Life does not always go as expected. There is a divine will that determines how our lives will be in the future. And the destiny of God will also put us in the reality of life that is sometimes not as beautiful as dreams.
Two months is Raga's age now. The more active and cuteness of the plump baby, the more happiness adds to the small family of Nara and Yoga.
Without needing many words to express affection between them, Yoga and Nara continued to live their household lives well. With real actions that are always shown what they are, they can already represent the feelings of both of them to each other.
Yoga did not demand Nara's recognition of her current feelings. Though hopeful, but he had already promised himself, not going to force anything more on Nara.
As long as seeing his beloved woman was comfortable and happy with him, it was enough for him and became the greatest happiness in his entire life.
The weekend before noon, Ardi came with Bunga, asking for Yoga and Nara's willingness to join his family proposing to Bunga next week.
The two men of the same age continued their conversation on the front porch, while Bunga and Nara were still in the living room talking about the development of Raga while accompanying the tiny baby to sleep on his swing.
"When are your wedding plans?" tanya Yoga while enjoying fruit pudding made by Nara which is also used as a dish for both of their guests.
"Not anytime soon. I want Bunga to finish college first, then we'll have a wedding."
"Next year?" tanya Yoga again and embraced by Ardi.
"I hope so" replied the handsome doctor.
"May I still have time to witness your happy marriage." Yoga takes a deep breath with a bright look.
Ardi reflexively turned his head towards his little friend, while enduring the tightness that suddenly struck his chest. As much as possible he endured his grief, so that Nara would not find out.
"We keep trying together, Ga. Be assured that God will never ignore our prayers and efforts!"
Yoga nodded and smiled bitterly. Whether his hopes will be fulfilled or not, but since Raga is present in his life, there is a sense of unwillingness if he will only have a short time with his successor.
He does not want to submit to just a human verdict because all final certainty is in the hands of the Almighty. He still wants and will continue to struggle to heal, even though the possibility is very small.
But no matter how difficult the effort and for whatever time it is, he will continue to do it to add a little more possibility, to be able to live longer with his wife and child.
"Yes, last week Alan contacted me and said that next month he would marry Sasha. They're getting married in both home towns." Ardi shifted their conversation so as not to dissolve in the sadness that had just been created.
"Thank God, I'm glad to hear that. May she continue to keep her first love and their relationship forever and happily ever after. Aamiin!"
Yoga sincerely prayed for Alan, because after all, they used to be good friends and Yoga hoped that after they made peace the other day, their friendship can be re-established without having to remember the bad past between them.
"Later I'll call her to congratulate her and thank her for being one of the people who saved my life with her blood donation when I was critical yesterday."
"You're gonna tell Nara?" asked Ardi while finishing a drink in his glass.
"Maybe not."
"Why?"
"I just don't want to make him sad again by putting memories of Alan. I'm afraid he's still keeping his feelings in check while Alan's back with his first love."
Ardi smiled meaningfully. He was the witness to the bad relationship of the three of them before.
"The story of the three of you is complicated. Coupled with Sasha's presence as Alan's past."
"May one day Nara be able to forgive me and start her new life happily without any more sadness and tears."
Without the two of them noticing, behind the curtains covering the glass window of the living room, Nara stood there and listened to all of Yoga and Ardi's talk about Alan.
Nara overheard him as he was about to deliver a fresh drink to them, and his steps came to a halt when he heard the conversation of the two friends.

After lunch together, Ardi and Bunga say goodbye. Yoga and Nara took Raga into the room and put the tiny baby to bed in the middle of their bed.
Yoga accompanies Raga sleeping next to the sleeping baby. While Nara on the grounds not sleepy chose to sit unwind on the sofa and open her phone.
He remembered about the talk of Yoga and Ardi on the veranda earlier. To be honest, nothing made him sad about the story he heard. About Alan, since Raga was born he's never thought about it again.
For him, Raga and Yoga are his new family that he must take care of and he prioritizes more than anything else. Just as Yoga always told him, that his wife and son are the top priorities in his life, now and forever.
But, there was one thing from the conversation that he had just learned and it made him feel like he had been lied to by Alan. As long as they were in a relationship, even Alan never told me about Sasha.
As they share stories about each other's past, Alan says he doesn't have a past love story. Alan said that he was the only love in the man's life and that there was nothing before him either.
(Why are you covering up the story about Sasha, Lan? Is it too beautiful to tell the story of your past that you are reluctant to share it with anyone, including me whom you acknowledge as your only love?)
There was a hint of pain that felt in his heart. Not because Alan was going to marry Sasha, but the disappointment he now felt as if he had been lied to by Alan's dishonesty about his first love.
But on the other hand, Nara was relieved to have known the truth about Alan even though it was from someone else. His heart felt calm and more airy to live his current life.
(Nothing I need to regret now, even if I'm late to know something about you. At least I can still be grateful today and continue to be in the future, because without you I can still live my life happily, with him who also loves me and always makes me feel very loved.)
Nara's gaze was fixed straight on the figure of Yoga who had fallen asleep with their baby. Her smile expands perfectly decorate a happy face that increasingly adds to her beauty outside and inside.
"Thank you for loving me so beautifully your way. I'm happy with you, with Raga, with our little family ...."
