Two Phones

I don't know how long Kalea has been silent at the dinner table, looking without interest at a plate of fried rice with a topping of hard-earned beef eggs Mama made. Next to her, Karel still did not stop raving about many things. The fried rice on his plate had run out shortly after serving, but somehow the boy still did not want to leave the dining table and instead continued to roam like a parrot.

Though Kalea was not wanting to listen to the unimportant chatter of Karel. Because since then, who managed to steal his attention is a phone with a dim screen on the table.

Yeah, it's Gavin's cell phone that's strangely showing no signs of life since last night. Not a single notification entered the phone, making Kalea astonished because it felt impossible the phone of a businessman like Gavin could be this lonely. But even more bizarre is the fact that Gavin is not trying to find his phone at all. Is it that busy Gavin to not realize that his phone does not exist?

"If you lo pelototin until your eyeballs are dislodged even though, it's hape will not change shape to dinosurus." Karel's stern chirps made him look over.

"How much of a hobby is waiting for news from Gavin? It's not just the phone gas." Karel Librarians. In the midst of his annoying chatter, the rancid boy still had time-four to pluck the cow's eye eggs from the Kalea plate and then devoured them in one feed.

"Who's waiting to hear from Gavin!" elak Kalea, just to make Karel stop chewing and look at her julid.

"Siipi jigi ying ninggi kibir selves givin! Bacot, ai sia!" cerocos Karel after completing the chew and the cow's eye eggs have moved into his stomach. "The blind can also see that you are waiting for news from Gavin."

"So you know!" Kalea grunts. His back he hurled roughly onto the back of the chair while his hands were folded in front of his chest. He had a quick glance at Gavin's phone on the table before turning to look sharply at Karel. "Lagian Gavin won't be able to connect with me."

Eleven of Karel's eyebrows were raised as a sign of confusion.

"Hape is like me, no." Kalea pointed at Gavin's phone using her chin.

"Well, how can you?"

"Yes, don't know! Ask the same person." I don't know why Kalea was upset. The annoying expression on Karel's face also made his frustration even more so.

Karel grunted disdainfully. What mistake did he have to accept Kalea's anger this early? "This is so if the distribution of patience is not present, so the emotions are mulu." His grunts, but unkempt he reached out to take Gavin's phone.

For a moment, Karel stared at the phone with various assumptions in his head. Until finally he decided to unlock the screen, ignoring Kalea who began to babble so that he did not do anything on Gavin's phone.

"What do you want, anyway?!" Kalea tried to recapture Gavin's phone, but Karel hurriedly held the phone up so high that Kalea could not reach it.

"Why in the first place, anyway? Don't be human." Said Karel while getting up from his seat. His gaze was still fixed on the phone screen while his fingers began to be busy scrolling the screen.

Shortly after, Karel placed the black flat object into his ear. A faint frown appeared on Kalea's forehead as the woman still did not understand what Karel was doing. Who was that guy calling?

"Hello." Greet Karel to someone across the street.

Kalea was not given a chance to listen to the conversation afterwards as Karel hurriedly left from before her, walking briskly towards the courtyard later as her mouth spoke.

Kalea could have gone after Karel, but she didn't. Because honestly he had no strength to rise from his sitting position. I don't know, he's been feeling weak since he woke up this morning.

So Kalea could only wait until Karel returned while resuscitating his head on the dining table. He pushed the fried rice plate away and then began to close his eyes. Maybe this effect because he slept early in the morning, now his head feels so heavy and a little dizzy.

"Si Gavin is getting here more and more there, before long." His grunts with eyes closed so that he did not realize that Karel was already standing behind him, tracing his waist with his head that shook slowly.

"Perkara hape miss doang aja sampe make you weak tired lethargic like a person has been left dead with his partner." Cynical Karel.

"Wait a minute, just wait for the guy to come and take the hapenya." Say Karel while putting Gavin's phone back on the dining table. Then after that Karel just passed by, leaving Kalea who was still silent with question marks in her head.

******

"Vin, man,"

Gavin raised his head from the bowl of chicken soup before him. Across the table, Papa looked at him with a frown on his forehead that looked so obvious. While next to Papa, Mommy looks so calm when carrying a spoonful of rice in front of her mouth and directly devouring it.

"Hape you missed at Kalea's house."

For a moment, Gavin thought it was a question. But after he digested Papa's words again, he realized that it was not a question but a statement.

"Hape?" gavin asked in confusion. He then glanced over the table, at a dark blue flat object whose screen seemed dim. Then he lifted his face again, looking at Papa. "Hape Gavin is there, isn't it."

"The other one, the one you just bought. Karel called Papa, tell him that your phone has the same Kalea."

Gavin pulls out an oh long when he starts to catch Papa's talking point. Indeed, since returning from Kalea's house last night he had not checked the phone at all. He was too upset, too focused to finish his affairs with Irina regarding the Cadets. He had just returned home from Irina's apartment after the sun had fully risen, so he didn't have time to realize that the phone wasn't there with him.

"Don't have two eaves?"

Gavin turned his gaze to Mother who looked frowning. A spoonful of rice that was about to be bribed into the mouth hung in the air.

"Yes." Yeah." Gavin answered briefly. Then after sipping water from the glass, he again made a sound. "Intentionally, let the separation between business contacts be the same as personal contacts."

Mother just nodded her head and then continued her eating activities. Compared to the upside with Papa who is now looking at him full of search. Gavin clearly realizes that Papa has a lot of suspicion directed at him, but he decides not to care.

"Later if you want to take a hape to the house of Kalea, say the same Mother. Mommy wants to nitip something for Kalea." Mother said after finishing her meal.

"Yes, Gavin will say. At most it was a little afternoon Gavin to the house of Kalea." Gavin said as he got up from his seat. He snatched the cell phone from the table and then immediately passed from the dining table.

His steps were not at all impressed in a hurry as he scrambled up the stairs towards his room. Then his footsteps came to a halt at the last rung of the stairs when a message entered his phone.

Papa

What are you hiding, Vin?

Gavin decided not to reply to the message and resumed his steps.

Arriving in the room, Gavin immediately jumped up on the mattress, lay down and closed his eyes. The question that Papa had sent out through the text message had returned to his head. If only the truth about him had never been revealed, he would have been happy to answer Papa's question. Because he is always open to Papa and Mommy. But now things are different. Ever since he knew how bastard Papa was in the past, Gavin had decided to build a high barrier with his biological father. I don't know, Gavin has just seen Papa in a different way now.

"Huh.bajangan." he muttered slowly as the emotions suddenly rose without cause.
