"Bye, Gavin! Tell me if you've told a story!"
Gavin clenched his hands tightly, with all his might holding himself back from turning around and crashing back at the Cadets. His steps were swung wider, wanting to quickly leave this place before his emotions rose and things went wrong between him and Taruna.
The elevator door opened just as he arrived in front of the iron object. Without further ado, Gavin barges in. He could not wait for the three people in the elevator to get out first, so one of them grumbled because his body was accidentally knocked over by Gavin.
Of course Gavin didn't care, he continued, immediately pressing the button towards the basement floor. As he wanted to get off quickly, Gavin did not even care about a middle-aged woman running to the elevator, asking him to hold the button to get into the elevator.
Suddenly, Gavin transformed into a human with a lack of empathy. Or perhaps, his conscience had been eroded by those confidants who turned out to betray him secretly.
As soon as the elevator doors opened on the basement floor, Gavin barged out. The motorbike key was taken out of his pants pocket and he immediately put his bike forward, again like a madman.
The night is getting late, but Gavin's intention to go to Mother's house in order to hear directly the explanation of his father does not recede at all.
Even when the rain began to fall rapidly without giving any sign before, Gavin still recklessly put forward his motorbike.
One advantage when the rain is down is, the streets become quieter because people tend to choose to drive when the rain has subsided.
So, taking advantage of the quiet conditions of the road, Gavin pulled the gas lever tighter, no matter if his body was soaked and his eyes began to feel sore.
Just like when he drove his motorbike towards Irina's apartment earlier, Gavin also returned through the red light. Especially now that the streets are quieter and he believes it is safe for him to violate traffic lights.
But unfortunately, because of his confidence, Gavin was not aware that from the side, a truck loaded with goods drove at high speed.
By the time Gavin noticed the truck's arrival through floodlights and horns that were rung many times, it was too late.
Trucks go very fast, so no matter how deep the brake pedal is stepped on, accidents remain inevitable. Gavin's motor was crammed, causing Gavin's body to bounce upwards, hovering in the air for a split second before finally crashing down onto the hard asphalt.
Unfortunately, the road conditions are completely deserted, so the frightened truck driver prefers to gas rather than go down and check if Gavin is alive or even dead.
Gavin could only resign when he saw the truck that had hit him moving away and in an instant had disappeared behind the darkness of the night.
Gavin grimaced, feeling excruciating pain all over his body, especially in the head. Then between conscious and unconscious, Kalea's face appeared within her shadow. The woman was crying, so bitter.
But as her hands stretched out to touch the woman's face and wiped her tears, everything suddenly darkened. Gavin was unconscious, and no one came to save his life.
...****************...
It was already dawn, but Kalea still had not moved away from her studio. He cried all night, until now his eyes were completely twisted and his face turned pale.
Right now, he was sitting on the floor, hugging his own knees. Her swollen eyes stared at me in the direction of Irina's test pack that was blown in front of her. Many times he denied this fact, but many times also he was slapped by the fact that Gavin was never created for him. Even when God is willing to present their children.
Kalea is getting confused. Irina's pregnant circumstances should make her even more convinced to divorce Gavin. But what happened was that he was again afraid. Imagining her son being born without a father was really like a nightmare for Kalea.
Not wanting it to happen, he thought about allowing Gavin to marry Irina secretly. She can pretend not to know about Irina, as long as Gavin will still be by her side and their child later.
It was okay if Gavin had to go home once every two or three days, to take turns staying at Irina's house who lived apart from them. Importantly, he and their son can still get affection from Gavin.
But when imagined again, it feels like Kalea will not be able to. He's jealous, to be honest. So, how can she share her husband with others?
"What do I do, God?" softly, along with the tears that returned to fall, spilling over his deathly pale face.
