My Husband's Secret

My Husband's Secret
101. Adit Family

After getting the food that Maysa and Riri ordered, the two left the restaurant. They're headed to the cake shop, where Maysa used to buy.

"Sister, what's this cake?" riri asked while looking at some of the cakes in the storefront. Everything looks tempting.

"Lead on, this also seems to stay a little bit of everything. Now it's afternoon, they are also definitely not producing anymore" Maysa replied.

"Is it okay like that?"

"How else, everything is just this, rather than nothing. Good, colorful, anyway."

Riri nodded and mentioned the name of whatever cake he was going to buy. Maysa also bought her children's favorite cake. After that, the two headed for the fruit seller who was on the side of the road. They deliberately chose there because it was indeed one way on the way home.

If the supermarket has to turn around again so, they find a place there. Riri chose some fruit, while Maysa only chose one fruit, while paying attention to her sister. He did not know what kind of fruit the girl was going to buy.

"Sister, why stay quiet? Help dong!" exclaiming Riri who was upset at his brother who only noticed him.

"Son't know what you want."

"Just as big brother." The two eventually chose fruit together.

Once enough is felt, Maysa and Riri return home. It was getting late in the afternoon, at home there was no preparation. They did not ask those outside the city to come.

Fortunately Mama Rafiqah has apologized to them because it was an impromptu event. Om and their aunt don't mind either. The house is also far away, if it is near for sure they will come.

"Assalamualaikum" said Riri and Maysa as he entered the house. Both carry a few bags of crackles. In the car there are also others, later it can be taken again.

"What does Mama buy? Too much food?" ask Eira who is in the family room. He followed his mom and aunt to the dining table. Dio also did not want to lose and followed them. The boy was also curious as to what the two women had bought.

"It's cake and food."

"I want this one, Ma," said Eira, pointing to her favorite cake.

"Yes, can. Dio wants to too?" maysa asked the son.

"No, Ma. I was full, I was given Oma cake too" replied Dio who preferred to sit on the dining table chair.

"If you want, take it for yourself, yes! Mama's gonna clean up for some guests."

"Whose guests are there, Ma?" eira asked with her mouth still full of cake.

"There's an Oma. Later Dio and Eira help you, huh?"

"Yes, Ma." Eira was still enjoying the cake, while Dio just silently watched his sister with a smile.

Maysa and Riri clean up the house and arrange whatever is needed later tonight. Not to forget also Riri prepared all his needs.

"Ma, how many people will Adit's family be? Do we need to hold a rug? The chair let it go inside," asked Maysa while cleaning the living room.

"I forgot, yesterday I didn't ask how many people. How'this?"

"More delicious sofas brought inside, Ma. Later Mas Tama with Mama Mirna also came.

Mama Rafiqah was a little surprised. She asked her daughter to make sure of it. "You want to come too?"

"Yes, Ma. We have no family so I asked Mas Tama to take Mama Mirna."

Mama Rafiqah nodded. "Yes, it's okay. Let Mama have her friend too. Yes, the chair was put in. Who knows if Adit will bring his family."

Maysa and Riri lift the sofa into the living room. All the preparations they made. Mama Rafiqah went back to check on her preparations, perhaps some were left behind. He was afraid of humiliating his daughter.

After Maghrib, Tama and Mama Mirna came. Both were greeted by Mama Rafiqah who opened the door.

"I'm sorry, Miss Rafiqah, I came late so, can't help anything" said Mama Mirna, who felt bad for her body.

She had read a message from Maysa, but she was surprised when Tama invited her to come too. Mama Mirna didn't think that way before. He thought only his son and daughter-in-law were gone.

"That's not necessary, Miss Mirna. I did not do it from noon either. All the kids we bought, we didn't get to make anything. The show's all impromptu."

"Whatever happens, let's hope everything goes well."

"Amin, thank you for that. Go, in! Please sit down first, let's talk for a moment" asked Mama Rafiqah.

The two sat in the living room, talking while waiting for the arrival of the Adit family. He decided to go into the kitchen to meet his wife.

"Sir Tama, it's coming!" sapa Riri arranged some food.

"Yes." Yeah." Tama looked to the left and to the right. There was no one there, he asked, "Where are Maysa and the kids, Ri?"

"There's in his room, it's gonna take the kids."

"I'm going there, yeah!"

Tama also went to the room, which was commonly used by him while staying in this house. He knocked on the door three times then opened it slowly. Maysa was dressing Eira.

"Assalamualaikum," said the man.

"Goodoo, Papa!" eira then hugged the man.

Tama immediately carried her daughter by pretending to be in trouble. "Ouch! Princess Papa is getting heavier and heavier. Papa till the trouble of her carrying."

"Yes, dong, Pa. I drink milk every day, so it's getting healthier."

"Papa's son is great."

"Mas" said Maysa, kissing the back of the man's hand, followed by Dio. "You're the same mom, Mom?"

"Yes, Mama was talking to Mama Rafika outside" replied Tama who then sat on the edge of the bed.

"Come on, the kids are already, right! We're out, yuk! In front is oma!" maysa cried to her two children.

"May, let the kids come out. You're here first, there's something I want to talk about for a second" said Tama who then spoke to her son. "Dio, take his sister forward?"

"Yes, Pa." Dio and Eira walked forward, while Maysa sat on the edge of the bed, next to her husband.

"What's up, Mom? It looks serious?" maysa asked after her children were nowhere to be seen.

"So I talked to Mama Mirna about Mama Rafiqah and she doesn't mind if Mama Rafiqah comes with us back home. You are the only one who persuades him. I really understand how Mama Rafiqah feels that it will definitely be difficult to leave this house."

Maysa smiled, she knew if her husband and father-in-law won a good man. They certainly don't mind that. However, persuading Mama Rafiqah will also be difficult. I remember a lot of memories in this house.

"I told Riri and Mama yesterday. Like you said, if Mama seems reluctant to leave this house."

"Eat him, you have to persuade him again. Give understanding slowly, surely Mama understands. Besides at home there is also Mama Mirna, definitely more exciting. They can often talk or do things together."

"Let's talk to Mama again, Mom. Hopefully Mama will."

Tama nodded, she also couldn't force it if her in-laws refused. The man knew how difficult it was to adapt in a new environment. Especially for women of the same age as Mama Rafiqah. He is sometimes lazy to interact with new people.

"Yes, let's go out! It's not good in the room."

Tama and Maysa went out and joined the two middle-aged women. The children were silent and listening to the parents speak. Sometimes they also answer if asked.

Not long after, the sound of a car stopped in front of the house. Those who heard immediately came out to greet the guests. Sure enough, it was Adit together with his family. The man came with the father and also a couple. Maybe it's his relatives.

"Assalamualaik."

"Waalaikumsalam, Mr. Adit, how are you? greet Tama.

"I'm good, Mr. Tama. We haven't seen each other in a long time" Adit said.

"Yes, maybe because our cooperation is also done by the secretary so, we rarely meet. Please come in, let's all!" bring Tama.

Mama Mirna and Mama Rafiqah greet her guests, while Maysa receives a parcel brought by the woman who came with the Adit family.

"Sorry, yes, sir. We sit like this" said Mama Rafiqah who felt bad. Adit's family must not be used to this kind of situation.

"It's okay, Mom. It's more comfortable like this, the family is more pronounced."

"You could have."

"By the way, which bride?" ask the woman who came with Adit. He is his aunt.

"Before a minute, Auntie, let me call you" said Maysa who then passed from there.

"I think the woman was his future wife Adit" said the woman, chuckling.

"No, Ma. That's her sister" said Mama Rafiqah.

"Tante, that was Kak Maysa, his wife Pak Tama," said Adit who did not want any misunderstandings.

"Oh, sorry, Mr. Tama. I didn't mean anything because I thought he was the only one here."

"It's okay, Mom. I understand what you mean."

The sound of footsteps approaching the living room, everyone looked at the person. It turns out that Maysa came by holding Riri. The girl lowered her head in embarrassment of being the subject of attention.
