"Hanna, I want to talk!"
"What's wrong? why is my sister's face so serious!"
"We talk outside. I don't want Hafidz to hear it, afraid he'll misunderstand!" Arkan said softly, Hanna nodded her head assuring.
Arkan and Hanna walked out of the house. The two walked to the park in front of the house. More precisely they go to the gazebo in the middle of the park. Hanna looked up at the sky. There are no stars or shining moons. Instead the sky looked red, as if the sky wanted to shed its tears. Hanna felt the cold of the night wind. However, at Arkan's request, Hanna tries to hold him back.
"What's up, brother? Why should we stay away from Brother Hafidz? What does he want to say?"
"Ghibran!" Arkan said briefly, Hanna turned her head while gnashing her forehead cluelessly.
Hanna tries to find a connection between Ghibran and Arkan. Hanna seeks answers from Arkan's calm. Such a calm attitude, the declining nature of Hanna. Never in a hurry to decide. Instead Arkan was very calm, though his heart and mind were restless. The problem Arkan is going to say is not easy.
"Why with him? Where is he now?"
"In the hospital!" Arkan said firmly, Hanna turned her head while shaking in disbelief. Hanna felt that Arkan's words were just a joke.
"Sister's kidding!"
"Two days ago he came from out of town. Ghibran had a terrible accident. The hospital there couldn't handle it. So they referred Ghibran to our hospital!"
"Lantas, what does Ghibran have to do with me?" Sahut Hanna was indifferent, though her heart was agitated.
There's an unusual sense that's infiltrating. Is it compassion or guilt? But for sure, the presence of Ghibran began to disturb his calm. Hanna felt Ghibran's accident happened because there was a connection with him. His anxiety grew even greater, as Arkan talked about Ghibran personally with him.
"Hanna, I'm sorry if you have to say all this. You know how big a Ghibran feels for you?"
"Sister mean?"
"Ghibran had an accident, right on your wedding day. He was running his car at high speed. Ghibran wants to attend your wedding. Don't know to say congratulations? Or maybe you want to ruin your show. However, Ghibran's death at that time, made him lose his mind. Ghibran's speed is out of bounds. So the Ghibran car hit the wall and finally overturned!"
"I don't want to hear it. Whatever happened to Ghibran. Pure negligence, it has nothing to do with me!"
"Hanna, listen to my sister!"
"If you just want to blame me. I'm not gonna listen to him. I have nothing to do with it. There is no obligation to interfere!" Hanna's voice was cold, Arkan shook in disbelief.
"Hanna, sister never blames you. At least listen to what you've been saying for a moment. Let you know the condition of the Ghibran. You have to remember, he was always next to you first. For the sake of humanitarian relations, resist your disappointment!"
"But!" Hanna hesitated.
Arkan begged Hanna. Finally Hanna nodded weakly. Hanna agreed to listen to Arkan. Tells the story of the Ghibran.
"All right, I'll hear it. But you have to respect my decision, whatever it is?" Hanna said firmly, Arkan nodded in agreement.
"Sister agrees!" Arkan Sahut is short. Hanna nodded, a sign she believed Arkan's promise.
"I believe Hanna, your heart is not that cold. Maybe I was wrong to say all this. But you're only the last hope of my brother. Ghibran's brother's best friend, his aunt Zalwa's niece who still has a relative relationship with papa. There's no way brother would close his eyes to his wound. You can tell the difference between anger and humanity. Brother will not force, but deep down in your heart. There's a great hope you're helping the Ghibran!" Inner Arkan expectantly.
"Tell me what happened to the Ghibran?"
"Ghibran comma!"
Praaayyyrrr
The sound of a glass falling from Hanna's grasp. It really shows how much Hanna can't believe. If the Ghibran had experienced something like that. Ghibran conditions make Hanna anxious, there is a sense of compassion and guilt in Hanna's heart. Although Hanna was not the cause, Hanna was the one who bore the deepest wound in Ghibran's heart.
"It has been almost a month, Ghibran was unconscious. Aunt Zalwa was treating Ghibran at another hospital. He doesn't want to involve our family. Aunt Zalwa doesn't want to ruin our family's happiness. But Ghibran's condition has deteriorated over the past three days. So Aunt Zalwa decided, take Ghibran to our hospital!"
"How is he now? Why not go abroad? I think the Ghibran family can take him!"
"Everything is not as easy as you say. At first I proposed the same thing. But when I saw Ghibran. That hope will never exist. It is not the cure that Ghibran expects. Only nothing could possibly be his last path!" Arkan said softly, Hanna shook her head in disbelief. He can't hear Ghibran's pain anymore. Her body felt weak, Hanna felt claustrophobic given all her rude attitude towards Ghibran.
"It's not easy, but we can try it!" Hanna said, Arkan shook weakly.
"You are our last hope!"
"Sister means!"
"Ghibran is waiting for you, only your name is mentioned in his long sleep. Ghibran calls you in every breath!"
"Why should I?"
"Hanna, I know this is all wrong. But please, meet Ghibran once. Raise his life spirit. Maybe your presence could make him aware of the coma!"
"Why did he call me?" Hanna said softly, Arkan shook his head not understanding. Hanna walked away from Arkan. The rain drops washed his face. The drizzle that represents her tears.
"Ghibran's heart rate is starting to weaken!"
"Can't be?"
"The Ghibran consciousness is disappearing. The one that has remained the same, ever since he was unconscious!"
"What's that?"
"Your name is always called. The tears of the Ghibran that miss your presence!"
"I can't!" Hanna's voice was broken, and Hanna's tears fell. His heart ached hearing of Ghibran's condition.
"Alright, brother understands that. Tomorrow at exactly 12 WIB, brother will take off his life aid. All the families agreed to end Ghibran's pain!" Said Arkan coldly and firmly.
"Don't do that? He's definitely healed!"
"I'm sorry Hanna, she can't stand it anymore!"
"So I can help him!"
"Silver is not Allah SWT who can heal him. As a doctor, I've been trying!"
"So I can!" Hanna said, Arkan shook weakly.
"If you could, but you can't fight against the written destiny. Perhaps much better, Ghibran escaped from this affliction. So that he no longer felt heartache!"
"Sister, I'm sorry!" Hanna lirih.
"You know best, no one can blame you and force you!" Arkam said loudly, then away from leaving Hanna alone.
"What should I do? You and I are no longer the same. Our status is different, it's not that easy to see you!" Mumbled Hanna.
