After waiting for nearly two hours, the lab results finally came out. Gavin was told that Kalea had dengue fever. The doctor said Kalea was lucky because it was still in early symptoms and Gavin immediately took her to the hospital. Because if it's late, the state of Kalea can be worse than that.

For now, Gavin can breathe a sigh of relief because Kalea fever has gone down thanks to a heat-lowering drug that doctors gave and the woman has been transferred to a first-class inpatient room. Of course, Gavin was willing to let Kalea be treated in a room with mediocre facilities.

Kalea's parents have also told Gavin. Papa had to go to the office first to hand over the job with a confidant, he said, Mama and Bi Imah were on their way to the hospital while Mommy who had called asking for her whereabouts who was not at home was now sitting sweetly in the chair next to the bed of a Kalea patient.

Gavin raised his gaze from the cell phone, noticing how Mother painstakingly fed Kalea with her own cooked porridge. Occasionally the woman seemed to wipe the sweat dripping from Kalea pepilis using the back of her hand, then back to feed spoon by spoon until now the porridge in the bowl was almost finished.

"Vin?" call Mother slowly.

Gavin immediately got up from the sofa and walked over to Mother. He occasionally glanced at Kalea who looked pale and weak in her bed.

"Why, Bun?" tanyakanya.

"Mother forgets not told Papa yet. You call Papa gih, tell him that Kalea's being treated."

Gavin nodded his head and immediately pulled out the phone from his pants pocket. Not wanting to be noisy, Gavin decides to call Papa outside.

It took more than eight times the voice of the connection until Papa finally picked up his phone.

"Hello, Vin?" greet Papa from across the phone. "What's wrong?"

"Gavin just wants to know that Kalea is now in the hospital. Mommy's here, in case Papa wants to know." Gavin said to the point. It had been a long time since his relationship with his father had deteriorated. And Gavin seems to be in no mood to fix anything between them.

There was a pause long enough until Papa spoke again, just to ask. "What pain does it hurt?"

"Symptoms of dengue fever." Again Gavin answered only as necessary.

"Send Papa's greetings to Kalea, hopefully soon to heal. Afternoon after work, Papa will take the time to visit."

Gavin did not answer. He was too lazy to follow those words. Especially when he caught the sentence if he had what he thought was completely unethical to say. If it is not the intention to come, you should not have to bother making small talk.

Because he was fed up with his father, Gavin immediately turned off the phone. He was about to return to Kalea's hospital room when his eyes caught a familiar male figure walking in from a distance.

Gavin squinted his eyes, only to make sure he wasn't looking wrong.

Then as the men got closer and their gazes finally met, Gavin was convinced that it was Taruna.

Gavin was quite surprised by the presence of the Midshipman, as well as the man who looked just as surprised. So surprised, Taruna even stopped her steps for a while before returning to walk closer.

"What's going on here? Who's sick?" ask Taruna after being in front of Gavin. The man seemed to be trying to peek behind the door of the nursery that was beside them.

"Calea." Gavin answered briefly.

"What pain?" ask Taruna again, now fully paying attention to Gavin.

"Bloody fever."

The cadet nodded his head several times. Then he looked back at Gavin as the man asked back, "Why is Lo here? Who's sick?"

"My son, his bronchitis is relapsing. It just so happened that the room was right next door." Said Taruna while pointing at the room next to Kalea's nursery.

Silence surrounded the two human children for a long time. Until finally, their attention was stolen as the cell phone inside the pocket of the Midshipmen's pants rang out loud.

The cadets immediately reached into the pockets of the pants and pulled out the cell phone from there. The flat object is then affixed to the ear after the owner shifts the green log.

"Hello, Ma?" greet Taruna.

From his call, Gavin assumes that the one who called was his mother Taruna.

"Taruna's in front, coming in soon."

"Yes, have Sierra wait a minute."

"okay."

After the conversation that only Gavin could hear one side was over, the phone closed. The cadets re-assured his cell phone then raised their eyes so that their gazes met again.

"Gue has to go in now, Sierra's been fussy nyariin continues." Taruna. "Greetings for Kalea, may soon be healed." Further.

"Yes, greetings to Sierra."

The cadet just nodded, then she turned around and immediately entered the Sierra ward.

Shortly after Taruna disappeared behind the door, Gavin also returned to Kalea's ward.

When the door opened, Gavin could not help but smile as he watched Mother playing with Kalea's hair. The woman was combing Kalea's hair carefully, like she was combing her own daughter's hair.

"No need to combed Bun, he is also usually rarely left at home." Tempt Gavin as soon as he reached the side of Kalea's bed.

The one who was mocked turned his head while squinting dislike eyes. Her lips pouted so as to make her thin cheeks slightly bulging.

"Have a son! I'm always a sideline, you know!" upset Kalea, who actually invited laughter Gavin and Mother.

"Well, Mommy, why laugh, anyway?! Bummer!"

Responding to the protest, Mother's laughter even more so, as well as Gavin who is now sitting in a chair beside the bed. So satisfied to laugh, Gavin's face even reddened.

"That's funny, anyway, Mother's daughter-in-law." Mother said after her laughter subsided. The woman's hand touched Kalea's cheek then gave a small pinch there, making the owner grimace because it felt a little sore.

"Funny, right, Bun?" Gavin follow nimbrung. "Eat him Gavin likes." He nodded as he looked at Kalea and silently blinked one eye, making Kalea's cheeks start to heat up.

Whoa... Gavin likes not knowing where to be. Though Kalea was sick, but she could still tease the woman.

Hearing Gavin's words and Kalea's adorable reaction, Mommy just smiles. There was a lot of concern about Gavin's marriage to Kalea. He was worried that this marriage would not go well, because at first Gavin was so hard to resist this matchmaking.

But it seemed like that worry was no longer necessary for him to think about. For now, with her own eyes, she has witnessed how Gavin and Kalea fell in love.
