Gavin squinted his eyes, staring at the figure of Karel sitting next to Kalea. Enjoying her kimchi fried rice while occasionally joking with Kalea who happily responded to it.
Later, Gavin switched to Kalea. No less upset when he found his wife was laughing at the joke that Karel had just thrown. Just then, after Karel shouted that their food was done cooking, Kalea immediately took a sitting position opposite him, balking at the idea he offered to sit side by side and instead chose to sit next to the Karel shucks. Well, so upset, Gavin even to have a new nickname for Karel.
"Mama said I bought the NCT album, 2 versions at once." Kalea said with a carefree tone. Her mouth was still full of kimchi fried rice, but it did not make the woman lose the determination to tell the happy news.
Beside him, Karel seemed to be smiling broadly. Clap your hands twice and then gulp water from the glass after swallowing the fried rice in the mouth. Then, the man said. "This is your first girlfriend's album, right? The Moon?"
Kalea nodded. "Yes, the album is Mas Bulan." He answered with a perfect smile. "This year it seems like there will be a concert, later if the date has been fixed, you help me war?"
"Ready!" Karel had a respectful attitude. Smiling brightly to Kalea then glanced at Gavin and smiled mockingly. The boy seemed to want to show Gavin that he was the one Kalea had always relied on. "Well watch it with me, will you?"
"You wanna come?"
"Yes, I want to see Jono."
"Jeno!" Kalea.
Seeing Kalea's expression instantly turn irritated made Karel laugh. Actually he deliberately changed the name Jeno to Jono because he likes to see the reaction of Kalea like this. It looks funny in his eyes.
"Yes, yeah. Jenos. The genius of the most handsome Kalea in the universe."
The sentence was like a magic spell that managed to change Kalea's facial expression from pouting to sumringah. Not only sumringah, the cheeks of Kalea even began to blush.
"Jeno's a good-looking guy, anyway." Kalea Mumbles. Then, it starts to spoon again the food into the mouth.
"But it's still my car."
"Where is it." Cibir Kalea with half full mouth.
"Currently, don't believe. Later you ask me the same Mama, who is more handsome between me and Jeno. Mama would say I'm more handsome." Carrel said confidently.
Kalea did not respond. Lazy. Karel's confidence level is high. And arguing that man will produce nothing at all. So Kalea just let Karel win and considered himself more handsome than Jeno. Kalea didn't care much and decided to continue her meal.
Meanwhile, Gavin begins to get upset because he seems not to be involved in the chat. Gavin put the spoon he was holding in a slightly slammed motion. Making Karel and Kalea in unison turn towards him with their eyebrows linked together.
Without saying anything, Gavin got up from his chair. Fried rice on a plate even just reduced by two or three spoons, but Gavin was no longer tasteful to eat it. So he decided to leave the dining table, ignoring the faint whispers that came out from the lips of Julid Karel.
"Didih, what's the man?"
"don't know. Time and again."
"I think it's less stuff."
"It can be."
"Be careful, I said, fearing the devil is fierce, ntar lo eaten again."
"No, the devil is afraid of me."
Where else would Gavin go if not to the backyard. Now, he sits himself on a wooden swing. His body moved back and forth so that the swing could move swinging his body.
While swinging his body, his mind floated back. He thought back to Irina. He checked his phone to see if the woman had replied to the messages he had sent or not, and he still got nothing.
Gavin sighed. This is so unnatural. Never in her whole life has Irina behaved like this. More than annoyed, Gavin begins to worry. Afraid that something bad might happen to her boyfriend. Moreover, the usual cadets he asked for information also participated could not be contacted.
If so, where else should Gavin look?
"Gavin's." Kalea's melodious voice managed to disperse Gavin's mind. He turned his head, finding Kalea already standing three steps from the swing where he was sitting. The woman came with a plate of apples that had been cut into small pieces.
"Would you talk to your best friend?" ask Gavin by emphasizing on the word friend. Undeniably, he still felt annoyed because Kalea to the point of ignoring herself because of Karel.
"Not yet."
Gavin gawked as Kalea answered so. He looked at Kalea in disbelief. His lips were half open and completely at a loss for words.
Kalea walked over while making a smile. Enjoying the expression on Gavin's face at the moment. After he reached Gavin's side, Kalea immediately sat on the other swing. Then, "Open his mouth." Kalea thrust a piece of apple into Gavin's mouth.
Instead of opening his mouth as Kalea ordered, Gavin threw away his face. Her lower lip went forward a few inches, pouting in such a funny way in Kalea's eyes.
Kalea wanted to laugh out loud. Laughing at how Gavin began to blatantly show a childish attitude that has been covered with a fierce face and serious look. But of course Kalea didn't do it. Because the purpose of coming here was to persuade Gavin to stop sulking. If he laughs, Gavin will get even more upset.
"Open his mouth, Gavin. You just ate two spoons, at least eat this apple first so that your stomach is not too empty." Persuade Kalea. But then again, Gavin was still clamoring.
Upset that Gavin was not responding, Kalea got up from the swing. With a stomping step, he walked in front of Gavin. Arriving in front of the man, Kalea immediately thrust out a piece of apple and stuffed it into Gavin's mouth without waiting for him to open his mouth first.
Shocked by his mouth suddenly crammed with pieces of apples, Gavin reflexively opened his mouth wide so that the piece of apple could enter his mouth.
"Smart kid." Praise Kalea. Then, he landed a pat on Gavin's head. A clap that managed to make the owner of the head stop chewing and cast a gaze that was too difficult to translate.
"Kal," called Gavin quietly after a long silence.
"What?"
"Don't cuekin me."
Kalea broke off the intention to thrust another piece of apple. The regret on Gavin's face had completely evaporated, out of nowhere, out of nowhere. Now, that dark bead looks cute. It was as if there was a lot of sadness that had been piled up for a long time there. Sadness that is so painful and too hard to be taken for granted.
"I don't like to be ignored."
Instead of answering, Kalea moved slowly to put the plate on the table not far from where she stood. He then took one step forward, drawing closer to Gavin before clutching the man's body into his arms.
"It's an apology because I've nyuekin you." Kalea said as she rubbed Gavin's head slowly. "But after this, you still have to keep a distance of two meters from me."
"Kaall."
Kalea chuckles. "Two meters isn't that far, Gavin." Her speech. Then no more protest came out of Gavin's mouth as Kalea pulled the man's head so that their gazes met. "You still have to keep your distance. But if I'm the one who walks towards you first, no problem, right?"
"I'll get closer to you, Gavin. Slow down."
Seriate.
