A Promise

"Come on Hanna, there's no need for you to knock on the door!" Hafidz said without looking at Hanna. From the beginning Hafidz had been aware of Hanna's arrival.

Hanna flinched, she was surprised to hear Hafidz's voice. Ten minutes ago, Hanna was standing in front of Davin's room. Hanna hesitates in knocking on Davin's bedroom door. Hanna's two beautiful eyes, caught one figure that made her hesitate. Hafidz sat in front of Davin. Hafidz is busy with his laptop. Hafidz takes time off work, he wants to take care of Davin. Davin's condition is starting to improve. It's just that Hafidz is still worried. If you have to leave Davin. While Hanna felt awkward, when she saw Hafidz was in Davin's room.

"If Davin doesn't eat, when will Davin recover?" Persuading Hanna, Davin shook his head weakly. He really didn't want to eat anything. Even if it's just a porridge.

"This is a cooking mama!" Hanna said again, Davin shook his head more firmly.

Hanna silently looked at Davin's nano. Davin's frail body clearly showed he wasn't okay. Slowly Hanna put down a tray containing breakfast for Davin. Hanna patted the back of her son's hand. Then lovingly, Hanna kissed Davin's tiny hand gently. A three-year-old boy who never understood his mistake. She must be away from the mother who gave birth to her.

Hanna's warm attitude did not go unnoticed by Hafidz. With her eagle eyes, Hafidz sees Hanna's warmth on the fruit of their love. The most perfect happiness Hafidz never felt. Her life seems complete, with the closeness of Hanna and Davin. But in his happiness, there was a bit of pain. When she remembers her self that would never be part of the happiness of Hanna and Davin.

"If I were in that happiness. My life is complete Hanna, but your rejection is clear I think. I don't expect to be close to you. At least I can smile, see my son is happy to be by your side!" Inner Hafidz.

"Darling, mom is tired of cooking for Davin. Mama hasn't slept since last night, for Davin's sake. Now Davin doesn't want to eat mama's cooking. Davin know not?" Hanna said softly, Davin nodded weakly.

"Mama is sad, Davin does not appreciate the tired and sleepy mama!" Hanna said softly, bowing her head.

Davin hugged Hanna. Davin drowned his head in the warm embrace of Hanna. Davin's tiny hands were unable to embrace Hanna's body tightly. But with all his might, Davin tightly embraced the mother. Obviously Davin was afraid Hanna was sad. Davin was crying in Hanna's arms.

"Why crying?" Hanna said as she stroked Davin's head.

"Sorry!" Davin said softly, Hanna smiled knotfully. His complaint made Davin feel guilty.

"Pardon me, if Davin's ready to eat his breakfast!" Hanna said, Davin was crying more and more. Hanna was confused by Davin's attitude. Hafidz pretended not to see. He moved towards Davin and Hanna.

"The mouth of Davin is bitter!" Davin said plainly, Hafidz and Hanna turned to each other. Why do they feel like they need each other? With a nod of her head, Hanna asked Hafidz for help.

Davin has to eat his breakfast, anyhow? Although Hanna had to ask Hafidz for help. Hanna will do it anyway. All for the sake of Davin's lost cheer. Hanna doesn't want Davin to be weak with her pain. Davin had to fight his pain.

"In that case, let papa feed!" Hanna said, Davin looked up at Hanna. Then with my eyes, he turned towards Hafidz. Hafidz's two hands were already holding a bowl of porridge.

"But!" Davin said weakly.

"Davin sat on my mom's lap, then dad took Davin's bribe. If Davin's obedient, tomorrow after Davin's cured. We go for a walk together. Where does Davin want to go?" To Hafidz, Davin nodded his head. As if Davin agreed with Hafidz's offer.

"Let'soo!" Hafidz said, with a cheerful smile. Davin devoured bribes for the sake of the porridge bribe Hanna made.

Hanna and Hafidz together guard Davin. A small family gathered. After three years they were separated. A laugh that is easy to create. But as if reluctant to stray, when tears do not drip.

"Davin's full!" Said Davin plain. Hanna and Hafidz nodded. Hanna kissed keninh

Hanna took the bowl from Hafidz's hand. Slowly Hanna walked towards the door of Davin's room. But his footsteps stopped, when he heard Davin's whining. Hanna was full of heartache when she heard Davin and Hafidz talk. As a mother, Hanna had broken her son's heart without a trace. Hanna lowered her head, hiding tears. A very big guilt.

"Hanna!" Said Hafidz, when he saw Hanna crying while hugging Davin's tiny body. Hafidz understood the pain Hanna felt. The same pain was felt by Hafidz. Staring at the innocent face of Davin who was afraid of losing Hanna again.

"Mama's not leaving!" Hanna said, holding Davin.

"Promise!" Davin said plainly, Hanna nodded slowly. Hanna was getting tighter and tighter, Davin. It's like Hanna's not taking Davin off anymore.

"Mama promise, mama will be there for Davin. Mama's gonna be next to Davin. Look at Davin growing up. Until my breath stops blowing!" Hanna said, Davin nodded slowly.

"Wish mommy healthy baby. Mama will fight this pain for you. Mama will be strong for your smile. Mama will survive for your life. Mama will make up for the three years she lost. Mama's gonna fight for the three years we're gonna go through. Mom promises, mom promises!" Inner Hanna.

"Mama will heal for you!" Murmuring Hanna, Hafidz turned to look at Hanna.

"What are you sick with?" Said Hafidz anxiously, his hand tightly grasping Hanna's arm.

"Forget it, I'm fine!" Hanna's cold.
