Gavin was silent for a long time in the car, busy arguing with himself about what he should do next. whether he should go down and see Kalea immediately or wait a little longer until he is sure his mood is really good and will not make any more mistakes against the girl. he parked his car some distance from Kalea's house, looking out the window several times to see if Kalea came out of the house and could have seen her whereabouts. He also took out his phone, typed in a few sentences that he eventually deleted and did not send to Kalea.
Until he was tired himself. After taking a few breaths, Gavin decided to get out of the car. He walked quickly to the gate of the house of Kalea, only to be silent again for the next few minutes. From the outside, Gavin did not find the whereabouts of Mr. Dadang. And he was rather grateful that if the middle-aged man was in the guard post, then Gavin would not have time to prepare himself before actually meeting Kalea.
"Mas, what?"
A female voice greeted, Gavin reflexively turned his head and found Karel's housekeeper standing in front of the gate of the man's house while carrying a large bag of black crackles.
"You're going to see Kalea, huh?" the woman asked again after throwing the bag of crackles she was carrying into the trash in front of the gate.
"Yes." Yeah." Gavin answered briefly. He walked to the left side, approaching towards Mpok Nuria who was now looking at him seriously.
"Mbak Kalea is at Mas Karel's house, again chatting in the backyard. Do you want to follow?" tawar Mpok Nuria's.
Gavin seemed to think for a moment. He had never set foot in Karel's house, for he would not allow it either. But, at this time, he really had to meet with Kalea before their relationship again deteriorated. Their marriage only lasted a week and Gavin had already sacrificed a lot to get to this point, so he would not let anything stand in the way of their marriage.
"Can?" tanyanya.
"Byeah, Mas. Coincidentally ibuk is not at home, so there is only Mas Karel as Mbak Kalea aja. Come on, Mas." Mpok Nuriah walked first and Gavin followed behind.
Occasionally Gavin circulated a glance as they reached the living room. His attention was immediately focused on a large photo frame displayed on the wall of the living room. Instead of finding family photos like those commonly found in most people's homes, he found the picture frame contained portraits of Karel and Kalea who were wearing white-gray uniforms. The photo seems to have been taken on their graduation day, as seen from their uniform which is already full of so many signatures from different people. Kalea seemed to be smiling so widely, hugging Karel's arms tightly and leaning her head on the man's shoulder. From the photo alone, Gavin could already tell how close Kalea was to Karel. That bright smile, Gavin had not seen him at all since they met two months ago. The eyes filled with blissful glare also seemed to only be fixed for a single Karel.
Gavin smiled in horror at the fact that another man had spent time with Kalea, understood her well and had been the source of the girl's cheer more than she had called for the fulfillment of her head. Then it made him again question the path of destiny that felt so complicated for him. Why should he? The question re-present fills his head, only to make him curse his life's destiny more than ever before.
"Just walk straight until you get out the door, I want to clean up the kitchen."
Gavin stopped his steps, turning to Mpok Nuria who had already stopped swinging her legs in the kitchen doorway.
"Thank you." He said then continued his steps.
His heart suddenly beat at a faster tempo as Kalea's voice was heard by him. Gavin walked closer to the door to be able to hear the conversation between Kalea and Karel more clearly. But when he could actually hear what Kalea was saying, he immediately regretted his decision. Maybe it's better that he doesn't come here, because now the pain in his chest feels more agonizing.
"*So right at the hotel, I accidentally met Irina."
"Irina? The model you asked me yesterday to help you find out the information on the internet?"
"Yes." Yeah."
"Continue?"
"Yes, I was talking to him for a while, because there was Gavin and I don't think they knew each other yet. But, Rail, something's weird."
"What?"
"Since there was Gavin, Irina did not lose sight of him at all. It was as if they were people who had known each other and hadn't seen each other for a long time. I squirm that there was a longing for the gaze that Irina was looking at Gavin, but just as I tried to check Gavin's expression, he looked even more ordinary. Gavin natap Irina is like a stranger who just met."
"Well, where is it?"
"It's weird, Rel. If there are two people where the other one behaves like a familiar and the other behaves like a stranger, that means they're pretending they don't know and there's something they're trying to hide."
"Hidden? Hide what try?"
"Not knowing, R. Obviously, after meeting Irina, Gavin became strange. He was more diem even daydreaming often. I just until the death to not eat so confused he again why. That's why I went home alone, because I was confused, Rel. I don't know Gavin anymore why because he won't say, so I can't help anything*."
Then the next conversation can no longer digest Gavin because his head back noisily. Again Gavin had taken the wrong step. Supposedly, when he saw the car in the basement of the hotel, he immediately took Kalea away from there, no matter what. Not even reckless to bring Kalea into the hotel and make this meeting happen. Where did his confidence come from? How could he be sure of being able to grasp two hands at once at a time? Gavin is a fool, and thanks to his stupidity, he might lose more things that he should be able to keep until the end.
Not wanting more tightness to fill his chest, Gavin decided to move from there. He doesn't want to listen to anything anymore, not for now.
In the kitchen, Mpok Nuriah was busy with various cooking utensils. At first Gavin intended to pass the woman just like that without saying goodbye, but then he remembered something until finally decided to take the time to approach Mpok Nuria, just to say. "Please don't tell Kalea that I came here."
"Well, why Mas?"
"I have a sudden business, so can't see Kalea now. I don't want Kalea to sulk if I know I came here but I don't find her." The lie, and Mpok Nuriah believed.
"Oh, that. Okay, deh, Mas."
"Thank you." Gavin forced a smile, then walked quickly out of Karel's house.
Gavin hurriedly got back into his car, quickly installing a seatbelt and immediately stepped on the accelerator after sending a message to someone.
If he can't talk to Kalea now, then he should talk to her.
*****
About twenty minutes later, Gavin arrived at the hotel where his wedding and Kalea would be held. He waited long enough in the basement, deliberately parked the car in a place that is not affordable cctv camera in order to avoid new problems more serious. He grabbed the phone on the dashboard just to check whether the message he sent had reached the recipient or not. But he had not had time to turn on the phone screen, the door of his car was first knocked several times and he was forced to save his phone back.
Outside the car, there was a woman who was bending over, trying to peek through the dark car glass. Gavin moved quickly to unlock her so she could get in the car.
"Hi." Say hello to the woman briefly while closing the car door with a quick movement.
"Hi." Gavin greeted back, gasping for a glimpse before a kiss landed on his cheek.
"I don't think you'll see me again until your wedding day." The woman said, revealing a grin that made Gavin grimace.
The woman, Irina, did not answer. Instead, he turned his eyes away, far ahead at the ranks of cars parked neatly in a quiet basement. There is no denying that there is a sense of worry when he decided to accept Gavin's invitation to meet here, considering there could be someone who sees them and raises new rumors that will muddy the atmosphere. His name is not too good due to rumors of his date with Gabriel Permana, so if there are other rumors that appear, he may actually have to give up because in the world of modeling finished here.
"Rin," call Gavin slowly.
Irina just cleared her throat in response. He was still reluctant to take his eyes off, making Gavin sigh in frustration.
"Can you look at me?" Gavin pleaded with a voice that sounded very sad, making Irina feel unbearable and finally turned her head.
The second when their eyes met, the two of them were both silent for quite a long time. Busy diving into each other's beads, channeling silenced longings and piling up in the chest because they both have not had a chance to convey that longing for the past few days.
"You still remember our promises, right?" ask her after settling into Irina's gray bead.
"Don't appear before Kalea, Rin. He can't know about us."
"You didn't let me meet just to talk about this? Vin, are you serious? I thought you miss me." There was a disappointment that was clearly visible in Irina's eyes.
"Rin, man,"
"I didn't meet him on purpose." Sela Irina fast. He's not stupid, though, so how could Gavin think he would be that determined to meet Kalea and dismantle their relationship at a time when what he had to do was to be silent in order to save their relationship and also his career horn end? Why would Gavin be worried that Kalea would know about their relationship? Why does Gavin make her feel like a bad woman who is secretly dating someone else's future husband, when in fact, she was the one left behind so that Gavin could marry another woman?
"You don't have to be afraid, I won't mess around. If you want me out of your life though, I'll do it." Annoyed Irina. He no longer knows how to hide his feelings of regret that he had been alone. How does Gavin know how much he can't sleep every night thinking the man he loves is getting married to another woman? How does Gavin know how scared he is that he will actually fall in love with the woman he marries and will eventually be left alone? Gavin doesn't know. Because if the man knew, he wouldn't have put Irina in the difficult situation she is in right now.
"Don't say that, Rin. You make my heart hurt."
I'm sicker, Vin.
Irina averted her eyes, just as one tear drop came down her cheek, and she quickly wiped it off. He doesn't want to be a whiny right now. They had agreed to let this matchmaking happen in order to save things. And everything has gone so far, it must not falter.
"Rin," Gavin touched Irina's hand, but the girl remained unmoved.
"sorry. I don't mean to hurt you anymore. I'm just worried about that"
"If I'm going to unload everything and make your marriage fail, right? Why the hell, Vin, can't you trust me? Have I never promised you that I will? Ever been?" Irina brushed aside Gavin's rough hands, staring intently at the man who was now leaning his body closer towards her.
"No, Rin,"
"Keep what?!" Irina shouted in annoyance, expressing all the emotions she had been enduring all this time.
"What, Vin? What are you worried about?" irina's voice is weakening. Tears that he had been able to hold so as not to fall are now flowing profusely like a leaking faucet. Irina nodded, her shoulders up and down and her breathing felt tight because the weight on her chest felt so heavy.
While Irina was crying, Gavin was busy cursing himself. In one day, he had made two women sick days. The only one he made confusion to be haunted by endless fret, the other he made to cry until as much as he pleased before his eyes. Presumably, the damn fate that followed him all along has managed to make Gavin a real jerk. Now, he no longer just hates the fate of his life, but Gavin also begins to hate himself.
Gavin grabbed Irina's body that was shaking violently from the crying. He held the body tightly, rubbed the woman's back gently and let Irina's tears fall down her shirt. For minutes he remained in that position, until Irina's sobbing began to subside and he pushed slowly on her body just to create a meaningless distance. He looked at the beautiful face that was now filled with traces of tears, he wiped the remaining tears left on Irina's marble cheeks using his thumb. Gavin stared at the now slightly flushed gray bead deeply, diving it in earnest before landing a kiss on his thin lips that was daubed with bright red lipstick.
"Sorry" he whispered softly.
Irina did not reply, but through the look in her eyes, Gavin knew the woman would always accept him. So in a slow motion, he brought his face closer, bringing himself closer to the woman who had filled his heart for two years. Her hands that were still on Irina's cheeks moved slowly again, rubbing the cheeks that looked more thin before their lips met again. Initially just a light kiss, but over time the light kisses that Gavin gave changed to **************** are filled with subtle longing, mixed with a sense of regret that will never disappear from the mind of Gavin. They move slowly, do not demand each other and just want to convey their feelings through the delicate touch of their lips. The two closed, slowly emptying their heads as the kiss deepened and intense. They tried to forget all the strange whack, decided to momentarily enjoy the sweet taste of each other's lips before the distance between them would again unfold and this kind of opportunity might not come often.
"I love you, Rin." Gavin's whisper in between their mornings that had been released when they gave a pause to take a breath.
"I know." Irina retorted, then she stretched out her hand to the back of Gavin's neck, swiped her fingers to comb the fine strands of Gavin's hair and brought the man's head closer to her. Again he sipped the thick lips of Gavin, this time more greedy, like a traveler who finally met the spring in the barren wilderness.
Gavin lets Irina do as she pleases, leading the game with no intention of stopping whatever the woman is doing. But when Irina's clenched fingers slowly touched her chest and tried to slip into the back of the shirt she was wearing, Gavin was forced to stop the movement of the small hand. Their pagutan was released, Irina distanced her face only to create a distance that was not too meaningful.
"I want you so bad, Vin." Whispering Irina, she rubbed Gavin's chest using her palm, feeling the man's heart beating like hers.
"Not now." Gavin grabbed Irina's hand that was on her chest, held it tightly then brought the hand before her and kissed it slowly. He let his lips rest on Irina's back for a few seconds before their gazes met again.
"Vin," call Irina slowly.
"Hmm?"
"Don't ever do this to Kalea."
"*Do what?"
"This*S*." Irina briefly kissed Gavin's lips, then grabbed the man's big hand and kissed the back of his hand exactly as Gavin had done to him earlier. "And this." Due to oath by whatever, Irina would not be willing to share this kiss with any woman, including Kalea. Gavin will marry another woman, but Irina won't let anyone touch hers.
Gavin did not answer, causing Irina to pull her chin back to look at him.
"Vin?"
"I promise." Gavin answered quickly. "I won't do this to Kalea." Gavin said, again landed a kiss on Irina's lips that had long made her opium.
"*You're mine, right?"
"Yeah, I'm yours*." Then Gavin pulled the body into a hug. Clutching her very tightly and starting to expect time to stop for a moment. She wants to enjoy her time with Irina more, before her wedding day with Kalea arrives and things will change.
"I'm yours, Rin. I'm yours." He said once again, trying to convince Irina, as well as himself.
