Holy Prison

Holy Prison
PS2. 55 - Honesty Arum

The next day I wanted to ask Arum to leave with Mas Faiz. Faizpun agreed. Although Arum was initially very resistant because he was very afraid of Mas Faiz. That's what he said to me.

But if I think about it, Arum was very afraid of my husband because in the cottage he once said that Mas Faiz's gaze was sharp and very scary. So, according to his words he still fears Mas Faiz to this day.

"It's okay. Go with my husband." I said reassuring Arum.

"Alright, Ma'am" said Arum resigned.

Arum and Mas Faizpun left for the office. I don't worry about Arum at all. Because I know very well, among my friends he never had any taste for Mas Faiz. The only man who could attract her attention was Aaron. Linda's older sister, who is now Farha's husband.

After the office as usual I welcomed my husband. Arumpun came home with my husband.

Now we, Me, Mas Faiz, Arum, and Bi Darsih are sitting at the dinner table. I asked Arum and Bi Darsih to eat with us every day.

"How, Rum? Smoothly?" ask me at the dinner table after we finished eating.

"Alhamdulillah smoothly, Ma'am" said Arum with a smile.

"Alhamdulillah then." I said.

"Thank you so much Mr. Faiz and Ms. Nindy for giving Arum a job" Bi Darsih said.

"Yes, equally, Bi" said Mas Faiz.

"Yes, Bi." I said with a smile.

After eating Arum came up to me this time my husband had gone upstairs.

"What's wrong?" my many.

"Eh, Ma. Can I leave alone tomorrow?" ask Arum.

I was surprised to hear Arum's words. I began to think about what made Arum unwilling to leave with my husband.

"Did my husband do anything unpleasant?" manyaku.

"Eh, no Ma'am. No. gabe. I just don't feel good for Ma'am and I'm still afraid of Mr. Faiz being so cold" Arum said.

I laugh.

I haven't had time to say anything Mas Faiz called me. I hurriedly said goodbye to Arum and left him. I hurried to my husband.

"Tomorrow Arum departs with Rizki. I told Rizki to come get her" said Mas Faiz.

"Lho, what's the matter, Mas?" many confused.

"I don't like cars with other women and it looks like your friends are afraid of me" said Mas Faiz.

I chuckle.

"Am I that scary?" ask Mas Faiz.

"No, my mom. It's not scary." I said.

The next day, as he said, Rizki came with a car. Rizki comes to the house to pick up Arum. Arum initially refuses, but I assure him that he has to go with Rizki. For some reason.

The first reason, from my home to the office there is no public transportation only ojek/taxi online. If he continues to use the ojek, the money will abis quickly while he must save.

The second reason, with Rizki he is safe neither I nor Bi Darsih will worry because Rizki is one of Mas Faiz's confidants.

For these three reasons, Arum could not refuse to obey.

Later Arum used to leave with Rizki. Arum never again refused to go with Rizki.

Six months later my pregnancy was old. Even the doctor said that the estimated birth of my son is only two weeks away.

Mama asked me to stay at Mama's house until my son was born, because she was so worried about me being alone at home. The reason you asked me to come is because the distance from your home is very close so when it is time to give birth, it is easier. After all, at my mother's house there is Mama and Kak Ulfa who will always take care of me while at home.

These six months Brother Ulfa has done nothing evil. Ulfa was very kind to me. Although I still felt a little nauseous when I was nearby but it was not all that severe. Not as bad as my early pregnancy. I never said that I was still nauseous when I met Sister Ulfa. Because I don't want Ulfa to misunderstand me, and say that I haven't forgiven her. In fact, I have forgiven and almost forgotten all the evil that Brother Ulfa has done to me.

"You seriously want to stay at Mama's house? How about you meet Ulfa? Are you not nauseous anymore? Mas Intenti. Mas is willing at home to keep you company and take care of you" said Mas Faiz.

"Yes, Mom, I'm very serious. I want to stay at Mama's house. I'm not nauseous anymore when I meet Sister Ulfa. And I don't want you to keep putting aside your work just because of me." I said.

I understand that Mas Faiz really wanted to take care of me and always wanted to be with me. He was unwilling to leave me and was more willing to leave the company for a while. However, I do not want my husband to abandon the company. Although he can work at home but it feels very difficult. I certainly don't want anything with the company because a lot of employees are making a living there. So, I feel like I can't be selfish.

"Do you think this is the best?" ask Mas Faiz.

"Yes, Mas. Please, may I stay at Mama's house?" I asked Mas Faiz.

"Alright, but if there's anything with you, you have to tell me" said Mas Faiz.

"Do you still not believe in Sister Ulfa, Mas?" my many.

Mas Faiz was silent. I know he's confused as to what to answer. I even understand that Mas Faiz still does not believe that Brother Ulfa has changed since 6 months ago.

"I'm sorry" said Mas Faiz who saw me silent.

"Mas, trust me. Brother Ulfa will not scour me. She's turned into a really good sister." I said.

"But, An." said Mas Faiz. He still does not believe in Ulfa.

"I don't want to eat" I said, pursing my lips.

I shifted my seat away from Mas Faiz as a form of my protest to him.

"Are you mad at me, honey?" ask Mas Faiz.

"No." I said lie.

"alright. We moved to Mama's house." said Mas Faiz.

"Really, you're letting us live there?" many ensure.

"Yes. But you don't get angry at me anymore. I don't want to see you angry at Mas" said Mas Faiz.

I'm nodding. "I won't be angry anymore. Thank you, ma'am." I said and kissed him on the cheek.

Mas Faiz ruffled my hair.

We packed the things we were going to bring. We don't need a lot of clothes, because in my room, Mama's house, our clothes are there. I only prepared my husband's office clothes because at Mama's house there were only one or two Mas Faiz's office clothes. I certainly didn't want to see my husband wear that office wear for days.

Bi Darsih, Arum, and Mang Jarwo live at home. Mas Faiz and I said goodbye and asked them to take good care of the house.

"Assalamualaikum." We both gave greetings to Mama and Papa.

"Waalaikumsalam wa rahatulli wa barakatuh. Enter, Son. Come in." said Mama and Papa.
