Arriving home, Gavin still couldn't stop wondering about Kalea's strange demeanor. Especially when the woman walked cheerfully into the house and even slightly jumped up and down while climbing the stairs to the second floor.
Gavin was still trailing behind, keeping a safe distance because in addition to fear that Kalea's mood would turn bad again if adjacent to him, he was still trying to digest the situation.
Meanwhile, Kalea who had now arrived at the door of the room suddenly stopped her steps, then she turned around without warning, making Gavin who followed three steps behind her slightly jerked.
"What?" ask Gavin.
"I suddenly want to eat Samgyetang." Celtap Kalea.
"Almost three o'clock in the morning, Kal. Tomorrow, all right?" persuade Gavin, but Kalea shook her head.
"Well now," with a clear face.
Oh my God .. Why is this woman really doing this? What's wrong with his brain that his attitude has become this strange?
Gavin sighed, nodded resignedly then immediately turned back down the stairs to the kitchen.
Kalea whose wish was again followed smiled brightly, then followed Gavin even until the man was already standing in front of the stove.
"You watch out, it'll get a fire." Gavin rebukes because Kalea continues to follow him everywhere. Starting from the moment he walked into the refrigerator took the chicken and the kitchen spices, as he went to the sink to wash all the ingredients before being cut into pieces, until now he had returned to the front of the stove and was about to light it.
"I want to see how it cooks," Kalea reasoned.
"On YouTube a lot, you can see there. Now, move aside." Gavin grabbed Kalea by the shoulder, turned his small body around and led her to the chair.
"Just stay here" said Gavin.
Kalea was upset, but she complied and waited for Gavin while watching the man struggling with the cookware.
It's freaky. Kalea herself also felt that something was wrong with her. He and Gavin were still in a cold war this morning. But why now they can look like a married couple who get along and never get into trouble.
I don't know, Kalea just followed what her heart wanted even though her head kept saying it was wrong. As if the impulse inside him is indeed much greater than the logic in the head.
After waiting for a long time, Kalea finally smiled brightly as Gavin walked towards her with a bowl of Samgyetang reflecting smoke. The man placed the bowl in front of him, then stretched out a spoon before sitting on the opposite chair.
Kalea received the spoon with pleasure, eagerly as she directed the spoon into the bowl and took the hot broth.
But just as the spoon reached in front of her mouth, Kalea instantly distanced the spoon while covering her nose. For some reason, the aroma of Samgyetang soup suddenly became so strong and piercing that it made his stomach nauseous.
"Why?" gavin asked frantically, he even got up from his seat.
"Sir." Adu Kalea's. He thrust the spoon in front of Gavin, asking him to sniff out the pungent aroma of gravy.
Gavin was confused, because according to him, there was nothing wrong with his cooking this time. All the procedures were done well and the materials he used were all still in good condition. Even so, Gavin still grabbed the spoon from Kalea's hand and checked if the smell was that strong if up close.
But, after the spoon reached in front of his nose, Gavin did not find anything strange. The aroma of Samgyetang soup is like this, and Kalea also usually eats with voraciously.
"You!" Kalea. "That's a hell of a smell, Gavin. My stomach got nauseous" she said while still covering her nose.
"Ta-"
"Ouch!" gavin's speech was cut short as Kalea suddenly got up from the chair and ran towards the bathroom near the kitchen.
Worried, Gavin soon followed. When her feet reached the doorway, she found Kalea crouching in front of the closet, spewing out the contents inside her stomach.
"Kal, you okay?" Gavin rushed in, approached Kalea and gently massaged the woman's back neck.
Kalea did not say because her stomach was getting nauseous, but she seemed to have drained all of her stomach now. His breathing was short and he felt weak.
"We're going to the hospital, huh?" The panicked Gavin was about to carry Kalea's body, but the woman shook her head.
"I'm okay" he said weakly.
"What's wrong? You're vomiting gini, your face is pale too."
"I'm fine, Gavin." Kalea emphasized once again. If he had been happy for no apparent reason, now he suddenly felt annoyed.
"I'm going to go to the room." He said he got up with great difficulty because he balked at Gavin's idea to help him stand up.
"I'm carrying," Gavin walked over, about to lift Kalea's body.
"I can do it myself." Reject it, while pushing Gavin's body slowly away from him.
"Not to!" gavin sela. Then, after Kalea silently did not answer, she immediately lifted the woman's body and carried her up to the room.
With great care, Gavin laid Kalea's body on the mattress, raised the blanket to the stomach and placed the back of his hand on Kalea's forehead to check if she had a fever.
"No fever" he murmured. Then, he stared fixedly at Kalea. "This must be because you want to take a ride on the bike. The wind must be in." Omelnya, which only Kalea responded by turning the eyeball lazy.
"This is because you cooked the stinking Samgyetang" said Kalea.
"The samgyetang does not smell at all. Your nose is weird." Gavin tried to defend himself. There is nothing wrong with Samgyetang. I don't know why Kalea said the Samgyetang stinks.
"That stinks, period." Kalea with her usual stubbornness. Then, the woman turned around, turned her back on Gavin and instantly closed her eyes, pretending to be asleep.
On the edge of the mattress, Gavin can only stroke the chest against Kalea's behavior because again he is aware that his position is not supportive for him can argue the woman. He only had a week, and in that time, he had to treat Kalea as best he could and obey all his wishes. So that when one week runs out and he really has to let go of the woman, he still has good memories to keep in his head.
"Sleep, don't just pretend." Gavin said the last time before he sat himself on a mattress, looking at Kalea's back that felt so far away he could reach.
Kalea did not reply, instead opening her eyes wide and muttering without a sound. He was mumbling, no matter who and for what reason.
