Luna's Confession

Kaivan turned his gaze and looked at his lover fixedly. However, Luna did not stare back, turning her face with a breath that sounded hunting.

"Luna, why are you quiet? Dare not admit all this in front of your future husband? Are you afraid she'll be disappointed and leave you?" Arsen spoke again. "If it happens .. seems like a natural thing. Remembering first, you shamelessly snatched away your sister's lover," he continued.

"Shut up!" shouted Luna with a stern look.

"Why? I'm just talking what it is, is it wrong?" Arsen laughed loudly.

"Mas, already. Let's just get off!" bring Nadhea. He glanced at Kaivan at a glance, then looked back down. I don't know what he's thinking.

"Go!" Luna's voice grew higher.

Arsen smiled slantingly, then took Nadhea's hand and took her step. As it passed beside Kaivan, Arsen paused for a moment and patted Kaivan on the shoulder.

"Be a perfect person, then your presence will be welcomed. If not ... you will be thrown out without compassion" Arsen said.

Kaivan was still stunned, even until Nadhea and Arsen had gone down the stairs he was still unmoved. Beside him, Luna lowered her head while cursing, trying to dampen the emotions that a few seconds ago had ignited. In addition, Luna also thought hard, looking for the right sentences to explain to Kaivan.

"Luna!"

Both of them commented stiff smiles as they called each other in the same second. Kaivan is still calm even though in his mind raging a lot of questions. However, Luna was not, she was very nervous when she realized Kaivan's very fixed gaze.

"Come, I'll take you to the room!" Luna tried to shift the topic.

Kaivan muttered softly as he followed Luna's steps towards the very end of the room. Upon arriving there, Luna opened the door and invited Kaivan.

"I go to the room first" said Luna when Kaivan had already stepped into the room.

"Wait, Luna!" sahut Kaivan turned his back.

Luna fell silent, her cold sweat returning. The usual face exuded elegance, now looking pias and nervous. Luna refused because Kaivan repeated his call.

"I want to talk." Kaivan returns to Luna. "Actually who___"

"It seems I can't escape. Instead of continuing to drag on, it might be worth explaining now. May you understand, Kai," Luna's inner self in the midst of tension.

"Why are you hiding it?" ask Kaivan.

"He's lazy. Since long ago until now never want to try. Never mind achieving, getting enough value is very rare. Mama and Papa had paid for his life, and it was not a little, but he did not know the return. I never made Mom and Dad proud. In the family, she's nothing more than a parasite" Luna said.

"So that's the reason?" Kaivan asked slowly.

Kaivan had yet to give a response, merely staring at Luna with a hard-to-understand expression.

"Businesses like Papa need smart and agile children to find relationships. When we were kids, we were given the same opportunity. However, Nadhea did not want to use. He was lazing around and wasting time with useless hobbies. So, it's not my fault that Papa finally ignored him." Luna spoke again.

"But I'm not public. I'm your future husband, Luna, not someone else. Why aren't you being honest with me?" ask Kaivan.

"He's just a burden. It's not important for you to know" replied Luna.

Kaivan flinched, his memory returning some time ago, when he read the contact's name 'Living Load' on Luna's phone.

"I didn't mean to lie to you, Kai. But ... ah, what is the importance of Nadhea? He's married and lives away from here. So, I don't think that's a big thing" continued Luna.

Kaivan muttered softly. There was a sudden gaping wound on his chest. For the first time, she was a little disappointed with her lover.

"I love you, Kai, believe me! I didn't mean to lie or anything. I just___"

"I understand, Honey. Go, I'll rest!" Kaivan silenced Luna's words with a fluffy smile.

Luna was stunned for a moment. Although Kaivan's voice was very soft, it was even complete with a smile, but the look in his eyes emitted an elusive mess.

"Go! You're tired too, right?" Kaivan spoke while rubbing Luna's cheek.

"Y-yes" replied Luna. Then, he stepped towards his room which was next to Kaivan's room.

Kaivan stared at Luna's back which was getting further away from her reach. He did not take his eyes off until Luna closed the door to her room.

"If you knew my past, would you say the same thing, Luna?" inner Kaivan.
