Terrors

Hearing the noise made Gavin's panic rise many times than before. With a worried chest rumbling, Gavin rushed over to the noise coming from the direction of the balcony.

Gavin was so focused on finding Kalea in the room that he didn't realize the balcony door was slightly open and the bone-white curtains covering it were blown away.

"Well?!" call Gavin with a vibrating voice. The panic had already completely taken hold of him so he could no longer use his brain to think.

When his feet hit the floor of the balcony, Gavin felt his body limp when he found Kalea already sitting limp on the floor with a body that vibrates. The woman covered her face using both palms and a faint sound escaped from the side of her lips.

Not far from where the woman was sitting, there were pieces of animal bodies that scattered and still bleed fresh. Just looking at him had already managed to make Gavin's empty stomach churn. The smell of rancid that pierces the nose also further aggravates the condition. He's nauseous, to be honest. But as much as possible Gavin resisted the turmoil in his stomach and rushed over to Kalea.

Drawn Kalea's body into the arms, then with the remnants of sanity she still had, Gavin tried to calm Kalea down.

"It's ok, Kal. I'm here now." His whisper while rubbing Kalea's back to relieve the vibrations in the woman's body.

In her arms, Kalea cried. Gavin could feel her tears seeping through the front of the shirt she was wearing. Not only that, Kalea just squeezed her shirt and the shakes on her body were getting worse.

Finally, Gavin took Kalea. Took him into a sling because he was not sure Kalea could walk on his own feet under these conditions.

Kalea just complies. The grip on Gavin's shirt is still left and even stronger. He hid his face in the chest of Gavin's field, letting his tears spill until it stopped on its own.

"It's ok, Boo." Bisik Gavin again after they went back into the room.

Gavin sat himself on the bed and placed Kalea in his lap. She let the woman use her chest as a hiding place while she herself was still trying to rack her brains to digest the situation they were in right now.

Minutes later, when the day suddenly changed and the time showed at half-hour one in the morning, Gavin felt the shakes in Kalea's body had completely subsided. Isakan was no longer coming out from his lips and the woman began to dare to lift her face.

Gavin grimaced as he found Kalea's face completely flushed red. His eyes were puffy and his lips looked very pale. He wanted to ask what happened, why Kalea could be on the balcony and where the carcass of the animal came from. But that intention he broke because he knew Kalea might not be able to say it now.

So, Gavin slowly tucked the strands of Kalea's hair behind his ears, rubbing his cheeks slowly while nailing his gaze to convince the woman in his lap that everything would be fine.

"It's ok. Everything's gonna be fine." Gavin hopes he can say that to himself. For deep down, he himself was not sure that their life would be all right.

Kalea did not answer. With the remains of tears that scored a trace on her tapered cheeks, Kalea again sunk her face into the chest of Gavin's field. This time not to cry, but to lament the masculine aroma that emanates from Gavin's body because Kalea has found that inhaling the male body scent was able to help him relieve so much of the fear that whack.

While Gavin increasingly felt his heart being sliced as he felt Kalea's arms getting tighter coiled around his waist.

...****************...

After making sure Kalea was asleep, Gavin walked back to his study.

After a few seconds of waiting, the laptop screen finally turned on. Gavin immediately moved his fingers on the keyboard and his eyes immediately swiftly scrutinized every piece of cctv camera installed around his house.

Gavin played back and forth the cctv footage, watching it over and over again to make sure nothing was missed by his eyes. Until then he found something from the last recorded video.

Gavin caught a black-clothed figure running across the street, approaching a parked car in the dark of night. There was no footage showing the figure being around his house, because it seems that the cctv was already sabotaged and the perpetrator did not think that his figure was still caught on camera when he wanted to escape.

"Who the f*ck trying to touch my wife?!" furious Gavin. Because, just capitalizing on this recording will not be enough to help him find out who did it. He would not even be able to confirm if this person was the same person who sent terror to Irina.

Feeling a dead end, Gavin could only sigh violently over and over again while ruining his own hair.

...****************...

A few hours earlier.

A man dressed in all black settles into the area of Gavin and Kalea's house after successfully climbing the fence with ease. In his hand there is a medium-sized gift box pink while in one hand there is a rope with a hook at the end.

The man drowned, making sure no one would catch him in the dark of night. Then, convinced that the action would be safe, the man began throwing the rope in his hand at the balcony guardrail in Gavin and Kalea's rooms. The gift box he had originally held was tied to the stomach and the man began to climb the rope he managed to hook without the slightest trouble.

It didn't take long for the man to reach the balcony of Gavin and Kalea's room. He then placed the gift box on the floor, right in front of the tightly closed door.

Then, he knocked on the door many times after peeking out of the gap to ascertain the situation. The one in the room was only Kalea, so this plan could go smoothly and the one who sent him here would definitely smile happily.

The knock she harbored managed to lure Kalea to walk closer towards the balcony. Before the woman reached the door, she hurried down using the rope and immediately re-cleaned the rope so as not to leave a trace.

After the rope was done, the man ran away from the house. Once again climb over the fence without any difficulty and hurriedly run across the street where his car is parked.

There, precisely in the car, someone was already waiting for him to make sure that their plan went smoothly. This was the first time the man had taken the plunge to monitor how he worked, so he obviously did not want to disappoint.

"Where?" ask the man in the front passenger seat.

"Safe." The man dressed in black.

Then there was no more conversation because they immediately poked the gas leaving the location.

Seriate.
