CHAPTER 87: KEVIN'S HELP?

At Kevin's residence in the afternoon, Johan was sitting looking at the swimming pool in front of him.

- Flashback at the city-limit hotel

- POV Johan

I woke up with a head so sore, with a numb mouth and a nauseous stomach.

I sat down and put away the bed sheet, this is a foreign place. I don't remember the last incident, why did I get to this place?

The door opened, my eyes widened, "Kevin?"

Ah makes sense, so Kevin took me.

"Uh," I massaged my throbbing head, I looked up again. Kevin gave me a can of drinks.

He pulled the can and opened it and reached out to me again, "You sure you refused? want Lala to see you like this? looks so bad."

My eyebrows go up next door, "Lala?" I looked at Kevin's flat face. That cold canned curry, and I'm throatin', a drunken drink can with LaCroix on it.

I felt my left stomach ache, I saw it there in the bandage, I looked up at Kevin.

"Not coming to our wedding, you're causing trouble" Kevin said, sitting next to me.

I widened my eyes, "where is that jerk?" my hands clenched slightly in memory of last night's incident.

"What to look for? don't you remember if you killed him!? Bother, you should have seen who your opponent is.

I went to the bathroom, "Good. And this is none of your business. You don't have to bother coming here."

Staring at the reflection in the mirror, my forehead had been on the bandage, surely the bottle hit my head last night.

Last thing I remember beating a bunch of guys who were attacking a woman down the street, I don't know after that. That woman should be fine, so I killed the thug? I drank too much at the time.

I vaguely remember the masked man, did he help me? Did Kevin take me? Not likely.

After I finished the shower I came out of the bathroom just cursing at the towel, I saw Kevin cool with the tablet.

On the bed there is an orange shirt, pants and in the man, it must be Kevin who prepares. I went into the bathroom and put it on. My eyes widen, where were the jeans yesterday?

I brushed open the door, rushing around searching the entire corner of the room.

"This?" said Kevin holding a small black bag, I walked quickly and grabbed it roughly.

"That important?" kevin said with his eyebrows up and then stood up. He walked towards the door, "Let's fill your stomach."

After I checked the paraiba necklace was still there, I kept it back. This is the most important thing, this is the legacy of Alen's father that I haven't given to Lala.

Kevin and I were at a glass-walled restaurant on the beach, on the second floor. VIP place, we have finished our meal.

The drink Kevin gave me had calmed my stomach, made my body feel better.

I see Kevin who is so calm and looks more mature, much different from before. It seemed like he was satisfied with Lala's whereabouts.

"Your business isn't finished? what's more important than going to our sacred rites?" kevin asked with a faint smile and fingers that kept tapping on the table.

Smiling wryly, I clenched my hands, was Kevin laughing at his victory? "Kevin, once again you make Lala cry, I'll bring her myself."

Kevin laughs, “with what? do you have any powers? Power? Before you think so use your brain first. You're making trouble here, it's me protecting you, you know why? Because you are weak and childish.”

I clenched my hands.

“Oh you said, ‘I will buy it no matter if only 15 trillion’ Hello ... Realize Johan, you're still in the shadow of Mr. Lewis.”

“you're still a child.”. “Mo -mmy,” said Kevin moved his mouth silently.

“Anged? What would you feed Lala if she lived with you? You should be self-aware, you can't even protect Lala. Do you know anyone who terrorized him? Unfortunately, you are not worthy of his side. So swallow a bitter pill for you it's Johan.”

Kevin laughs.

Both of my eyebrows were raised, "I'm not interested," I moved on and left Kevin.

"Unfortunately, all the doors have been blown away, you can't get out of this country."

My footsteps stopped, "What do you mean?"

"After you kill him, you think you'll be free? you're too naive, Jo. Mr Lewis didn't tell ya? this isn't a playground, are you here to die silly?" Kevin shook his head, "You shouldn't have to take care of that woman."

"You're crazy" I said. I grabbed Kevin by the collar and he just smiled cynically. "Should I let that woman be raped!?" I asked Kevin to stumble. He laughed loudly in front of me.

"You're funny, Jo. How is it different from rapists?! I asked what the difference was?"

"What do you mean?"

"You want to be a superhero to someone you just met? Even sacrificing themselves became their target," Kevin shook his head.

Kevin gritted his teeth. His voice began to rise an octave, "the moment will stain him ... Is it unthinkable for you, the bathin wounds that Lala will face in the future? Just a little, don't you think? then how different are you from them!?"kevin asked, his eyes glaring at me.

I let go of my grip, "where do you know.." I said trembling.

That was my biggest mistake. I don't deny it. My eyes condensed holding anger at me which also continued to haunt me.

Kevin lowered his head, "do you think I don't know that.” Kevin looked right at me sharply, ”Even the nights you dared to sneak onto the balcony and you intended to kidnap her?"

"Switch, Jo, give up. Listen to your mistake. One, you infiltrated Lala. Two, you still dare to devise Lala's kidnapping plan, even though Lala has refused to go with you, right? you want to steal it from me? Three, you were so stupid that you killed a gangster.”

I clenched my hand because Kevin knew everything.

“I told you about this gangster, this continent has its own rules, they buried the troublemaker alive, do you want to try?”

“Stop your bullshit, Kevin.”

“I know who Twenty is, a valuable person for Lewis company right? Do you think Twenty and your three men are still in hiding? quickly contact them.”

Damn why he knows everything. I called Twenty. Twenty told me all about their hideout being attacked by local gangsters. Twenty said they've been saved. I turned off the phone.

Kevin laughs.

“You owe four lives and that doesn't include your family. Think before you act.  If I hadn't saved your men .. it would have been the gangsters crossing the continent, violating the south because you've made trouble. Too rash, are you ready to see Mama Tiara die?" said Kevin with a tone of emphasis.

DEG, my hands are shaking, my breath is up. Oh Mamma...

Kevin looks towards the beach, “Lala Village is problematic.  If you still intend to take her, rethink ... are you prepared for the consequences? You can lose innocent little fairies.”

I still stood looking at Kevin laughing.

Whatdoes thatmean? I lost the little fairies?

“And Lala will hate you even more because you're so silly," said Kevin he moved out of his chair past me.

I continued to follow and asked Kevin what he meant by the problematic content, but he did not answer.

I was about to get in a car with him, but the bodyguards confronted me and pulled me into a different car.

- flashback finish-

A waiter put warm coffee, bread and hot soup on the table. Johan asks for Kevin and Lala's whereabouts but the waiter shuts up and leaves immediately.
