's son, when in fact he himself knew that the child was actually a boy of Taruna.

"Fuckers!" The cadets shouted in frustration. He rubbed his face rough, turning around for a while, only to return to look at Irina not long later.

"That's my son, Rin. My boy!" straighten out Taruna once again.

"This is Gavin's son, Na."

"Gavin never even touched you!" shouting Taruna. Really, this time, his patience might have already reached the threshold. She wanted to shut Irina's mouth so she could stop saying that she was Gavin's son.

"Where do you know that he never touched me?" challenge Irina, making Taruna feel even more upset and her head feels almost exploded.

"Lo ask me where do I know?" The cadet asked with a slanted smile that rose so horribly.

"Because you were first doing it the same way I was that night! Lo bled, that means Gavin has never touched you before."

"Bloody isn't necessarily the first time for me, Na."

"Rin!" snapped Taruna. He might have let out even more screams, had his arm not suddenly been pulled back and a punch landed perfectly on his face causing him to fall to the floor.

"Gavin!" screeched Irina, not expecting Gavin to suddenly barge into her apartment.

"Fuck!" Gavin, who was currently on the body of the Cadet who was lying on the floor, had already clenched his fists again. One hand gripped tightly the collar of the Cadets, ready to beat the man all out.

But, instead of feeling afraid, Taruna instead showed a mocking smile, ignoring the blood dripping from the corner of her lips that was torn by a blow from Gavin.

"Duck, said lo? Not wrong? Isn't that a better fit for yourself?" the smile mocking Taruna became more and more, making Gavin growl with teeth grinding against each other.

"Why are you doing this the same as me?" asked Gavin, trying to dampen his emotions because at least he should know the underlying reason Taruna can do this to him.

"Because I want to know how it feels to lose people you love, Vin." The cadet answered casually.

"Vin, it's already." Irina tries to pull Gavin's arm away from Taruna, but Gavin brushes over her hand.

"You shut up first." His order. Irina shrieked, she immediately took a step back and could only helplessly watch the scheming smile of Taruna before the young man turned Gavin's body until now their position changed.

The two hands of the Midshipman clutched the collar of Gavin's shirt, his eyes staring intently.

"It's not even okay, Vin. Supposedly, you feel something more painful than this."

"What's wrong with me, motherfucker?!"

"Is it you?" Taruna pretended to think, pulled one hand and then tapped her index finger on her chin with her gaze still fixed towards Gavin.

"One of them is just one, Vin. For you are the flesh and blood of Jonathan Abdi Cakraditya. Oops, his Cakraditya should not be called yes, it is the name of your grandfather, and Jonathan is just his son-in-law. Well, from the beginning I was also surprised why Jonathan can dapetin name Cakraditya behind his name. Though you should not nyokap the hell dapetin that name?"

"No need to take my parents!" furious Gavin. He attempted to attack the Midshipman again, but in vain because his current position was extremely unfavorable.

"It's just that you're kayak gini because of your parents, moron." Whisper of the Midshipman, right in front of Gavin's face.

"If it wasn't for Jonathan the rancid bastard who acted out and harassed my family first, your life would have been safe." The gaze of the Taruna was piercing. In fact, the man also began using his thumb to press on one of the weakest points between Gavin's neck and collarbone to make him grimace in pain.

"Gue lost Dyandra to Jonathan, Vin. Because your bastard father does not want responsibility for the child conceived the same Dyandra."

Gavin still could not reply as the pressure exerted by Taruna's thumb grew stronger.

"Oh, you want to know who my son means? Okay, okay, I'll tell you." Taruna brought her face closer, then stopped right beside Gavin's ear and started whispering one name.

"Sierra." Then Taruna moved her face away.

"Yes, Sierra. The kid I told you was an adopted kid, it was Dyandra's real son just as much as you."

The pain that Gavin felt as a result of the pressure that Taruna gave increasingly became so, but thanks to such a strong push from within, Gavin managed to reverse their position again when he saw the Taruna a little off guard.

One blow was thrown, making the blood in the corner of the lips of the Cadets who had originally dried, now wet again.

"Don't digress," he growled. But again Taruna even chuckled.

"How about gelantur, anyway? I'm talking facts."

Seeing Gavin who was still silent, Taruna continued.

"Lo don't believe my words? Ask the same question. All of you ask how the story he can have a relationship with Dyandra, because I myself do not understand why my brother can have a relationship with a savage human like bokap lo."

Gavin's fist swayed again, making the Cadets close their eyes. But instead of receiving another blow to his face, Taruna instead found the fist thrusting to the side of his head, hitting the hard floor so as to injure Gavin's knuckles.

Gavin rose from the top of Taruna's body, glancing at Irina who could only be silent to watch the struggle between herself and Taruna. I don't know if the woman knows about the bullshit she told him, which is clear, Gavin has changed his purpose.

Now, she no longer needed to find out whose child was in Irina's stomach because she had already gotten the answer.

So, Gavin immediately turned his back and hurried to leave Irina's apartment.

"Bye, Gavin! Tell me if you've told a story!" taruna shouted as she waved her hand at Gavin, who had already disappeared behind the door.

"What does all this mean, Na?" asked Irina, who was apparently still blind about what had really happened.

The cadet did not reply, she instead waltzed away towards Irina's room, completely ignoring the screams of the woman who repeatedly called out her name.
