Holy Prison
PS2. 14 - Fill in the Conversation

"May I collect your promise, An?" ask Mas Faiz.

"Promise?" my many.

I'm brain twisting. Thinking about what promise my husband meant. Shortly thereafter I remembered. Surely the promise that Mas Faiz meant was my promise to tell you what happened.

I'm down. Confused to think of a way to explain this matter to Mas Faiz.

"There's no need now if you're not ready" said Mas Faiz.

He moved his stool so he could get close to me. We are still in the dining room. Finished eating the dadak noodles (instant noodles) we are still here not moving to the room.

"Sister Ulfa likes it the same Mas." I said sadly.

"How do you know?" ask Mas Faiz.

"I-I accidentally heard it when Sister Ulfa called her friend in the kitchen" I said.

My eyes are hot again. I don't know if my wits still have anything to do with my moon's future or not. However, I am obviously very sad at the moment.

"Don't cry, I beg you" said Mas Faiz.

"I don't want to lose Mas. Does.. does this mean I'm selfish?" my many.

I don't want to lie to my husband. So, I decided to tell you what I heard and felt.

"No, dear" said Mas Faiz.

I looked at him fixedly. My chest rippled to hear Mas Faiz calling me with that call. My heart warms, happiness envelops me.

"Mas, have I evil taken you from Sister Ulfa?" my many.

"You didn't take me from anyone, An. So you are not evil" said Mas Faiz.

Mas Faiz wiped the tears on my cheek. "Don't cry anymore, if what you say is true we just pray that Brother Ulfa quickly forgets me" said Mas Faiz.

"Have you ever loved Sister Ulfa?" my many.

Mas Faiz looked at me.

"I mean, you guys have a lot to do via chat. Does that mean. e.. you ever loved her?" my many.

Mas Faiz smiled to calm me down, "An, I only replied to Sister Ulfa's message because she's your sister, nothing more. I have never loved him one bit." replied Mas Faiz.

I looked at him, his eyes telling him that what he said was the truth.

"Where's your phone?" ask Mas Faiz.

"In the room, Mas." I said.

"Of course, let's go to the room. I showed you our chat message history" Mas Faiz said.

I'm nodding. Suddenly Mas Faiz picked me up. Carrying bridal style. "Eh, Mas, why.." I said.

"Your stomach still hurts, right?" ask Mas Faiz.

I just nodded, then put my hand on his neck. Mas Faiz took me to my room. In the room Mas Faiz dropped me on the bed carefully. Then, Mas Faiz took my phone that was on the table.

"This" he said. While giving me my phone.

I'm picking it. He's nodding. I also opened the WA message from Kak Ulfa. I held my breath. I scrolled the message until it came to the top.

There is a long message of Ulfa which is always answered briefly by Mas Faiz.

Sister Ulfa

Gus Faiz, Assalamualaikum. I congratulate you on the scholarship. Hopefully in Cairo you can get a lot of knowledge, and go home with great success. I'm so proud of you.

^^^Me (Mas Faiz)^^^

^^^Waalaikumsalam. Thank ye.^^^

Sister Ulfa

Don't forget to eat regularly, right there. Far from parents do not make you irregular or rarely eat yaa.

^^^Me (Mas Faiz)^^^

^^^Good.^^^

Sister Ulfa

Later if there is nothing there or you need a friend to confide can chat me yes. I'll reply to your chat anytime.

^^^Me (Mas Faiz) is read only. Not reply.^^^

Sister Ulfa

How, not reciprocated anyway? Are you busy again? Busy what? Must be busy doing college work, huh?

^^Me (Gue Faiz)^^^

^^^Yes.^^^

Sister Ulfa

Gus, tomorrow Nindy's back at the lodge.

^^Me (Gus Faiz)^^^

^^^How is Nindy doing? Is he healed? What about his feet?^^^

I smiled at Mas Faiz who looked worried about me. I glanced at Mas Faiz.

"What's wrong?" ask Mas Faiz.

I'm shaking. The curious Mas Faiz approached me, reading the messages

Sister Ulfa

It healed. Didn't he tell you he's going back to the boarding school tomorrow?

^^^Me (Mas Faiz)^^^

Sister Ulfa

Don'tdon't. Nindy's not interested in your phone. He even has a new cell phone.

"New phone?" I said unconscious.

I looked at Mas Faiz. "But as I remember I never bought a new phone, Mas." I said.

I also went back to reading that conversation.

^^^Me (Mas Faiz)^^^

^^^Can I request a new number?^^^

Sister Ulfa

He'll be right to the cottage. I gave her her new number for free.

^^^Me (Mas Faiz)^^^

^^^It's okay. I'll call him before he leaves for the cottage.^^^

Sister Ulfa

0813844**** this is the new number yes. You can call now.

I remember this number. I looked at Mas Faiz with a sad look. I never had this number.

"Not your number?" ask Mas Faiz.

I nodded sadly. "I've never had that number" I said.

I went back to reading the conversation between Mas Faiz and Sister Ulfa again.

^^^Me (Mas Faiz)^^^

^^^Inactive.^^^

Sister Ulfa

Maybe he turned off his phone.

^^^Me (Mas Faiz)^^^

^^^Well, it's okay. I don't want to disturb him anyway.^^^

Sister Ulfa

Would you like to say hello to Nindy?

^^^Me (Mas Faiz)^^^

^^^Bby.^^^

Sister Ulfa

I said yes, Gus hehe

^^^Me (Mas Faiz)^^^

^^^Thank you.^^^

I'm sighing. Ulfapun never gave that greeting. In my heart I wonder why Sister Ulfa could lie like this. Ah, maybe because Sister Ulfa loves Mas Faiz so much. But didn't Brother Ulfa say that the person in his tribe was Aaron's cousin?

"You didn't receive my greetings at that time either?" ask Mas Faiz.

I'm shaking. However, I quickly realized. This will worsen Ulfa's reputation in the presence of Mas Faiz. I hurriedly read my words.

"Eh, maybe I don't remember, Mom." I said.

"Don't lie to me, An" said Mas Faiz.

"I'm sorry, Mom." I said.

I also continued to roll my message down without reading it, although I did not read it carefully but I knew Mas Faiz only responded to all the long messages of Kak Ulfa with one or two words, no more.

I also brought up that conversation. Looks like a lot of other lies were created by Ulfa. I don't want Mas Faiz to look at Sister Ulfa as a bad person. Mas Faiz looked at me with a confused look.

"Not read?" ask Mas Faiz.

"No need, Mom. I believe you." I said.

Mas Faiz nodded. We fell silent, entering into our own daydreams.

"Is this the real reason you didn't call me, Mom?" my many.

Mas Faiz nodded. "Some times I called you on that number. However, due to the continued inactivity, I dare not call you again."

"Mass?" I said.

"Yes?" the answer.

"May I ask us to keep this a secret from anyone?" I said.

"Of course" said Mas Faiz.

"Mas, Brother Ulfa is a very good man" I said.

I was really afraid that Mas Faiz thought Ulfa was a bad person after knowing the fact that he had been lied to by Ulfa.

"Yes" said Mas Faiz.

"Thank you." I said.

Mas Faiz rubbed my hair. I smiled at him, he smiled back at me.

"I go to the bathroom first" he said.

I'm nodding.
