Given Marsya who was starving, I also approached Mas Faiz.
“Mas..” call me.
“Iya, An?” ask Mas Faiz.
“Marsya laper, will you take me to buy bread for her?” my many.
“Let me buy it, Bu.” said Revan.
“No, Van. Keep your wife and child inside. Let me and my wife buy.” said Mas Faiz.
“Good, Sir. Thank you.” said Revan.
Revan reached into his pocket and took out the money and gave it to me.
“Eh, No need, Van.” I said.
“Iya, you just save the money for other purposes.” said Mas Faiz refused the money. “We go first.” said Mas Faiz.
...***...
Three days later Marsya was released from the hospital. Mas Faiz asked me to accompany him to the shopping mall to buy a toy for Marsya. We went into a toy store. There we found a lot of toys.
“What should we buy for him, An?” ask Mas Faiz.
“We'll take a look first, Mas.” I said.
We also combed the shop. Suddenly I saw a carriage of Thomas, a typical toy boy. Very amusing. I didn't realize I was smiling. Now I imagine my house is filled with lots of male toys. I really want to have a son.
“You're sure Marsya will love it?” tanya Mas Faiz was confused.
“Ah, no, Mas. This is not for Marsya.” I said.
“Then for?” ask Mas Faiz.
“Not for anyone. I was just looking at it.” I said.
Mas Faizpun nodded. “An, how do we buy a ball bath only?” ask Mas Faiz.
With his eyes twinkle. Mas Faiz approached the toy he mentioned. I'm nodding. It seems like Mas Faiz's choice is very appropriate. The toys are made of plastic and are safe to play with.
I approached a round plastic tub tester from a ball bath that was still in a plastic box. This plastic tub needs a pump to inflate it. I touched the bottom, it was so soft. Perfect for Marsya.
“Iya, Mas. Very good.” I said.
“What color is it, An, which is good?” ask Mas Faiz.
“Pink only funny.” I said.
“For the ball want what color ball?” ask Mas Faiz.
“Color only times yes, Mas?” my many.
“Alright, it's up to you.” said Mas Faiz.
I took one sack of red net holes filled with colorful balls.
“Two yes, if one is afraid of less.” said Mas Faiz.
Mas Faiz took one more net. It seems like Mas Faiz is really looking at Marsya. I smiled at him. We went to the cashier to pay for it.
Suddenly my phone rang, an unknown number written there. Lifting too.
“Halo, Assalamualaikum?” I answered the phone.
“Waalaikumsalam, Ms. Nindy, it's me Linda.” Ata someone over there.
“Linda? God, Lin. You finally called me too. Where are you?” my many.
“I'm in Jakarta, Ma'am. I miss so much, Ma'am.” Linda said.
“I miss you too, Lin.” I said.
“How about tomorrow we meet, Ma'am?” ask Linda.
“I permission my husband first yes, later I will call.” I said.
“Suami?” linda was surprised.
I nodded unconsciously. “Iya, husband. Later if we meet I will explain.” he said.
“Waalaikumsalam wa rahatulli wa barakatuh.” I reply to his greetings.
Mas Faiz looked at me. I also smiled, I was really happy to be contacted Linda. I miss Linda very much. I really miss my best friend.
“Call from whom?” ask Mas Faiz.
“From Linda, Mas.” I said. “He said that he was in Jakarta, he invited me to meet tomorrow.” I gave an explanation.
Mas Faiz nodded while smiling at me.
After the cashier gave Mas Faiz the package of toys, we went to the parking lot. I helped him carry a sack of ball nets. During the trip I was very happy. How not. The call from Linda was shocking. I'm really looking forward to our meeting.
Arriving at the parking lot we got into the car. Not long after, Mas Faiz started driving.
“You look so happy, An.” said Mas Faiz.
“How am I not happy, Mas. Linda called me.” I said while grinning the horse. “I really miss him.” I said.
“Mas happy to see you happy like this.” said Mas Faiz.
I turned to Mas Faiz who was now struggling with the steering lever. I was eager to ask her permission to meet Linda, but I could not bear to let Mas Faiz at home by myself if I left.
“What's up, An?” ask Mas Faiz.
“Mas, can I meet Linda?” I asked Mas Faiz.
“Bby. Want to meet when?” ask Mas Faiz.
“Tomorrow, Mas.” I said.
“But Mas between ya.” said.
I'm nodding. “But, later Mas alone at home.” I said.
“It's okay. Mas also tomorrow there is a need in the office.” said Mas Faiz.
We went to Mia's house, to give Marsya the toy. Until Marsya's house, Mas Faizpun and I gave her the toy. Marsya looks very happy, Mas Faiz and I are grateful because the toys we chose are very liked by Marsya, and said Mia, Marsya also does not have a bathtub ball.
...***...
Mas Faiz drove me to a cafe I had promised Linda. Mas Faiz drove me inside. I feel so happy to meet my best friend.
“Mbak Nindy!” exclaim someone.
I'm looking for the source of the sound. And I saw Linda walking up to me. He hugged me, we hugged him full.
“MasyaAllah we can finally meet again.” I said.
“Iya, Ma'am. I miss it once with, Ma'am.” Linda said.
“I also.” I said.
Linda hugged me again briefly. Then shortly after he turned his eyes to Mas Faiz, Linda was surprised to see Mas Faiz beside me.
“Lho? How is Gus Faiz?” linda asked, blatantly conveying her surprise.
I smile. “Suami.” I said.
“You guys,.” Linda said in disbelief.
I nodded too. Linda laughed too. “Alhamdulillah o Allah, I am really happy.” Linda said as she wiped the tears in the corner of her eyes.
“Aaron how are you?” ask Mas Faiz.
Linda was suddenly nervous. He looked confused as he answered Mas Faiz's question. “Bang Aaron, thank God well, Gus.” Linda said.
Mas Faiz nodded briefly. “Mas go first yes, An. Later if you want to go home contact Mas only, let Mas pick up.” said Mas Faiz.
“Good, Mas. Be careful on the road yes.” I said.
I grabbed my husband's hand and kissed him goodbye. Mas Faiz rubbed my head. After I let go of her hand, she gave a brief nod to Linda. Then leave us. After my husband was no longer visible, Linda hurriedly pulled me to a table where he was sitting.
“Mbak, so Mbak Nindy's husband, Gus Faiz?” tanyanya, with a sparkling highlight.
“Iya, Lin. Alhamdulillahot. Sorry I can't tell you because I honestly don't know how to call you because I don't have your phone number.” I said.
“Yes, Ma'am, it's okay. I'm very happy, Ma'am, to hear this news. I really did not expect that my best friend could have a dream husband who has been loved for so long.” Linda said. His eyes really imply happiness.
While at the cottage, Linda also loved Mas Faiz. But look, he is very different from Brother Ulfa. Knowing the news of this marriage, he looked very happy. I really didn't see any hatred or disdain in his eyes. I am so grateful to have a friend like him.
