Devotion of Love
Both on Cold Nights

"Why baby? What are you thinking about going quietly? If only I could be selfish. Isn't it true that you left without my permission!" Hafidz said softly, Hanna nodded in agreement with Hafidz.

Hanna wholeheartedly confirmed Hafidz's words. Without the blessing of a husband, no wife should be outside the house. But far from all that, there is an implied understanding. Kala Hanna decided to marry Hafidz. Without saying much, Hanna hinted at an agreement to work. So there will be no demands, when Hanna works.

"An understanding!"

"Understanding!" Hafidz repeated Hanna's words. It was as if Hafidz did not understand what Hanna said.

"The understanding I want from you as our wedding dowry!"

"Darling, what does my promise have to do with your departure?" Hafidz was increasingly confused by Hanna's way of thinking.

Hafidz stared at Hanna's two eyeballs. Seemed sincerity without falsehood. Real honesty from the bottom of Hanna's heart. Shaking Hafidz's cold heart by disappointment. No anger filled his heart and mind. Instead, there was a sense of regret that had cast doubt on Hanna.

"The understanding of Brother Hafidz, will be my responsibility as a princess. Work without asking your permission. Full trust in you, if I'll never betray you. In other words, there are no obligations and rights that limit our relationships. I am more than a wife!"

"Darling, I never doubted you. I was just wondering, why did you walk away from me without saying goodbye? Stay away as if you want to avoid mother!"

"Sister Hafidz, if I can be honest. I'm not ready to meet Mother Sinta. Seeing brother Ziva in Mother Sinta's room. It's enough to make my heart hurt. If you ever wake up, then look at me but ask Ziva. Truly Brother Hafidz, I will not be able to. Exclusion and not considered. It hurts, it hurts a lot!"

"Darling, I'm with you. No one will touch you. Including mother Sinta, I will be a shield. So that no wound touches your heart!" Hafidz said, holding Hanna's hand tightly.

"I don't doubt that, I trust you. But on the other hand, I'm a princess who now has other responsibilities!"

"You mean replace papa!" Hafidz said loudly, Hanna nodded firmly.

"You're really going out of town!"

"There's trouble outside the city. I have to go there. Papa was accompanying Grandma in the hospital. So I'm replacing papa. As a daughter-in-law I have tried my best. Tomorrow I have to be a dutiful princess. I need your understanding, without a doubt!"

"Darling, I never doubted you. But can you be honest with me. Not as an obligation, but let me know of your whereabouts. Far from you I can't afford. Moreover, it must lose track of you!"

"Well, Brother Hafidz, I will always tell you where I am going. Now that you already know it, isn't your brother calm. So you can go back to accompany Mother Sinta. I'm fine, don't ever worry about me!"

"Why did you sacrifice so much? What reply do you expect from me? Nothing is valuable to me right now. I can't pay back your great love!" Hafidz said, Hanna shook her head. Hanna rested her head on Hafidz's shoulder. His hands clasped tightly onto Hafidz. He struck two hands and his heart with Hafidz.

"Thank you, I'm so happy to know you!" Sahut Hafidz, then hugged Hanna tightly. The two of them dissolved in a cold night.

"Darling, you better take a break!" Hafidz said, but Hanna was silent. Hafidz turned towards Hanna. Hanna fell asleep in the arms of Hafidz. There was a soft snoring from Hanna. The rising breath was regular, signifying how tired Hanna was at the moment.

"Sleep baby, I know you're so tired. How foolish is the man who brushed off your love? How inappropriate is your care wasted? You love sincerely, but they deny your affection. Hanna, I'm not gonna stay away from you. I'm not gonna let go of your hand. You are one and forever. I will fight for your love. I'll make you aware. You're the best woman of the good. Allah has brought us together because you are the best in my prayers and prostrations. I love you so much, so much love you!" Inner Hafidz.

"Only cold-hearted and dark-hearted people continue to want to see them part!"

"You!" Shaila said in shock towards Savira. With a look of dislike Shaila saw Savira who was standing behind her. Savira nodded very firmly. As if a nod of his head could make Shaila go missing.

"Why surprised? I should have felt weird seeing you here. A sister who willingly peeked in the dark of the night. A sister who would rather see her brother's grief. A sister who never believed in her brother's decision!" Savira is cold. Shaila stared hard at Savira. Full of anger and annoyance. Savira's words are true, but it feels wrong for Shaila.

"What do you mean? Why didn't you ask yourself that question? You even asked me. I was standing here by accident too!"

"Shaila, I've never known you, but I know Hanna as my best friend. I never knew Hafidz personally. But I understand very well the person of Mr. Ziva. Perhaps you think, brother Ziva is much more worthy of Brother Hafidz. But without you knowing it, Hanna is far more valuable than Ziva!"

"Sweety you Savira. Ziva is your older brother, but you're defending Hanna instead. Someone who isn't who you are? I feel a lot of blood between you and Ziva. It doesn't make you side with Ziva!"

"Side, I've never taken sides. I don't even have to choose between Hanna and Brother Ziva. Because since Hanna married Sister Hafidz. No other woman is more entitled to Hafidz's sister. Only Hanna deserves and deserves to have Hafidz. Including Ziva's brother who is a nobody, Brother Hafidz!" Savita said firmly, Shaila smiled mockingly. As if something was funny.

"You completely forgot the blood relation. Your friendship with Hanna is absurd. I've never seen this all this time. A sister who prefers others, rather than her own brother. Even a younger sister who was more willing to look at her brother's tears and replace them with someone else's smile!"

"You're right Shaila, I'm a sister who willingly saw Brother Ziva cry today. At least one day Ziva will not feel ashamed standing in public. I'm not for Hanna's happiness, but I'm defending Ziva's pride as a woman. She wasn't too low, until she had to be a snatch of people's husbands. Moreover, it is clear that Brother Hafidz never loved him!" Said Savira loudly.

"You're just reasoning, but in fact you're defending others. A sister who never had a word with her real sister!"

"I'm not one word with brother Ziva right now. But I never wanted to destroy the happiness of Ziva's brother. Like you peeking in the morning blind. Demi wants to find a way to destroy the love of Hafidz and Hanna. Now tell me, I'm a brash sister or you're a heartless sister. Destroying her brother's happiness just for ego's sake!"

"You!" Shaila was full of emotion, her gaze locking onto Savira.

"Ask your heart, do you deserve to go this far. Just to destroy Hanna. While in front of you, you see a lot of happiness. They are happy with their love, why do you want to separate them!" Savira then leaves Shaila. Savira no longer wants to serve the stubborn Shaila.

"Because I envy Hanna's perfection!" Inner Shaila was full of anger.
