The Unexpected Guest

"Can join?" said the man.

Kalea was silent for a moment. Staring at the figure of a tall man in front of him ranging from the top of his head to the tip of his feet. Somewhat surprised to find the existence of the man on his wedding day considering their first meeting which finally left negative thoughts in the middle of his relationship with Gavin.

"Hello?"

Kalea blinked softly as she felt the wind gusting down her face. The cadet, the tall man before her chuckled at the look on her cengo face.

"Are you that surprised because I came?" ask Taruna.

"Honestly, yes." Answer Kalea as is.

"Well, I was surprised too. Gavin didn't invite me." Adu Taruna suddenly, making Kalea's forehead wrinkled faintly. If Gavin didn't invite this man, then who did? Midshipmen are unlikely to come with their own initiative, right? Kalea does not know Taruna well, but he believes this man is not as determined to come to the wedding of a friend even though he was not invited. Especially with Kalea's suspicions on the relationship Taruna and Gavin that it does not feel okay.

"You know each other?" That's Irina's voice.

Kalea turned to Irina, finding a frown on her forehead that was so obvious. "Know. This cadet is Gavin's friend." Kalea is based on what she knows. Then when he realized something, Kalea asked back. "You know Taruna too?"

It didn't wait long until Irina nodded her head. "Taruna is my manager."

Kalea ber oh ria when she discovered the new fact. Presumably, the world is narrow. So that in the space of two months he continued to meet with people who seemed to be related to each other.

"I think you're busy doing my rescheduled job."

Kalea turned her eyes to Irina. The woman folded the two horns in front of her chest, completely forgetting the wine she had either put where.

"Everything is fine, nothing needs to be taken care of anymore. The management also again deals with the rumors, so that the kunyuk is not more looking for a stage with these rumors." Bright Cadets.

Kalea does not really understand the problem. Do not understand also why Taruna called Gabriel Permana, a young actor who is handsome plenary with the name of the kunyuk. Kalea didn't want to be pretentious, but from the way Taruna called Gabriel and his obvious facial expression was upset, Kalea thought their relationship was indeed not good.

"By the way, Kalea..."

Kalea flinched when her name was suddenly mentioned by Taruna. Inevitably, he stared at this man before him. Their eyes meet for a few seconds before a smile rises on the face of the Taruna, followed by a helping hand that for a few seconds only Kalea can look at in silence.

"Congratulations on her wedding. May God always bless your marriage, so you guys could really grow old together, like the vow you just said before."

"Thanks." -." Kalea shakes Taruna's hand for a while and immediately pulls her hand back when her eyes catch Gavin's figure walking towards them. His face looked serious. Maybe because of the presence of the cadets? I don't know, Kalea doesn't want to guess.

"Gue didn't know you were coming." It was the first sentence Gavin spoke after arriving before him. The sentence was clearly addressed to Taruna, but somehow Gavin's gaze was turned in the other direction. Probably in the direction...The irina?

Kalea shook her head slowly as Irina's name suddenly appeared in her head. Even if Gavin was staring at Irina, it must be just because the man was surprised to find a stranger coming to his wedding, right?

"Lo tha invited. Fyi aja anyway, we often play golf together at the end of each month." Said Taruna with a faint smile.

"So you're Papa Adrian's guest?" Gavin asked back, turning his head slightly to the Taruna who was only a few inches shorter than him.

"If so, enjoy the party. I have to take Kalea somewhere else now."

Kalea slightly flinched as Gavin suddenly pulled slowly on her arm, making them stand parallel and one of the man's hands curled casually around her waist.

"We have to go." Gavin said slowly.

"But I still want to talk to Irina." Kalea looked at Irina with an uneasy feeling. Whereas Irina had taken the time to come to her wedding, then now she had to leave the woman just after speaking a few words?

"The conversation can be later. Now we have to go." Gavin said firmly, making Kalea can no longer make offers.

Finally, Kalea resigned herself as Gavin took her away from the presence of Taruna and Irina. Before it actually passed from there, Kalea had turned to Irina who showed a gesture as if saying it's okay that made Kalea feel more guilty.

...****************...

"Are you really invited with Kalea's dad?" after such a long silence, Irina finally opened her voice. With a gaze that floated far forward, on the figure of Kalea and Gavin who had already mingled with some relatives, Irina quietly squeezed her dress. There was a tightness that felt so filled his chest as a smile never disappeared from Gavin's face. The man smiled so wide, too wide and looked so sincere to the size of someone who was forced to accept this matchmaking.

"I thought I'd come if I wasn't invited?" Taruna turned his head, from earlier he was also busy looking at the same object as Irina. But with a different feeling.

Irina slicked her shoulders as she took a sip of the wine she had just picked up from the tray carried by a servant. "We never know."

Hearing that, Taruna chuckled. He took a sip of his wine. For a moment his gaze was again thrown far forward, only to make a breath escape from the side of his lips. "You know, Rin? Right now, I'm really looking at Gavin's face." The cadets turned back to Irina, somewhat surprised to find a thin smile on her lips.

"You want to stop him until he dies, our situation will not change. You know my life has never gone smoothly before." As Irina turned her head, Taruna's desire to punch Gavin in the face rose many times over from before. Because now the woman's gray bead looks so sick and fragile. Irina's smile did not manage to hide the wounds.

"At least I can make him battered, let his smile not rise that wide."

"And make me sadder?"

The lips of the Midshipman are tightly clenched. Irina managed to silence him completely. This woman clearly knew her weakness. And sometimes Taruna cursed herself for falling in the wrong place.

Just as when she was present at this wedding unexpectedly, her presence to Irina's life was supposed to be avoidable. Supposedly, if only the Midshipman knew that in the future he would fall for this woman.

"Don't bother Gavin, Na. He's been through a lot of hardship his whole life." Irina's words managed to scratch the hearts of the Taruna more. It creates a new bruise that feels more painful than it has been before.

"Lo know, Rin? Sometimes I feel that the sympathy you direct to Gavin is completely useless. One of them is now."

Instead of agreeing, Irina just smiled. His gaze was again thrown forward, only to have his heart scratched more as his eyes found Gavin clasping tightly onto Kalea's hand. Smiling at the woman who is now his wife. It was as if there was only Kalea within Gavin's world. It was as if Irina no longer existed in the world that Gavin had built up long ago. It was as if there had never been a story between Irina and the man.

"And you know, Na? No matter how useless I feel about Gavin, nothing will change. Gavin remains someone important to me. Because thanks to him, I was able to survive until now."

The cadets no longer. He was silent with his mind floating in the air. Then when he found himself in the same position as Irina, Taruna could only smile. It is true that love can make a person stupid.
