My Husband's Secret

My Husband's Secret
110. Considering togetherness

The wedding preparations for Adit and Riri are almost done. The expected day is getting closer. All preparations have been made by both families.

“Kak, how?” riri asked while trying on the wedding dress.

Maysa looked at the sister with an astonished look. She did not expect that her dress was very fitting on her sister's body. Though previously the woman was very afraid if what she made, was not in accordance with Riri's wishes. However, now his sister looks very different, more mature and also beautiful of course.

"You're so pretty, Ri. Brother till pangling look at him!" maysa cried who kept staring at her sister from top to bottom.

Riri smiled hearing the praise from her brother. That means, later he will not embarrass the family. The girl rarely dressed up so, Riri was afraid that she would embarrass the family later. Thoughts that don't always come.

"Son't lie, is he?" Riri looked at the brother.

The girl was afraid that what her brother said was just a joke. Moreover, the dress she was wearing was also made by the woman herself. Who knows if Maysa only complimented her pretty dress instead of her.

"So no lie, you are really beautiful in this dress. Especially now that I have not put on make up. Later if everything is perfect, surely people will be amazed to see the bride,” Maysa said with a smile.

He is not making things up or just pleasing his sister. All she said was honesty because her sister was indeed very beautiful. Riri's proportional body, of course, is very suitable to wear the dress.

"Thank God that I'm beautiful, I'm more confident." Riri lifted her dress up a bit and tried to turn around. She was so happy to wear that dress.

"In the past you weren't confident? What makes you not confident? Hasn't everything been fulfilled by Adit?"

"Much, Brother. About Adit's extended family, the guests and other important people." Riri lowered her head in an helpless manner.

"You don't have to think about unimportant things. It will only make you less confident. Better just go with what's prepared."

Riri took a deep breath and threw it away slowly. "It's not as easy as it says, brother. I've tried so many times to look calm and not think about it. But everything means nothing."

Maysa understood what her sister was feeling. He was also once in the position that Riri was in now. It happened when he married Tama. Their differences are very much the same as Riri and Adit.

However, their destiny must indeed unite so, they must continue to live what has been outlined. As big and heavy as any obstacles faced, hopefully it can be easily passed.

"Sister has also been in this position, feeling this self is very small compared to our partner's family. You know how Mas Tama's family is? They are so different from our family. Just like now, between you and Adit, but believe me that this is the destiny we have to live. Let us pray that our home may be as solid as we dream."

"certain, Brother. I always pray that our home will not be shaken by anything. I also want to be happy with Mas Adit forever. Honestly I also have a fear if Mas Adit like Kak Rafka. I'm afraid he's cheating. I won't be able to hold it in until it happens. I'm not a big brother who can deal with any problems. If it were a matter of treasure, it would be meaningless to me because indeed from childhood we are always lacking, but if the feelings are betrayed, it would definitely be very painful."

"Sister is right, I still remember a long time ago when Brother fought with a neighbor's son for defending me. At that time his mother came to be angry with Mama. However, Mama just kept quiet and after that just caressed us and advised slowly.”

Maysa chuckled as she remembered it. All those memories they would never forget until at any time. It will be a memory when they long for togetherness in childhood. His memories with his father were few that they remembered. When his father was alive, they were very small.

"Mama is indeed the most patient person I have ever met" Maysa said with foresight.

"That's why I was so scared, when Mama was angry with me about my relationship with Mas Adit one year ago," Riri said with a straight forward look.

The girl still remembered how Mama Rafiqah was angry. The middle-aged woman raised her hand and beat him. Things that the woman never did. However, due to a mistake that Riri did not know, Mama Rafiqah did.

"After you get married, surely our time together will decrease. We will be busy with our families. Moreover, I also have two children. Can we get together like before?" maysa asked in a sad tone.

Suddenly the mood became mellow. Memories of their togetherness one by one appeared on the surface. When you laugh, hard, happy, everything becomes one. They always support each other.

There was no envy let alone hate, there was only affection between them. Maysa and Riri also always help each other, no matter what kind of distress one of the two goes through.

"Why are we suddenly so sad? We should be happy, soon you will get married," said Maysa who then smiled at Riri. "Silver can only pray that you are always happy. May Adit truly be a trustworthy husband, and take full responsibility as you and ... My brother can no longer say anything. Whatever is good is all for you" said Maysa who got a hug from Riri.

As an older sister Maysa only wants the best for her sister. As Riri said earlier, she also did not want what she had experienced, felt by her sister. Enough of her betrayal, do not let Riri too like that.

"Thank you, Brother. My brother's been taking good care of me, but I've never done anything meaningful for you."

"What are you talking about? You have been very good to me all along. You support me when I'm really in trouble. Thank you for our togetherness, may this togetherness never be lost. Even though we both have families."

Riri nodded in her brother's arms. Until whenever he also will never forget their togetherness. His family has taught him many things about life, both bitter and sweet.

Maysa unraveled the embrace and wiped away the remains of her tears. "You better take off the dress, it'll get dirty 'm the hard one."

"Yes, Brother! Onion." Riri immediately left from there before her brother nagged even more.
