The sun had not yet appeared when Kalea walked out of the house in a white sports suit and blue running shoes given by Gavin. Behind him, Mama still rambles, warning not to forget the warm-up before they start running. He said, You haven't been a sport for years. Do not let his intention to be healthy even become sick all over the body!
Haaa... Mama is just there. Did he and Gavin really run away? Kan doesn't. Kalea believes Gavin will only invite him to run around the little kemduian followed by a leisurely walk and ended with a vegetable lontong breakfast. Isn't that always the case? From FTV that he had watched during Junior High, heck, the scene was so.
"Hello, Kalea."
Kalea smiled at Gavin who was waiting for him in front of the gate, before he was cool to talk with Mr. Dadang.
The man looks more handsome in a black sports suit that fits on the body. Make the man's chest and stomach muscles printed clearly. Don't forget those intimidating looking arm muscles. Lord, Kalea feels like she's dreaming of dealing with this man.
"Ready?"
Kalea just nodded. He resigned only when Gavin grabbed his hand, clasped his hand tightly then they walked along out the gate after Gavin had made small talk with Mr. Dadang. Actually Kalea did not know Gavin would take her jogging where.
"We're running the muterin complex, huh? It's good enough to burn fat."
Kalea is just. They both started moving. Kalea's hand was still in Gavin's. He occasionally glanced at the tall man walking slowly beside him. It still felt like a dream as he decided to start an approach with Gavin after previously he was so stubborn as to reject this matchmaking. If Karel knew how Kalea looked in awe at Gavin's current figure, the boy would surely have bogged down Kalea all out.
But Kalea won't fight. He will not chimed in if Karel later mocked him and met him plin plan. Because Kalea never thought she would be willing to give this man a chance to get into her life. Not because of his handsome face, Kalea thought he could accept the presence of Gavin because the man constantly showed a cool side in front of him. Kalea still remembers how pounding she was when Gavin said that Kalea was fun.
"I don't usually run away."
Kalea almost cursed because Gavin suddenly turned his head while he was still busy admiring the perfect sculpture on the man's face. He did not want to be caught admiring this man. Not in this short time.
"Continue, why suddenly take me for a morning run?" ask Kalea. Despite being caught staring at Gavin, Kalea had no intention of turning her face away at all. He still looked at the man.
"Because I don't know how to approach a girl. I love sports, so this is all I can think of." Gavin said ending an unusually charming smile.
Kalea had no idea what had happened to her as her fingers moved recklessly tightening their hands, ignoring Gavin's forehead which slowly shriveled due to her brazen act.
"Gavin," Kalea said softly. Their steps had stopped, just as the sun began to appear to be poking out from behind a collection of white clouds.
Gavin did not speak. The man simply replied through the gaze of his eyes as if to say, "What? Just tell me everything. Same me, you can get all your thoughts out without worrying about anything."
"Why did you agree to meet with me? That is, men like you usually won't have much time for this kind of silly stuff." Kalea had no idea where the question came from. Because before this, it was completely unthinkable about this at all.
Unexpectedly, Gavin chuckled. He pulled Kalea closer to him, clasping her hand tighter. "I initially refused." Rich Gavin so frankly.
"Just like you said, I'm busy. There is so much work I have to deal with. And I also have my own little dreams that I want to achieve - beyond my duty to help the company grow."
"But, Kalea, there was one time where I thought there was no harm in trying. I'm a coward, if you want to know. Rather than fearing that the person I was going to meet was not what I wanted, I was more afraid that I might not be able to meet that person's expectations."
"But Mother assured me that night, that you are not the one who will judge others that easily. Mother tells you many interesting things calm you. About how you grew up to be a beautiful girl who was never afraid to do what you wanted. I like people like that, Kalea. I like people who dare to do something they like without fear of the judgment of others. Because honestly, I'm not that kind of person. Like I said before, I'm a coward."
Kalea. Suddenly lost the ability to process words. His body froze as he found a speck of sadness hidden behind the intoxicating dark bead. Even though Gavin was smiling at the moment, the smile did not reach his eyes at all. Those dark eyes, slowly appeared dim.
*****
The sun was already shining overhead when Kalea stopped her foot swing. He bowed with a breath of breath, still inexhaustible thought that he who was his mager for mercy could actually run around the vast housing complex.
"More,"
Kalea looked up, finding Gavin standing looming in front of her while holding out a bottle of mineral water whose lid had been opened. The man seemed to be shining under the hot sun this morning. The sweat running from his temples down to wet his clothes - making his chest muscles more clearly printed - did not bother Kalea at all. In fact Gavin looks a thousand times more handsome thanks to the sweaty whirlpool.
"Thanks." -." Kalea grabbed the mineral water from Gavin's hand and immediately gulped it down half-out. His throat immediately felt plump as the water flow walked past him.
"You're hungry, aren't you?" gavin asked after seizing the bottle of mineral water from Kalea's hand, sipping the remaining water.
Kalea gawked as Gavin drank straight from the bottle that had already exposed his lips. In this case, they are kissing indirectly.
"Kalea?"
"Huh? What's?"
"Long again?"
"Not dumb, really. Just don't hear what you're saying."
"Little."
"Chicken slurry, will you?" bargain Gavin.
Kalea just nodded her head. He was still too shocked due to Gavin's previous actions. The thing is, they only got to know yesterday and it feels weird that Gavin suddenly doesn't mind sharing a drink with him.
"Yaudah, come. We're eating chicken porridge near the park, huh?" the bottle of water was empty, but Gavin still held it in one hand as the other hand moved to grab Kalea's hand. It was only when they found the trash can on the side of the road that they passed, that empty bottle Gavin threw away. Once again Kalea was amazed, because in addition to handsome, Gavin apparently also cares about the environment.
Then Kalea complied as Gavin led her to the garden not far from where they had stood before. From a distance of a few meters, he could already see the subscription chicken porridge carts he used to buy with Karel - in case they weren't getting up late on Sunday.
"You wait here, let me order." Gavin said, hinting at Kalea to sit on the plastic bench that the porridgeist had provided.
After that Gavin walked closer to the brother of the porridge seller who was busy making orders. Kalea's eyes narrowed when she found two young women - apparently younger than herself - whispering to each other and repeatedly being caught staring at Gavin. The man seemed to not care at all. He was engrossed in playing the phone, probably taking care of some abandoned work during their running activity earlier.
"It's only natural that they see it until it's like that, Gavin is really handsome." Kalea Mumbles. He admitted Gavin was handsome. But more than that, Kalea felt Gavin was someone warm. Yes, yes, Kalea knows maish too early to judge a person's character from just two encounters. But at least, that's how Kalea's assessment of Gavin has been so far.
Shortly after the two women passed away with the porridge of his order - and briefly stole a glance at Gavin once more - Kalea saw Gavin walking towards him with two bowls of chicken porridge. Thin smoke seemed to be billowing from the bowl with the picture of the rooster, a sign that the porridge inside was still quite hot.
Gavin thrust a bowl of porridge at Kalea before pulling another plastic stool and starting to sit on it. Knowing the porridge is still hot, Gavin has prepared by asking the brother of the porridge seller to provide a small plate as a placemat so that Kalea does not overheat when holding it.
"Well, where do I know I don't like peanuts?" kalea asked when she realized there was no sprinkling of beans on top of her chicken porridge. Instead, there were more chives there.
Gavin who had already lifted his spoon practically stopped. The spoonful of porridge was stuck in front of his mouth because Gavin had to answer Kalea's question first. "Your mom." Then a spoonful of porridge made it into his mouth.
Again Kalea was made to be amazed by Gavin's attitude. This man seems to be the artist to be close to himself to be willing to find out everything about him. Kalea felt guilty for having rejected this matchmaking idea. If he knew what he would meet was a gentle figure like this, he would probably agree to this matchmaking sooner.
"Mom tell you what?" ask Kalea before scooping her porridge. Suddenly he was worried that Mama would talk strange things to Gavin.
"All the things I want to know."
"What do you want to know about me?"
"Much."
"One of them?"
"Secret."
Kalea throbbed as Gavin replied with a shitty look. Just look at his rancid facial expression, fortunately he was handsome, so Kalea would not equate Gavin with Karel even though their annoying expressions were actually similar.
"Look, you'll know."
The porridge in their bowl is finished. Gavin deftly took over the empty bowl from Kalea's hand and brought it to the seller. After talking briefly to the seller and paying for their porridge, Gavin returned with a brighter look. I don't know what the man was talking about with the porridge seller until he could change the look of his face to that extent.
"Come on." Gavin took Kalea's hand, carrying the taut fingers to interlock with her long fingers.
"What are you talking to, brother?" ask Kalea. He could not help but be curious as a smile rose on Gavin's handsome face.
"You know?" Gavin turned his head, slightly looking down to see Kalea who was only as tall as he should be.
"I wouldn't know if I didn't want to know!" Kalea glared, only to make Gavin laugh.
"What's so funny, anyway?" Kalea stopped her steps. And Gavin also reflexes to stop stepping.
"You." Gavin said so lightly.
"So the brother of the porridge seller said, you glared at the two women who were in line to buy porridge because they stole a glance at me. He said, you can eat them alive right then and there."
"Why? You're jealous because I'm being harassed by another woman?"
"No! There's nothing!" Kalea felt her cheeks hot. He's ashamed! How could the porridge seller complain like that to Gavin? After all, how could that fellow see what Kalea was doing while her hands were busy preparing orders? Or maybe the brother of the porridge seller has eyes on the back of his head? Iiiihh.
Gavin did not reply, but from the man's eyes, Kalea felt Gavin was mocking himself. So before her cheeks got hotter and red as rotten tomatoes, Kalea removed her hand from Gavin's hand. He ran away leaving Gavin chuckling satisfied to see him misbehaving.
