One Sunday, Erlan and I went back to the WO office to prepare for our wedding reception. That day we chose the food menu, room decorations, and souvenirs for the event later.
After the mess chose one of the many good choices, I invited Erlan to cover first to the mall. So that the saturation that I had felt while in the WO office could soon disappear.
I'm taking Erlan to the Timezone. There we played a lot of fun games. Like whack and win, dance-dance revolution, also some other exciting games.
After playing and getting the gift of a cute dolphin doll, I invite Erlan to go to one of the fast food outlets.
"You're so mean, Yang. Last time playing whack and win, I did not expect that you could get a jackpot," jelloroh Erlan.
Whack and win is a game of hitting the board game. Where later from the result of the blow will be able to move the arrow upwards. At the level where the arrow stops will make us receive a ticket prize that will later be redeemable for prizes, according to the nominal obtained.
And just now, I managed to move the reward arrow to the very top level. Jackpot level.
I not only managed to get a PS (play station) prize but also a beautiful dolphin doll.
I hug my doll gift with pride. While Erlan carrying a paper bag containing my PS gift earlier.
"Laila is that! What level of reward did you get, Lan?" I asked him to pretend I don't remember.
And I immediately gave a wide grin when I saw Erlan's face that was instantly sour.
"Don't suck! I didn't really play it. So it's only natural that my level was low!" Erlan.
"Hihihi. can be your reason, Lan. Say you don't have the energy!" I even mocked him.
"Who said I don't have energy?! You want proof, yang, if I have a lot of energy, huh?!" Erlan exclaimed in flames with a quite loud voice.
In the next second, some customers of fast food outlets who sat near our table then glanced at us with a judgmental view.
Erlan who realized that his words had invited the wrong response to him was immediately bowed in shame.
While I hid my laughter behind the soft body of the dolphin doll that I still hold to this day.
"Erlan?"
A voice I was very familiar with, was heard from behind me.
I was lazy to look, so I just straightened my sitting position.
"Oh! There was Laila too. What are you guys doing here?" Ask Jessika to us.
'Of course to eat! What do we want to go to this fast food store, huh?!' dumel myself in my heart.
Jessika then pulled a chair around our table. And I felt even more annoyed that he deliberately sat closer to Erlan than to the seat I was in.
Furthermore, I heard Jessika speak.
"Jess listen, you guys want to get married? I'm sorry, because Jess couldn't make it to your engagement yesterday. Jess is back in Singapore. Nengokin Jess's grandmother is sick again," Jessika said with a regretful look on her face.
'Who is that too?' my lips in my heart.
Realizing that I was lazy to talk, Erlan finally commented on Jessika's words.
I immediately glared at Erlan. Feeling upset because Erlan dared to show attention to her grandmother Jessika, right in front of my eyes now.
Unfortunately, the ones I glared at didn't even look at me. Erlan was still waiting for Jessika's answer.
"Hh. Her diabetes is crunching again, Lan. Though Jess thought after treatment to Singapore, the condition of the grandmother would be better. But Jess was so pessimistic, when my grandmother looked up yesterday," Jessika said.
"Don't do it, Jess. Just be sure that Gayo's grandmother will be cured soon. The rest, hand it all over to the Most Healing God" Erlan said encouraging Jessika.
'Damf. Smartass! Usually he still needs to get advice, now sok-sok an advice!' my lips are in silence again.
"Hh. yeah. Hopefully yes, Lan. Thanks.. uh, so, when's the wedding day? Remember to invite Jessika. If Laila wants to be Jessika bride's maid, Jess wants to be, too" Jessika said again while looking at me with a friendly smile.
Faced with Jessika's friendly smile, I felt bad not to answer her words. With his bo doh, I even agreed to his request.
"Yes.of course. You can do that.."
When I finished saying that, I immediately wanted to curse myself.
'Bo doh's base! Why would you hire your ex-husband to be your bride's maid, Lailuunnn?? It's a disease!' my dumel to myself.
Erlan seemed to know with the contents of my head, so I saw her trouble covering her laughter.
"Really, La?? Thank you, La! Jess thought Laila didn't like Jess because she used to love Erlan. But thank God, it seems Jess is over-thinking. Laila is indeed a very nice woman and deserves Erlan!" Praise Jessika for rushing to hug me.
Feeling the sincerity in Jessika's words earlier, I felt guilty towards Jessika. With a stiff movement, I returned Jessika's embrace by patting gently on the back of this woman in front of me.
"It's okay. That's the past. There is no grudge either." I said origin.
And Erlan just laughed after hearing my words. This made Jessika so take off her embrace and look at my future husband with a confused look.
"What's wrong with you, Lan?" Ask Jessika.
I gave Erlan a menacing look so that she would keep her mouth from speaking unnecessarily. Only then did I answer Jessika's question earlier, representing Erlan.
"Don't respond, Jess. He's just too happy again. The medicine is over!" My original speech.
"What did you just say, Yang?" Erlan asked while looking at me.
"Tell me if your medicine runs out! Wh why? Wanna get mad?" I challenged Erlan.
"Isnkk. Fucking chick! Momentary enemy. Temanan momentarily. Just say jealous. Just say-!!"
I threw the rice wrapping paper in Erlan's face. So that Erlan no longer continues his dumelan.
Jessika looked at me and Erlan in turn. Before finally commenting.
"You are a very suitable couple. Jess is happy for both of you" Jessika said sincerely.
