"Hello?"
Kalea fell silent as a female voice greeted from across the street, replacing the heavy voice Gavin should have heard once the phone was connected. The pacing movement that he had been doing automatically stopped along with the confusion that began to control him. So confused, Kalea had to keep the phone away from the ear just to make sure that he was not wrong to call people.
As his eyes stared at the phone screen, he exhaled softly. Gavin's name is clearly there. Not only the name, but the photo of the man was also plastered on the screen. So it is certain that Kalea called the correct number.
But why did he find the voice of a woman, even more so the woman was Bi Imah? What the hell is going on?
"Miss?" call Bi Imah again when he does not answer.
"Hello, Bi. How can Gavin have the same Bi Imah?" tanyanya astonishment. He walked closer to the mattress, sitting himself on the edge while his hands began to be busy twisting the sheets while waiting for Bi Imah to answer his question.
"This hape Mas Gavin apparently missed at the kitchen counter, Aunt also just found out. Last time Aunt went to the kitchen to grab a drink, there was a sound of hape. Auntie check it's Mas Gavin's hape."
Kalea listened to Bi Imah's explanation carefully then nodded her head. In that case, everything makes sense. Gavin did not want to give it up, apparently not because he forgot or did not want to, but could not because the man's phone was left in his house.
Hah. So Kalea was waiting for news from someone who didn't even have access to contact her? Slightly annoying.
"Hape wants Aunt Anterin to Neng Kalea's room or what?" bi Imah's voice again caught his attention.
Kalea immediately got up from her seat, walked quickly to the door and said, "No need, Kalea is there. Aunt is still in the kitchen, right?"
"Yes, still Neng."
"Yaudah, wait a minute."
Kalea rushed out of the room after turning off the phone. His little legs walked quickly down the stairs, ignoring the fact that the house was already dark and he could have tripped if he was not careful.
Arriving in the kitchen, he found Bi Imah sitting in one of the chairs while holding a cellphone. When he realized his arrival, Bi Imah immediately got up. Without further ado the woman held out Gavin's cell phone to him and he received it immediately.
"Gavin seems like a real hobby to have sex." His grunt. In retrospect, he had found out Gavin left his phone several times. And for someone like Gavin, isn't a cell phone one of the most important things to carry around, because he needs to contact people who are related to his work?
"Jaudah, Neng, because the hape is the same Neng Kalea, Auntie said back to the room ya." Bi Imah.
"Yes, Bi. Thanks." Thanks."
After Bi Imah passed, Kalea fell silent again. He was still standing in his place, looking at Gavin's cell phone in his hand for quite a long time. There was a desire to check what was inside the man's phone when he found Gavin had not placed a pin there at all. Because perhaps, he could find a little quiet answer his curiosity about the relationship Gavin and Taruna. Perhaps he could find a little relief so that his head did not get noisier and his heart did not grow restless.
His fingers have moved slowly wiping the screen of Gavin's phone until the key is open.
But before that desire became even more so, Kalea hurriedly shook her head. He tried hard to get rid of his stupid thoughts because he realized that such an action was completely inappropriate. Everyone has privacy, and he obviously doesn't want to violate Gavin's privacy.
Finally, having successfully removed the intention completely from the head, Kalea moved on. He climbed one step at a time until he reached the second floor. But instead of going into her room, Kalea turned left into her parents' room.
His hands stretched out, grabbed the doorknob and casually opened his parents' room door without even knocking it first. When the door opened, he found Mama asleep while Papa was still awake, sitting on a mattress with an iPad in hand.
"There's still work. Just let Papa sleep." Papa replied with eyes focused on the iPad screen.
"You yourself why haven't you slept?"
"I can't sleep." He said frankly.
Hearing that, Papa raised his head. In an instant his attention was already completely turned to Kalea. Papa took off the reading glasses that were being used then put them on the nightstand, followed by the iPad whose screen is still on.
"Why?" ask Papa.
Kalea shrugged her shoulders. "Just can't."
"You want to sleep here?" tawar Papa, has completely forgotten the work that originally seized all his attention.
"Delivery?"
"Wooking, lah. Lha wong your body tungkring like this."
Kalea snorted bitterly as Papa chuckled after weaving her cungkring. Shortly after that, he smiled. Sleeping with Mom and Dad doesn't seem like a bad idea. Counting enjoyed more moments together before she officially became Gavin's wife in the next few days.
So without waiting for Papa to offer for the second time, Kalea immediately went up to the bed. He did not try to move carefully so he made Papa shake his head slowly.
As a result of the bar-bar movement, Mama who was originally in deep sleep began to move restlessly until finally opening her eyes. When their gazes met, Kalea found the corner of Mama's lips lifted, forming a smile that instantly warmed her heart.
Then Mama reached out her hand, pulling her body slowly until now she was lying in the warm arms of Mama.
"Baby Mama want to sleep here?" ask Mama in a hoarse voice. Then Kalea felt her head rubbed slowly so that she automatically closed her eyes.
"I'm not a baby boy. But, yeah. I'm going to sleep with Mama and Papa."
"Sleep with Mama and Papa but only Mama hugged." That's Papa's voice. Sounds upset, but Kalea clearly knows that Papa is just pretending. So he just responded to Papa's words with a crisp laugh before he finally let go of Mama's embrace and turned to hug Papa.
"Old man, don't be jealous." He said in a muffled voice as he now sank his face into Papa's field chest. The scent of Papa's favorite perfume instantly filled his sense of smell, causing the unrest in his heart to slowly drift aside and be replaced with a comfortable feeling that was too difficult for him to speak.
"Well, it's Mama's turn to be cheated." This time replace the protesting mother.
Kalea and Papa laughed. Then Kalea let go of Papa's embrace, stretched out her body and landed her arms on Mama and Papa's stomach respectively.
"No need to fight." He said with closed eyes and a perfectly developed smile.
No more protests were heard after that. Because now Kalea feels her body hugged by Mama and Papa, making her feel safe, like a baby who sleeps soundly in the womb.
