After spending nearly two hours sitting together in a meeting room with Gitta, he, Gavin finally finds out that the culprit of the problems that occurred in the last project he and the team are working on is Claretta and his father. Somehow, the two humans are looking for ways to hinder the course of the project being worked on. The reason is certainly only one, so that Gavin is considered not to be good at working on this important project and Claretta can take over.
Gavin restores his hair using his long fingers in a frustrated motion. Indeed, he was not too interested in the business world which from the beginning became an ambition for his father.
She stays in this company solely because it's the only way to help Irina stay safe during her modeling career. Only with this power could he protect Irina from the dirty hands of the sponsors who often regard the model as a covert selling job.
In addition, Gavin also wanted to stay because Mother continued to beg him to maintain his position. I don't know for what reason.
Opposite him, Gitta was still waiting for the decision he would make. The woman had been patiently accepting all the ravings that Gavin did not say for her. So, in order to make up for the time and ears that Gitta had left for him, Gavin got up from the chair as a sign of the end of their discussion today.
"I'll take care of everything. You just tell the relevant team to keep the project running as planned. Claretta and Mr. Arya's business, leave it to me."
Gitta nodded in understanding. He immediately stood up and tidied up the scattered files on the table. Then after all the files he managed to transport into the arms, Gitta resigned.
After Gitta's departure, Gavin spent nearly fifteen minutes in the meeting room doing nothing. He just stood quietly in front of the big glass window that led to the street while hurting his one hand. One more hand he clung onto the window glass, leaving a visible palm trace as he finally pulled his hand from there.
"Fuck." When he remembered how much chaos Claretta and Om Arya had done in his life.
Seeing how they were so eager to get him out of the company, Gavin became convinced that all the terror sent to Kalea and Irina must have something to do with the father and son.
As his head grew more and more taut and his chest rumbled unruffled, Gavin rushed out of the meeting room after grabbing the phone that he had just placed on the table.
Gavin rushed to the elevator when he saw the iron object was almost closed. He was not in the mood to linger here, so he was lazy to wait until the next elevator arrived.
Meanwhile, just as Gavin manages to get inside the elevator and the elevator doors are perfectly closed, a young man dressed in all black, wearing a hat and mask immediately darted into the meeting room. To get in there required an access card that only a few people in the company had, and the young man had it. Then, no more obstacles.
After successfully entering, the young man immediately walked towards the table where Gavin and Gitta had previously held a meeting. The young man leaned over, picked up something from under the table and smiled in satisfaction as the round-shaped object the size of an adult's thumb managed to grab it.
A voice recorder has been installed to capture all conversations that occur between Gavin and Gitta.
"perfect." He muttered before putting the tiny thing into his jacket pocket and immediately left the room.
...****************...
When he reached the hospital, Gavin rushed to Kalea's hospital room. However, he was made confused when he did not find anyone there.
Instead, Gavin found a basket of fruits and a bouquet of Hydrangeas on the nightstand. The patient's bed looks neat and the junk snacks that were scattered on the table next to the sofa have been cleaned.
Gavin immediately pulled out his phone to contact Mommy. The number was successfully pressed and he only needed to wait until seven seconds before the phone was connected.
"Hello, Vin?"
"Mother take Kalea for a walk, huh? You're not in his room." asked Gavin as he walked to the storage cabinet to check if there were any items that the woman had taken away.
"Oh, Kalea again visited the same room next to Karel. Mother again outside for food."
Next room? Gavin thought for a moment. Then, after he remembered that the next room was the one where Sierra had been raided, Gavin immediately turned off the phone. He did not even say anything to Mother, no matter if the woman would end up confused.
With a wide swinging step, Gavin came out of Kalea's nursery. He walked quickly to Sierra's nursery and stopped right in front of the door. He stayed there for almost half a minute. Then, he raised his hand and put a few knocks on the door.
And when the door was opened, the first thing that caught Gavin's eye was not Kalea playing with Sierra in the patient's bed. Neither did Karel sit in a henchman on the sofa or Taruna who just came out of the bathroom. But the figure of a beautiful slim woman who was sitting on a chair near the bed and staring at him right when he appeared from behind the door.
Gavin felt all the muscles in his body tighten. The back of the head feels heavy and the stomach suddenly nausea for no reason. The woman, Irina, still did not take her eyes off her.
"Have you come home?"
Gavin drew a glance from the woman, turned to look at Kalea and forced a smile that was actually very difficult for him to be able to carve in moments like this.
"Come in, Vin." Said Taruna who was now standing next to Sierra's bed.
Gavi stepped in with a heavy heart. If he could turn back the clock, he would just sit in Kalea's nursery and wait until she returned, there was no need for her to come here and end up dizzy on her own.
"The problem at work is over?"
"Udah. Just a small problem, no need to worry." His lie.
Then, Gavin swiftly caught Kalea's body as she moved down from the bed. Every now and then she glanced at Irina to check her reaction. But what appeared on Irina's face really could not be read. Gavin had a hard time guessing what was going on inside her head right now.
"Have you eaten? Taking medicine?"
"Udah all." Kalea answered quickly.
"Sierra is too?" gavin asked the figure of the girl who was now staring at him from the patient's bed.
Sierra just nodded his head. It doesn't seem too comfortable to talk to him.
Gavin knows it. His face was indeed fierce for people who had just met for the first time. He was also not too able to take the children's sympathy. So, after getting a nod of his head from Sierra, Gavin asked nothing more.
"Gavin, can I still play Sierra for a while? Half an hour?" kalea asked with a sad face expression.
If so, what could Gavin do but nod his head in agreement? Kalea was obviously excited, she immediately broke away from Gavin's grasp and again jumped up onto the bed, following Sierra who was just as happy.
In an instant, Kalea and Sierra were already immersed in their respective worlds.
Gavin still occasionally glanced at Irina. Trying hard to keep his movements unreadable by Karel behind him.
Then, when his gaze met with Taruna, Gavin impulsively said, "Gue wants to chat for a while with you outside."
"OK," Taruna nodded. He said a little goodbye to Sierra before walking ahead.
While Gavin covered first towards Karel before catching up with Taruna who was already outside the room. "I'm picking up Kalea again." He said as he landed a soft pat on Karel's shoulder.
The only ones patted on his shoulders were the mangosteen and Gavin darted away from there. Leaving the question mark not only in Karel's mind, but also Irina.
