Refuge

After breakfast, Gavin transports the dirty dishes to the sink and takes care of everything. She did not let Kalea get out of her chair, forcing the woman to wait until she finished her remaining household chores.

Finished with a dirty plate, Gavin switched to cleaning the stove area and its surroundings that splashed oil and seasoning. After that, Gavin washed his hands and rushed over to Kalea who looked bored waiting in her seat.

Gavin bowed, about to lift Kalea's body but the woman hurriedly brushed him aside.

"Why?" ask Gavin wonder.

"I want to walk alone."

"Can you?"

Gavin's question apparently offended Kalea, so the woman now glared at Gavin with her lower lip slightly forward.

"What do you think I'm paralyzed?!" the upset.

Instead of being afraid to see Kalea upset, Gavin again chuckled. "Not that, I mean you can walk? That part doesn't hurt?"

Kalea reflexes tightened her thighs as Gavin called out the word with a clear gaze aimed at the lower half of her body.

"Revelation! I want to walk!" Kalea pushed Gavin's body slowly to get out of her sight.

Gavin said without much resistance. He re-enforced his body and shifted his body so that the princess of Kalea could pass.

Gavin chuckles at Kalea's cute way of walking. But as much as possible he could endure the harshness of not being heard by Kalea for fear that she would eat him alive.

As they reached the stairs, Kalea's steps grew even slower. He stopped at the fifth step, only to turn to Gavin and say "Mending you the way ahead." With a face that was too difficult for Gavin to read.

"No. I'll take care of you from behind. If I'm ahead, I won't know if you fall."

"It won't fall!"

"Nobody knows, Kalea. Hurry, the street." Gavin turned Kalea's body upside down and slightly pushed the woman's back to continue her steps.

Even while grumbling, Kalea still complies. One by one the remaining steps they climbed slowly until finally arrived at the door of the room.

Gavin breaks through Kalea's body, opens the door for his wife and allows her to enter first. Later, Gavin tells Kalea to sit on the bed while herself is busy dropping the suitcase from the top of the closet.

Seeing Gavin suddenly take out a large suitcase certainly made Kalea confused. What would the man do with the suitcase? But Kalea decided not to ask and observe what Gavin would do next.

Unexpectedly, the man began to stuff some pieces of their clothes into the suitcase. Unlike most men who usually just put clothes into a suitcase, Gavin put it with a feeling, still maintaining the original crease shape so as not to scatter.

"What are you doing, anyway?" kalea asked in the end after seeing Gavin finish putting on the clothes and closing the suitcase back.

Gavin raised his gaze until their gazes met. "From today on, we'll stay at Mama's house."

"Why?"

"Our house must be sterilized first, Kal. Besides, I'll feel calmer if you're at Mama's house, at least there's still someone who can help you look after you while I find out who the perpetrators of this exploration are." Gavin. The man then walked towards Kalea and sat himself on the edge of the bed.

"How long have we spent at Mom's? How do you pack so many clothes like people want to move forever?" kalea asked as she looked at the large black suitcase rather horrifiedly.

"For as long as possible, until I'm sure our house is safe again to live in." After saying that, Gavin got up. "Bring there, finish the shower we're off right away." Connect the man before exiting the room after grabbing the phone from the top of the nightstand.

Along the way to Mama's house, Kalea did not take her gaze away from Gavin. He was busy noticing how the man was so focused on driving. It was as if the rain of stormy winds were not even able to make the man draw his gaze from the streets.

Until finally the car they were riding in front of Mama's house. Mr. Dadang ran in a hurry to open the gate. The middle-aged man was seen rumbling as Gavin drove his car into the yard.

"Hello, Neng Kalea." Say hello to Mr. Dadang after Kalea got out of the car.

"Hello also Mr. Dadang! How's things? Healthy?" Kalea returned the greeting with great enthusiasm.

"Health, Neng. Neng Kalea is also healthy, right?"

"Health, dong..."

While Kalea and Mr. Dadang were chatting, Gavin covered the back of the car to drop off the luggage stored in the trunk. Then he dragged the suitcase and grabbed Kalea's hand to come with him.

"Who? How do you bring a suitcase, Mom? Would you like to stay here?" mister Dadang asked as his eyes caught the existence of the large suitcase in Gavin's hands.

"Yes, Sir. We're staying for the next few days. Ordinary, something's wrong with Mama." Gavin said casually while glancing at Kalea. Which glimpsed behind memicing because he felt himself being teased.

"Yes, sir, we're in first." Pamit Gavin's.

"Yes, Mas. Please."

Gavin and Kalea passed. Arriving at the front door, they were treated to a look of astonishment by Bi Imah who had just finished watering the plants. The woman was moved towards them while wiping her wet hands just to be able to wipe Kalea's arm a few times.

"Neng Kalea why not say it first? The rule of Aunty can masakin squid rica Neng's favorite." Bi Imah. The woman looked at Kalea fixedly. Like a mother who misses her little daughter after a long time apart.

Kalea chuckles. The sound of Bi Imah's hand on his arm then he held it tightly. "No need to bother, Bi. You can hear Auntie's voice again, Kalea's happy."

Bi Imah smiled at Kalea's words. Then the woman pulled Kalea's arm slowly and took her inside the house. Had forgotten the existence of Gavin before finally his steps stopped before reaching the living room.

Bi Imah turned around, smiling awkwardly at Gavin who could only shake his head at how enthusiastic Bi Imah was when she met Kalea.

"Come, Mas, come in."

Gavin nodded, then walked after Bi Imah and Kalea.

Arriving in the middle room, they were again asked the same question, this time coming from Mama. The woman had just emerged from the kitchen and immediately ran towards Kalea who would just sit on the sofa.

"You guys didn't come say anything first, did you?"

"Hoo his son cried, Ma, if you have to say it first." The sudden temptation of Gavin made Kalea snort miserably.

"Who is crying? Kalea cry?" ask Mama plainly. "Mommy's son why cry?"

Kalea would open her mouth to deny Gavin's accusation, but her husband had already seized his chance to speak by saying, "Mama's Kangen is with Papa."

"Gavin!!!" peekkik Kalea was upset which actually made everyone who was there chuckle.

Ha.. Kalea, you never realize that she is adorable when she is upset. Next time, should Gavin tell the woman how adorable she is?
