What's The Problem?

If you are in his studio, Kalea will immediately forget everything that revolves around him. Because he will be so focused on exploring the world he created himself. A world where he could do more things that he might not be able to or be too difficult for him to do in this real world.

On the originally empty canvas, Kalea scratched a brush containing colorful paint, pouring all the ideas and feelings stored tightly in the head during this time into a work of art that maybe only a few people can understand.

Although he had not struggled for days with all kinds of combat equipment that had accompanied him through these difficult days, Kalea did not actually get into any trouble at all. His hands seemed to move automatically. Go right and go left. I swerve up and then fall.

About forty-five minutes Kalea struggled with his work, until now he smiled satisfied to see the results of his work this time in the form of a view of the high sea at dusk. The seagulls were flying, looking like they were about to break through the horizon. The sun was half-drowned, half of its light shimmered so that it made the winding waves look reddish orange.

While deep in the lower right corner of the painting, Kalea wrote a note containing a thread of prayer that God may grant in the near future. He wants a vacation, with Gavin to a place they both have never been to. Not necessarily the beach as depicted in front of him now, not necessarily the green mountains that have always been his favorite place to go and not also must be tourist attractions that are crowded with people. There is only one place where both of them can feel safe, comfortable and able to convince themselves that they are loved.

Kalea doesn't know when this feeling started. Either since the days after his first meeting with Gavin, or recently when he found out Gavin always treated him well. Clearly, Kalea knew that she had fallen in love with the man. It's a valid feeling, because Kalea has spent many nights thinking about it well.

Therefore, he also wanted to find his belief that he was not in love alone.

The afternoon when Gavin first touched him yesterday, Kalea bet with herself. If he finds Gavin moving at will, then he will think that the man does consider him to be nothing more than someone he married because of an arranged marriage. But the way Gavin touched every inch of his body that seemed cautious managed to make Kalea instill confidence in herself, that Gavin also felt what she felt.

On the other hand, while Kalea was still struggling with her own thoughts, in front of the slightly open studio door was Karel standing there for quite a long time.

The man only silently watched as Kalea moved her hand holding the brush and smiled as she muttered pride in her own work.

Initially, Karel intended to barge in and disturb Kalea just as he usually did. Because it feels like it's been a long time since the last time he convicted the woman until they were involved in a debate.

However, the intention was completely clouded when with full awareness, he heard the name Gavin coming out from the side of Kalea's lips.

Karel could not see Kalea's facial expression because she was on her back, but from the tone of the voice that caught her ear, only, Karel was already able to sense that how Kalea mentioned Gavin's name was the way someone mentioned the name of the person she adored.

They're already married. It is good if they end up loving each other even though at first it was just a marriage based on arranged marriage. At least, Karel still had time to pin that thought inside his head. But again there was one side in Karel's heart that was hurt.

He knows this isn't true. His feelings for Kalea had to be dispelled so that they could live their lives better. And Karel was confident he could do it. Because, isn't it all a matter of time?

So after being satisfied to look at the small back from where he stood, Karel moved to reach the doorknob. Not to open it wider so that he could enter, but to pull it so that the door was closed perfectly.

Kalea was in a world that she created herself now, so Karel had better not interfere. So he walked out of the studio area and decided to wait for Kalea in the living room alone.

...****************...

As Karel expected, Kalea spent too much time in her studio. Until now the clock has shown at five in the afternoon and the woman still did not show the nose in front of him. Though this afternoon before she came home, the woman whined so great about her desire to play longer with Mumu.

Mama who saw the agitated motion Karel suddenly shook her head slowly. He had just returned from the kitchen with setoples cookies from his experiments and intended to have Karel try. But he instead found the young man bending his face.

"Samperin. You know for yourself, Kalea, if you're in the studio, you like to forget time." Advice Mom after putting a jar containing cookies on the table.

Karel looked up, looked at Mama for a while, then exhaled a rough breath. The thing is, he didn't want to disturb the child for now. But he also did not want to wait any longer without doing anything. Because it's so boring.

"So Karel saw that he was serious again, Ma. If Karel disturbs, Karel's head can be bent." Adu Karel with pouting lips.

Mama chuckles. Of course he knew how Karel always ended up getting hurt because Kalea was always physically violent towards the boy. But strangely, Mama also always found Karel not kapok and even more aggressively disturbing Kalea.

Just as Karel was about to open his mouth again to continue the grievance, he clenched his lips again as his eyes discovered the figure of Kalea coming down the stairs. The look on her face was so bright, as bright as the sun out there who still refused to go back to the contest.

"Gue thought you fainted in the studio." The sarcasm of Karel so Kalea sat herself on her left.

Kalea just glanced at him for a glance, then the woman moved to reach for the jar containing cookies and immediately plucked a piece for him to put in his mouth.

"Why don't you go in? Why just stand in front of the door?" kalea asked on the sidelines of her chewing activities.

Hearing that, Karel who had been leaning back suddenly straightened up and looked at Kalea in disbelief. "If you know I'm standing at the door, why don't you ask me to come in?!" upset Karel.

"Well? Usually you just go straight without permission?"

"I think I should think before I talk to you." Mumbled.

Mama who again became a witness to the debate between two human children was only able to smile. I haven't seen a sight like this in a long time. Though come to think of it, Kalea has only been visiting for a few days. It is not imagined that Kalea and Gavin suddenly moved to another city, which automatically made them meet less often. Mama will be so lonely.

"By the way..." Karel returned to his voice after being silent for a long time. He turned to Kalea who was also staring at him waiting for the next sentence to come out. "Gavin why don't you go home?" continued.

"Yes, yeah. Where'd he go till this afternoon not home yet?" Mama chimed in.

"Yes, I don't know. Just said he wanted to get out, didn't tell me where he was going." Kalea answered casually. Once again pluck a piece of cookies and devour it with pleasure.

"Lo's really weird, bye." Chirps Karel.

Kalea raised her brow next to him because she did not understand why Karel suddenly said it was strange.

"Yes I'm grateful because you're not overthinking anymore, just not gini also dong." Karel straightened his back again. "Yes your man went from noon until now has not returned, but you just a henchman?"

"What should I be?" asked Kalea innocently.

"Yes, you should call him! You ask, where is he again? Same who? Whynot? When did he come home? Not even a joke."

Kalea was a little surprised because Karel suddenly spoke in an excited tone. More shocked again when the man did not give him a chance to answer and instead rambled again.

"Honestly, what are you guys having trouble with?" Karel leaned slightly towards her so Kalea had to step back a bit.

"What problems? We're all right, aren't we?"

"Don't lie!"

"Kok make it hard?!"

"You're lying!"

"I'm not lying, Karel."

Karel squinted, trying to look into the bead of Kalea boba to find a single speck of lies there. But nil. Kalea doesn't seem to be lying at all.

Finally, Karel sighed and returned to his position. He folded his arms in front of his chest while occasionally glancing towards Kalea whose forehead started to wrinkle a lot.

"You don't really have any more problems with Gavin, do you?" Mama who was just silent watching their debate suddenly followed the talk.

Kalea sighed. She looked at Mama and looked at her mother. "No, Mama..."

"Well, if you don't fight anymore. But if you have any more problems, tell me the same Mama, who knows if there's anything you can help."

"Yes." Yeah." Kalea lazily. Why did Karel and Mama think she and Gavin were having a fight, anyway? How strange.

Shortly after Kalea clenched her lips and a feeling of annoyance began to slowly creep across her chest, Gavin emerged from the front door carrying a large bag of groceries. The man looked at her, Karel and Mama alternately. It seemed curious why the atmosphere in the middle room was becoming uncomfortable.

"Well, the one that was talked about from earlier finally came too." Karel got up straight from his seat. He stepped closer to Gavin and immediately grabbed the grocery bag from the man's hand and placed it on the table.

Gavin was puzzled when Karel suddenly pulled his arm away from there. He looked back to ask Kalea for an explanation, but all she did was shrug her shoulders, not knowing what Karel was going to do.

"We need to talk for a while, as fellow men." That's what Karel told him before he was dragged into the backyard.
