"What's Hanna? Why do you want to meet me outside? We can talk at home!" Cecar Hafidz, right after he came to see Hanna.
Hanna, who called Hafidz on purpose, asked Hafidz to come to the cafe right in front of Hafidz's office. Just smiling, as if Hafidz's anxiety was unreasonable. Hanna just wants to talk from heart to heart. Without anyone's interference? Neither were Hanna's parents, nor Hanna's brother.
"Sit quietly, and then we talk. At least order something, so that we are not said to be hitchhiking!" Hanna said casually, Hafidz stared at Hanna's nanar. Hanna's attitude was different from usual.
Hafidz continued to look at Hanna in disbelief. Such a rapid change of attitude, with no words or gestures. Hanna's ever-visible silence, now turned full of firmness and calm. Hanna was no longer worried about deciding things. Hanna was very strict in her every word. Like the old Hanna, when she hasn't been in a coma. Hanna who always behaves with the mind, without fear and defeated by anything. The hanna she used to know has returned. Bringing fear to the real parting.
"You changed!"
"I'm the same brother, nothing has changed from me. I have been covering myself in my silence. I'm trying to figure out what's going on between us. Not looking for who's wrong? But I just want to see, there could still be a way my race stays with my priest!"
"What do you mean Hanna? Why is the way of speaking hinting at farewell?" Hafidz said softly, Hanna silently stared fixedly at Hafidz.
Again and again Hafidz saw a different Hanna. Hafidz looked at Hanna who shook his soul first. Hanna who with her tough attitude made Hafidz fall in love. Hanna who was resolutely guarding herself, so as not to be insulted by others. Hanna who continued to hang by his side. Accepting insults and rejection from Salma. It was Hanna who made Hafidz realize the true meaning of love. It wasn't the quiet Hanna who kept shutting herself down to be understood.
"Sister Hafidz always understood me. From a long time ago, my brother always understood the way I thought. Maybe that's how our love talks. Not through words, but with eye gestures and heart vibrations. What a sis, I'm amazed at the way you understand me!" Hanna said happily, as if the farewell Hafidz said deserved to happen.
"That means you want a farewell!" Hafidz said softly, Hanna nodded without hesitation.
Hafidz sighed, there was a glimpse of disbelief at the nod of Hanna's head. But all seemed to be true, when Hafidz saw clearly Hanna's sharp gaze. The serenity of Hanna which seemed to all Hafidz's thoughts was right. As Hafidz lowered his head, he was afraid of parting with Hanna. What is fear for or who? One thing was certain, Hafidz felt a pain in his heart. One nod of Hanna's head, noticeably stopping her heartbeat.
"Drink first, so that we can be calm in speaking. Before you came, I ordered your favorite drink. I knew you wouldn't order a drink. Maybe even, brother wants to stand up leaving me. But believe me, the decision has to be made. As bitter as any herbal medicine, if it's medicine. We have to be ready to drink it. Same thing now, no matter how bad my decision. Brother must accept it, so that we can continue living!" Hanna said firmly, Hafidz shook his head weakly. Hafidz did not believe Hanna's attitude, as if Hanna was already very sure of the separation between them.
"Tell Hanna, there's no need to ask me to drink this sweet coffee. If you really want to poison me!"
"Sir Hafidz, sometimes one has to dare to drink poison. Let us know how much life means. Something made me realize. My life right now is a blessing, so that I can understand the true meaning of life!"
"You're the Hanna I used to know!"
"Sir Hafidz, we know each other well enough. It is time to talk about the core of the problem. Decisions must be made, give a chance to a fractured relationship or stop hoping for a relationship that won't go back to what it used to be!" Hanna said firmly and coldly.
Hafidz was silent, his gaze locking onto the coffee cup he was holding. Hafidz turned his eyes away from Hanna. More precisely away from the two eyes that made her fall for Hanna. Hafidz tried to find a calm that was not friendly with his heart. Hafidz kept pretending, if all was well. To be honest, his heart was broken, not left.
"You're right Hanna. The longer we talk, the deeper my heart gets hurt. Tell me what's your decision? I'm ready to hear it!" Hafidz said, Hanna nodded slowly.
"We're ending this unhealthy relationship!"
Deg
"I can't survive a relationship without blessing!"
"You mean!" Hafidz did not understand, Hanna gave a letter.
"It!"
"That's our farewell letter, I've filed it. All this time I kept quiet, looking for answers from my deepest heart. Farewell will ruin my life. But surviving a broken marriage will keep me from going slowly. Mother's blessing that I never held. Your love is beginning to divide. Qaila's tears my brother. All of that becomes my strong reason, if this relationship no longer deserves me to hold. Sometimes we have to be ready to let go, if we want to get better!"
"It's all just your excuses, justification for the wounds you inflicted on me!"
"Sister Hafidz, if you want to say sick. Maybe my heart hurts a lot more. Surviving a fragile twig, will not save your life. But breaking the twig, at least slightly alleviates your pain when you fall!" Hanna said, Hafidz was silent.
"Sister, our marriage is fragile when there's no mother's blessing to raise you. Our love is weak, when your heart begins to feel at ease in another heart. My steps feel heavy, if I hold a hand tied to another hand. Trust me, brother, your love for Qaila is real. The grim cry of Qaila clearly sounded. I'm just trying to let go of a grip you can't let go of!"
"At least you're not hurt!" Hafidz said, Hanna was silent. Then slowly Hanna shook her head.
Hanna squeezed the tip of her hijab tightly, covering up the pain deep in her heart. Only Hanna was able to feel, how sick was her heart at the moment? Pain that can't be said, but real felt by Hanna.
"It hurts, it hurts. But survive a relationship full of wounds. It will not immediately take away the pain. Because of this heartache, it will only heal with distance. A distance that will make us realize the meaning of each other!" Inner Hanna pilu.
"Well Hanna, I'll sign it. One condition I have, Davin's custody is only for me!" Hafidz said loudly, Hanna was silent.
"Alright, I may be the mother who gave birth to her. But your affection and Qaila raised him. I'm not going to fight for Davin's custody. Enough he knows me, I didn't expect more!"
"You are Hanna!" Hafidz said softly, signing the letter Hanna gave.
"Finally, it all has to end. May you be happy my priest. Thank you for your love for me. Smile at the priest of my hereafter, so that my heart will not be too sick. I can't see your happiness with another woman, even though she's my own sister. I'm going to get away from you, I'll leave the fruits of our love. The most beautiful gift of my life!" Inner Hanna, smilingly looked at Hafidz. Pretend to be happy with this breakup.
"Thank you, I hope we meet soon!" Hanna said, then stood up. Hanna took the file from Hafidz's hand.
"Hanna, where are you going?" Said Hafidz, when he saw Hanna coming out while pulling a medium-sized suitcase.
"I won't be able to look at your happiness. I'd better stay away, so my pain doesn't hurt too much. Later when we meet, I just want to see your smile!" Hanna said loudly, then left without a smile.
"If you're hurt, why are you asking for this farewell?" Inner Hafidz.
