Missing But Shy

"Hi, how are you?"

A handsome man with a taper cut hairstyle stepped closer to Nadhea. His strapping body was clad in long jeans and a white casual T-shirt. Next to his hand was a black jacket and next to it was carrying a fruit parcel. A sweet terculum smile on her lips, adding to the charm that had already spread everywhere.

Nadhea lowered her head again, calming the sudden heartbeat beyond normal limits. Many times his heart cried out, reminding that the handsome man was the future sister-in-law. He shouldn't miss, let alone nurture the taste that once existed. However, his mind was too haughty to listen to that logic.

"Sorry just arrived now, I'm leaving Jakarta. My sister's sick there, too." The man who was none other than Kaivan returned to talk while putting the fruit parcel on the table.

"What pain? How is he doing now?" ask Nadhea. He glanced at a glance, then looked back down, diverting nervousness by stirring up the remaining half of the porridge.

"Alhamdulillah is better. There was Mother and Papa accompanying him there," Kaivan replied. He smiled faintly as he landed his body on the chair, next to the bed.

Nadhea had not spoken, even until the seconds had turned into minutes. He just bribed little by little porridge so Kaivan did not suspect with silence. Honestly, despite missing him he was also embarrassed to meet Kaivan. How not, the man has read the novel 'Wings-Wings Broken' in which there is the character of the Emperor aka Kaivan fictional version of— which he flattered in such a way.

"Om same Auntie hasn't been here yet?" kaivan asked breaking the silence.

"About? Mama hasn't even been here, Kai." Nadhea answered with a laugh. Not a real laugh, but a way to cover up the sadness.

Kaivan gasp. He was inexhaustible with Ambar—calon's failed path of thought. Just because the brain sucks, then ignored, even when the child is in a coma. While in the sane category, a mother should not be that cruel.

"Kai___"

"Wait!" kaivan quickly. Nadhea looked up and stared fixedly.

"Don't call me Kaivan. You called me that when I passed out yesterday, and I don't want that to happen again. So call aja Bang Kai, because you want me to always laugh like when in Rinjani at that time" said Kaivan. A less plausible theory, but it is undeniable that he would prefer to be called Bang Kai. I don't know, it feels like .. ah, it's hard to explain.

Nadhea smiled as she threw away a glance, "Don't talk carelessly! Those two things are unrelated."

"Maybe not, but really, I want you to always smile. I don't want to see you sad again like yesterday."

"Sadly I, is there any effect on you?" Nadhea asked while bribing back her porridge.

"Of course there is. I would be happy if the people around me were happy too. And vice versa." Kaivan smiled. The other is Nadhea. The woman looked down while cursing.

"What am I expecting? He thinks I'm special? Heh, that's ridiculous," Nadhea's inner.

"Sorry, yes, I was late. If you send a chat, my phone is low bat and I left it at the hotel. That night I haven't read because there is a phone call from Mother, tell me that my sister is sick. I panicked, so I went straight to Jakarta" Kaivan said as Nadhea remained silent.

"You came on time. Thank you, yes," replied Nadhea.

"If you're on time, you don't get to know." Kaivan let out a long breath. "Now Arsen is in prison. The police will help if you claim a divorce" he said.

"Yes." Yeah."

"I can do it myself, Kai." Nadhea grabbed the glass in Kaivan's hand, which was almost close to her lips.

Kaivan responded with a smile. Although let Nadhea do it herself, but she did not get out of bed, still sitting next to Nadhea until the woman finished her drink.

"Why did you even come here to look at me, Kai? Mmm, I mean Bang Kai," asked Nadhea.

"I also want to know how you are, Nadhea. I can rest easy when I make sure you're okay. After all, there were Papa and Mommy who accompanied Reya. The situation is also getting better, so it's okay even if I come here" Kaivan replied.

"I don't mean your sister."

"Huh?" Kaivan scrunched his forehead.

"Luna's having trouble again, right? She must be happy that you are next to her" Nadhea said.

Kaivan smiled wryly, then lowered his head and combed his hair with fingers, "I've separated from him."

Nadhea gasps. Unknowingly, he immediately stared fixedly at Kaivan. But unfortunately, the man continued to look down, so Nadhea could not see the chaos stored in his eyeballs.

"Maybe it's hard for you, but trust me, it's harder for Luna. You and him in love, you shouldn't leave when he's in need. Bang Kai, I know you're not a coward" Nadhea said.

Although in the heart cheered excitedly because Kaivan and Luna have separated— which means there is a chance for him—although a little, but Nadhea did not want to take advantage of weaknesses. No matter how bad Luna's attitude was, she was still her sister. There was the same blood flowing in his body. At the moment Luna is being hit by a calamity, it is very unethical if she takes advantage of the opportunity to get Kaivan.

Kaivan looked up, "If I were a coward, now I wouldn't be here. Nadhea, hearing from your story that Auntie never came here, it looks like Om also gave you the wrong information."

"You mean?"

"The bottom line is, I'm not going to leave anyone really in trouble. So if I choose to leave, it's because there's another disappointing and unforgivable reason" Kaivan smiled.

"I still don't understand."

Kaivan's smile widened, "Not to be dizzy! Instead of thinking about things that are not important, just think about the plot of your novel. You have a debt ending with me and thousands of other readers."

Nadhea did not answer, instead throwing her face quickly. He was very embarrassed to hear Kaivan say.

On the other hand, Kaivan looked at him while smiling amusedly. Someone who was once barbaric, even to the point of making him run out of words to answer, also made him sentenced to one month without a cell phone, now blushed embarrassed until his cheeks met.

"In the face of exams, one does have their own way. Your way is pretty good, Nadhea. You try to be tough, without complaining and condemning destiny. Hopefully after this there is true happiness even without the half-normal family," Kaivan inner.
