It might have been six in the morning when Kalea was finally able to close her eyes after dragging her feet to return to the room. He remembered, there was another life he was carrying right now, so he should not act evil towards himself because it would also affect the baby.

After closing her eyes for two hours, Kalea woke up, due to the knock that was thrown at the door of her room many times. No. gabe. Actually it can not be said as a knock anymore, maybe more precisely referred to as a blow because the sound caused so jarring.

With a heavy head and a staggering body, Kalea got off the bed, walking unsteadily towards the door to find out who had interrupted her sleep.

Then, the door that opened slowly displayed the figure of Karel with an anxious look that was as it was. The man tilted his head at first, as if he was looking for something inside Kalea's room. And when he didn't meet, he barged in. Only to be made more anxious when what he was looking for was not there.

"Where's Gavin?" he asked, looking at Kalea with a worried look.

"Why are you nyariin Gavin early in the morning?" Kalea asked back, making Karel's anxiety level rise.

"Well, where is Gavin now? He's at home, right? It's Saturday, it's impossible to get to the office." Cerocos Karel, with his breathing starting to irregularly go along with his heart rate increasing.

"Gavin doesn't exist" Kalea said.

"Where?"

"No idea, he left last night and hasn't come home yet." Honest Kalea in the end. Because there was no Gavin there, and he didn't know where the man went after their argument last night.

Maybe Gavin went to see Irina? I don't know, Kalea didn't want to second-guess even when she knew it was the most reasonable possibility.

"That Gavin isn't home?" Karel is still trying to make sure.

"Nothing, Rail. Why the hell are you looking for him?"

Instead of answering, Karel rubbed his face rough and then restored his hair with a stark gesture of frustration. That certainly attracted the attention of Kalea, making him wonder what really underlies the arrival of Karel early in the morning here, especially to find Gavin.

"Ril? What's up?" he urged, when Karel did not speak after tens of seconds.

Karel raised his gaze, making their eyes meet in one straight line and Kalea could see the growing worry emanating clearly from the man's bead.

"So I got a call, he said from the police." Karel.

"Police? What are you doing?"

"Not me, but Gavin ... Gavin," said Karel faltered. His throat felt choked, it was hard to compromise to report the news he had just received a few dozen minutes ago.

"Gavin why? What's he doing?" Kalea is becoming impatient. Especially when she saw Karel biting her own lower lip instead of answering her question quickly.

"Rel!" one shock was given to Karel's arm, hoping that the man would soon open his voice.

"Gavin's accident, Kal. Critical condition. The police called me because I was the last person Gavin called last night. I ... Last night I didn't pick up Gavin's phone and now ... now Gavin ...." Karel was no longer able to continue his sentence.

Ever since receiving word that Gavin had an accident, she has continued to blame herself for missing Gavin's phone last night. He thought, Gavin might call him when he really needs help.

"You don't have to joke, it's still morning." Kalea's voice was barely audible. She was still trying to digest the information Karel had given her, as well as hoping that all she heard was just the booze the man had said to prank her.

But, Karel's expression was too serious for the size of someone who was joking.

Unfortunately, Karel shook his head. The man's eyes even started to tear up, and his voice sounded trembling as he said, "Sorry, Kal .. "it's so soft and poignant.

The head of Kalea suddenly felt heavy, his gaze was twitching and his body was dazed until he fell to the floor.

Clear fog began to fill his eye peluk. His chest again felt tight, even the tightness that this time he felt like it was doubled than the previous one.

Kalea was speechless, only able to cry again, draining the stock of tears that still remained a lot.

While Karel, began to follow crying while hugging the body of Kalea who was sitting limp on the floor.

...****************...

Upon arrival at the hospital, there is already Mother and Papa Jonathan waiting in front of the ICU room. The two sat next to each other in a chair, where Mother was seen bowing her head deeply while Papa Jonathan patted her softly on the woman's back.

Kalea dragged her steps faster towards them, leaving Mama and Karel who had been holding onto her arms so that she would not fall.

"Bun," he called her down.

Mother raised her head, and Kalea immediately grimaced to find a trace of tears on the woman's face.

"Gavin ..."

"It's okay," Mother cut. As her heart crumbled, she could still smile as she got up from the chair and walked over to Kalea.

"Gavin won't do anything, honey." Mother said again, as she grabbed Kalea's hand and held it tightly.

"Gavin's a strong boy, so he can definitely get through his critical period and get back to us."

Tears that Kalea had been holding up along the way to the hospital, finally spilled also when watching how Mother tried to convince herself, in reality the woman also looked so frightened.

Kalea splashed into Mother's arms, then cried so badly.

In the midst of her crying, she began to blame herself. Condemning his actions that had berated Gavin without even listening to his explanation first so the man decided to leave.

If only last night he had not put forward any emotions to solve the problem between the two of them, Gavin might not have had an accident. The man must still be beside her right now, coaxing her to discuss the best middle ground for their household matters.

But the rice has become porridge. Time could not be turned back, and Kalea could only give up the fear that suddenly burst into her head.

What if Gavin doesn't make it past his critical period? What if God did not want to be kind enough to give the man a second chance, so that they could solve the problems that are still afflicting their household? What if Gavin had to leave without a word of saying goodbye. What if ...he would never be able to introduce Gavin to their child?

Along with more bad possibilities appearing in her head, Kalea's cries further broke in Mother's arms.

While Karel, Mama and Papa Jonathan can only be silent with a heart that is equally painful to see how devastated Kalea is now.
