When it came down, it was not just me and Farha who had woken up. But luckily the 'bathroom' here is pretty much so we don't have to queue for long if all the bathroom cubicles are full. I entered a bathroom room near the water tap that was ready to fill our long pool. I told you from the beginning is not the shape of the bathroom here which only has 1 elongated pool with bathroom skates around it.
From the beginning I came here. I always aim for the number one bathroom because besides the water has not been contaminated with other students, the majority of whom seem to have skin diseases such as scabies, panu, and so on. But yesterday my friend said the skin disease with the name... wait... gurik? Ehh not a hick? Yes, if it is not wrong.
Brrrrrr...
The water is cold as ice. I think I'd like to stop taking a shower, but I'm responsible, so I have to continue. Although my body was shaking and I felt my lips were turning blue, I quickly finished my bathing activity.
"Come, Ma'am take food for sahur" said Farha. He brought 2 empty dishes that were ready to be filled.
I nodded, agreeing. Today is the first day of the year. Honestly, in the previous month of Ramadan, I never fasted until Magrib. In Jakarta first, I did join sahur and open with my family, but when with my friends I still eat.
"It's hard to get up early, uh the vegetable side dish is not clear the same tempe segini." I grumbled. Farha just laughed beside me.
"There's a chicken ration, Ma'am, every Thursday" Farha said. It was the most terrible thing Farha ever said. Even so he looks very happy.
At 4 o'clock Farha and the other children went to the cottage in my direction to Ndalem Abah. I forgot the name of the cottage. I'll ask Farha sometime. It was the hut that Farha once entered while picking up sandals, the hut that was located just before Umi's house.
"I am first, Ma'am. Salamu 'alaikum" said Farha when she was in front of the hut I was referring to.
"Waalaikumsalam wa rahatulli wa barakatuh." I said. Then continue the journey.
As I was about to arrive at Umi's house, I saw something strange there. I saw Papa's alpard. I totally forgot. Forgetting to think about the possibility that my family is still here. I'm not going there.
I hid behind a wall that could not be seen from the area of Umi's house. I hugged tightly the prayer mats and mukena subordinates that I carried, sighed, then crouched down. Then I rubbed my face with the origin. Shortly thereafter, Adzan was arrested. I'm still waiting here, hoping my family's car is gone.
After waiting for my bed that gave me mosquito bites, my family finally came out. I watched them one by one. There were no tears or swollen eyes as told by Farha last night. Sure enough, what Farha saw yesterday was probably just acting. Although I did not expect it, my heart still felt annoyed. Plus seeing their faces so happy, it felt envious to rule the heart. And what makes me most arrogant is Gus Faiz who looks to be laughing there with Brother Ulfa. It seems they were really matched. Either one or even both of them already like each other. So, be willing?
"Basic Gus Faiz. My turn aja aja cool already never want to talk long, jutek, and never want to see my face. Turn now? Ah, hypocrite. Good thing your handsome, Is. Ah, goddamn. Why do I say handsome." I said.
"Who's handsome, Ma'am?" ask someone.
"Gus Faiz." I said.
"Iihhh. can't, Ma'am. Gus Faiz it's mine." shouted someone behind me. I stood up and turned my body. Then rack the waist. Apparently Linda.
"God! Why are you screaming in my ears?!" my yelling. Fuck that promise.
Hearing the absurd words that came out of Linda's mouth I can already guess that she is also one of the students who have been infatuated with the creature of God that still exists in Ndalem Abah with the title ‘gus’ it.
When viewed from the side of the face, Gus Faiz is almost equivalent to a bidadara. Because I think his face is indeed the class of actors Lee Min Ho, Ji Chang Wook, and Mario Maurer, can even be said to be superior. It seems like I've twice praised his face like a handsome artist like Mario Marer. It is fitting that many santri-santri are attentive when passing in front of Ndalem Abah. Just look, even though she only wears sarongs, cocoa clothes, and peci, she still looks like a model.
Then for science, although not know exactly but when viewed from his attitude he seems to be someone who is intelligent, especially in religion. He is the son of a Kyai. Despite so many advantages he still has shortcomings. Sometimes he cannot keep his principles. Just look, there he laughed with Brother Ulfa.
Everyone has advantages and disadvantages. I also have advantages, such as beautiful, smart, have high taste, and be a dream of men. My religious knowledge is also good, pretty bad. Haha.
I realized after realizing that I was being proud of Gus Faiz. I also glanced cynically at Linda. Then sneered, "Why would I want to get Gus Faiz? That's the problem for you?" I said.
"She's my future husband" Linda said. With full confidence. I'm appalled. But after that, I started laughing not loudly for fear that my family would hear my voice, because it was likely that they were still in the courtyard of Gus Faiz's house.
"Wake woy up! It's noon." I said, sarcasm. Suddenly my nose was itching. Looks like a shower at 3. I point my face in front of Linda and sneeze right in her face, "Hatchiii!" then run away leaving him.
"Bodo ah, I'm going. From ketauan.” I said getting away. "I'm good at sneezing!"
"Where are you going?" One voice surprised me.
Then I looked at the origin of the voice. And it turns out he's again. I could only cross my arms around my chest while hitting him with my sharp gaze which he did not look at at all.
"You're suicidal. Lo's satisfied?" I said.
"You are waiting for Umi at home" he said.
"Lo is crazy. Do you think I don't know if my parents are still at home? Did you intentionally make me meet my parents? Don't break your promise, will you?" I said sewot.
"Look at the car" said Gus Faiz.
I looked back. There's no Papa's car. Then look at him again.
"Tap-but.." I said trying to refute him.
“Ayo.” says Gus Faiz. I followed him from behind.
"Gue is a good boy.” I said.
