Nine o'clock at night. Gavin rushed out of his study. Walked to the basement to ignore the greetings of some employees who are still overtime. Ignoring the faint whispers that came out of the mouths of some employees who indeed from the beginning Gavin knew did not like his presence and his way of leading subordinates.
Arriving in the basement, Gavin immediately got into his car and without further ado stepped on the gas pedal until the car drove along in a quiet basement. He didn't even try to put on his seatbelt first.
After Gavin's car came out of the basement, someone emerged from behind the ranks of cars parked across from Gavin's previous car. The man, Claretta, smiled as he looked at the screen of his phone. There are a lot of photos sent by e-mail. The photos were either collected by whom and what the purpose of sending the photos to him. Claretta won't bother. Clearly, he was grateful that the man had already paved the way for him to destroy Gavin faster.
Satisfied with the photos on her phone screen, Claretta moved towards her car. With a perfectly developed smile, he drove the car out of the basement.
"Let's welcome your impending destruction, Vin." He murmured while grasping tightly at the steering wheel.
...****************...
Gavin's goal is certainly not a house, but Irina's apartment. Although he had to argue with himself first, in the end Gavin chose this step. He did not want Irina to feel unnecessary if she did not rush to the woman and asked for an explanation about why her phone could not be reached.
While pulling and exhaling regularly, Gavin entered a security code on the door. After the door opened, he immediately rushed in and barged into Irina's unit through the connecting door like he used to.
Gavin stopped at the doorway as his eyes found Irina sitting on the sofa, dressed in a tassel that slightly dropped until she had smooth shoulders. The woman turned her head because she realized her presence and flashed a gaze that was too difficult to translate.
Gavin exhaled loudly, then walked up to Irina and immediately took a seat next to the woman as Irina straightened her back which was originally leaning on the sofa.
"You from the office?"
Gavin never expected the question to be the first he heard, but he nodded his head.
"Cock even here? Kalea must have been waiting for you, so-"
"Not to mention Kalea." Gavin impulsively said that. He was even stunned when he realized that his tone was extremely unfriendly. He never intended to speak in such a manner.
There was faintly the sound of heavy breathing from Irina. The woman got up from her seat. Tidying up the outer of his nightshirt until the smooth shoulder is no longer visible.
Gavin looked up, following every move Irina made because he did not want to lose a single moment at all.
"Have you eaten?" irina asked with a straight forward look.
Gavin did not answer. He just continued to look at Irina who was standing looming before him.
"In the refrigerator I have no groceries, have not had time to fill. Want me to make some instant noodles?" asked Irina again, still with a straight forward look. It was too difficult for him to speak while staring at Gavin.
"I'm not here to ask for food." Finally Gavin got up. Coinciding with Irina's turning so that their gazes met.
Unlike Kalea, Irina had a much more misleading eye because Gavin knew there were so many wounds stored behind it. Every gray eye that looked at her in this way, Gavin always felt like embracing Irina's body and eradicating all the worries that whack the woman. But, now, Gavin no longer has the same courage because the source of the worry is himself.
So, instead of pulling Irina into his arms, Gavin immediately pointed at Irina with a question that immediately made the look of the woman's face change.
"Where are you from? Why can't you call me for days?"
"Rin," call Gavin. But Irina still didn't answer. The woman continued walking towards the room, and returned shortly afterwards while carrying her phone.
Gavin looked up at the phone Irina had put on him. The phone is dead and the screen is cracked. In addition to cracks in the screen, there are several other parts that are also irregular blisters.
"Hape why are you?" gavin asked after his consciousness returned.
"Fall right when I took an online motorcycle taxi to the shooting location." Irina Clear. Unexpectedly, the way Irina responded to Gavin's question seemed much calmer than usual. The woman was no longer excited and accused Gavin of this.
"Why did you ride an online motorcycle? Where are the cadets?"
"Vin," Irina interrupted before Gavin spoke more. "In addition to his status as my manager, Taruna is also a father of a four-year-old daughter. He's not just taking care of me, but Sierra."
"You can't ask him to always standby beside me." Irina folded both hands in front of her chest and looked at Gavin seriously. "After all, my residence is still the same. If you really want to know how I am, you'll come, right?"
"And, yes, you came. After more than 24 hours." Syndicator Irina.
Gavin rubbed his face rough. Sighing out a deep breath before looking back at Irina. "Sorry." He knew that one word would not be enough to solve anything. It was just that, nothing else came to his head other than that already stale apology. Irina must also have been very sick of the apology that came over for the repeated mistakes she made.
"You're here just wondering why I can't be contacted?"
At first, Gavin thought Irina would get angry and throw him away like the other day. But it turned out that what happened next was really never inside his head before this.
Instead of shouting and telling her to leave, Irina walked over and said something that immediately made Gavin's tongue feel faint.
"Don't miss me? Don't you want a hug?" irina asked as she spread her arms wide so that Gavin could enter her arms.
Gavin was pensive for a while. Questioning his own sanity before he finally clasped that slender body into an embrace. Irina is close. He wanted the smell of shampoo that emanated from the strands of the woman's hair that was left beautifully scattered.
"I miss you so much, you know it." Gavin's scales while sniffing Irina's neck deeply. Trying to insert as much of the woman's body scent as possible into her respiratory tract.
"I'm afraid you'll leave me, Rin. I'm..." Gavin did not continue his sentence because his throat suddenly felt choked. Instead, Gavin pulled Irina closer, lamenting her stronger scent. "Don't stay with me. Don't." Don't."
In Gavin's arms, Irina smiled. It was not in vain that he suppressed his ego to the end. Because now he knows that no matter how far Gavin goes, this man will still find a way to get back to himself.
To hell with Taruna and all her efforts to separate her from Gavin, Irina will remain in her place as long as Gavin still needs her.
Please tell me she's stupid, Irina doesn't care. He only wanted to have Gavin as long as he was given the chance.
"I'm not going anywhere, Vin. It won't."
