I'm Not a Wild Grass

I'm Not a Wild Grass
Marriage Proposal (POV Laila)

Finally, Erlan and I are officially finished after Oma's birthday party. And for the next few days Arline was unceasingly busy flirting with me and Erlan at every coming home.

Just like Erlan, Arline also lives in her own apartment which is very close to the police station where she works as a forensic doctor. Only occasionally did he come home to see his family.

Although I have risen to the position of Erlan's girlfriend, I am also still a worker in this house. I'm still Oma's guard by day.

Thankfully, Oma has started to tell long stories now. Although after her Oma will fall asleep long enough because of fatigue.

As of this moment, Oma and I were sitting next to the window of her room Oma on the first floor. We stared at the side yard of the house featuring a stretch of Daffodil flowers that began to bloom.

I am happy with the colorful Daffodil flowers are quite diverse. There are yellow, white, orange and also pink.

This plant generally thrives in temperate and sub-tropical climates. With six petals and a middle part that forms a small trumpet, this flower looks beautiful when planted in the yard of the house. The height is generally only about 60 cm.

Daffodils have another name, narcissus. This name is taken from the name of a Greek god.

According to legend, the god Narcissus was enamored with his own shadow on the river. He then tried to capture the shadow of himself but instead ended up drowning into the stream.

Soon thereafter, this daffodil flower grows along the river. So that this flower was named narcissus, because of the beauty of its reflection in the river water.

"There is a lot of symbolism related to this Daffodil flower, Laila." said Oma began the story.

"In China, the Daffodil flower is considered a symbol of good things because it is able to produce positive things. As for cosmetics and health. Therefore, this flower is also used as the official symbol of the Chinese new year,"

I'm still wise to listen to Oma Ruth tell stories. Sometimes he sips his favorite chammomile herbal tea, before continuing to tell stories again.

"In France and America, this flower symbolizes hope. In Japan, it is a symbol of pleasure and happiness. And in a British legend it is even said, if the person who found the first daffodil flower blooms will get more gold and treasure in the coming year," said Oma further.

"Until it's like that, Oma?" I commented.

"Yes, Laila. The legends in Europe are the most terrifying. That said, if your gaze can make the Daffodil flower droop, then it's a sign of death."

I was shocked. Didn't expect that the little flower that looked ordinary in my eyes turned out to have an unusual symbol in some countries out there.

Suddenly I remembered one of Nunik's advice. 'Don't underestimate the little things, yeah, il. Because all the big things in this world all start from the small things.'

I'm stunned. Come to contemplate the deep meaning of the Daffodil flower before my eyes. My gaze then focused on one of the yellow daffodils.

At first one of the daffodils looked upright challenging the sky. However, after a while I looked at her, I was shocked when the flower I was observing suddenly drooped and lowered my head. It was as if he suddenly objected to the burden of his own petals.

Deg. Deg.

Deg. Deg.

'Why is my heart suddenly so deg with gini? Ishk. its wind time nih. Kinda cold!'

I looked at Oma Ruth. And I found out that Oma had fallen asleep.

It seems Oma was exhausted after telling a long story related to the daffodil flower. Plus the breeze that cradles both eyes to immediately closed. Finally fell asleep Oma Ruth.

After I thought Oma fell asleep, then I pressed the button next to the wheel, so that the wheelchair slowly changed position into a rebound mode.

After that, I took a blanket on the bed to put it over Oma's shoulders and body. Only after that did I sit on a rocking chair that was close to Oma. I enjoy the breeze that lulls me in a soothing nap.

The day goes on. Not a week has passed since Oma Ruth's birthday party.

Today the house is again busy with down and down the house servants who are busy decorating the family hall room. The plan, tonight will be held Arline's engagement event with his boss, Colonel Amir.

I'm still busy with my storytelling with Oma. Moreover, Oma lately more and more often tell about many things and experiences when he was young. So I can't be cute helping the other waitresses with the engagement tonight.

When night came, I was asked to attend this event again. Not just as his companion Oma. But also as Erlan's lover.

One afternoon when he was about to take me home. Erlan surprised me when she suddenly plucked a pink daffodil and slipped it into my earlobe.

He said at the time, "you're more beautiful, La."

I was shocked and embarrassed. I hurriedly picked up the flower and was about to throw it into Erlan's chest. But Erlan swiftly held my hand, so that the flower remained within my grasp.

"Don't throw it away, La. Dear. I have already picked up. Bring it and store it in a glass filled with water. Can hold fresh you know for three to five days," said Erlan persuaded me.

"What the hell, Lan. The more you come here, the more you fight!" My sloth originally covered the feeling of carelessness in the heart.

Even so, I did not throw flowers earlier.

"Well, his name is love. Want to seduce you. Then, enjoyed dong La. Don't even give a face just to me. You sweet know!" Gombal Erlan is back.

"Damf. Wither again. There must be a want, right?" I just accuse, while continuing to move towards Erlan's car parked not far in front.

"Well, he does want to. But it's normal!" Erlan admitted honestly.

"That's right! You guys are all crocodiles!" I frowned when I entered the car whose door had been opened by Erlan.

Erlan rushed in as well to the front of the steering wheel of the car. He then closed the door, but did not rush to turn on his car.

"Don't talk about it dong La. I'll be embarrassed to ask you for something." said Erlan with a view of the nelangsa.

Feeling curious at once could not bear, I finally asked too.

"What do you want to ask for?" I asked while sitting sideways looking at him.

"You.." Erlan slowly brought her face closer to mine. I already know what she wants. Must be his perverted mind that charges the pinta.

Hurriedly, even though my heart was pounding, I covered Erlan's face with my palm.

"Ahh, Honey..! How did you close my access anyway.." protested Erlan with a frown.

I giggled amusedly to see my lover's face scowling.

"Hihihi.we are not halal yet, Lan. Can't kiss a kiss! Sin knows!" I reminded.

"Kok now talking about the sin of sin. At that time we also kissed after his birthday party Oma.." said Erlan still sulking.

"And it was you who first broke! And I, as a victim, am not ready to carry out your attack, Lan! So it was your sin that day!" I said half a joke.

"Haish. but you also enjoy La. so our sin is for flat dong!" Erlan won't budge.

"Allah is up! Meeketeheng.." I slurped at the origin while chuckling softly.

Erlan looked frustrated and brushed her hair many times.

"Keep, when can I kiss you again, La? You're like opium to me, you know, La!" Erlan asked in frustration.

I gave Erlan my ignorant smile, before answering her question earlier.

"Well marry me first, Cabee. We're free to kiss!" I laughed winning. However, Erlan's statement later, left me shocked to death.

"If so, we'll get married tomorrow!" Bring Erlan to me.

And my mouth was open, without saying anything more.
