"It's over, Al?"
Alya was surprised that suddenly Rendy had walked in and was standing across the table, as she had just finished the examination on the last patient tonight.
"I'm sorry I didn't knock on the door first." Rendy precedes apologizing before Alya thinks badly of her.
"Come, I'll take you home."
Alya wanted to reject her but had no power to say anything as those shady eyes looked at her with a gentle smile as usual. It doesn't feel like you have to keep avoiding the good guy.
Without a word Alya could only nod and immediately tidied up her desk then stood up and took her bag.
Rendy comes out first after feeling confident that the woman will come with her. Alya walked behind him, silent and continued to step towards the elevator.
"You're still mad at me, Al?" asked Rendy while looking towards Nara who was standing waiting beside her.
Alya shook her head quickly without looking at Rendy's face.
"I've never been angry with you. Sorry if my attitude made you misunderstand me. I told you before, I just don't want to give you a wasted hope and waste your time." Alya tries to explain back to Rendy who still seems to misunderstand her attitude.
"But after all, I'm very grateful for the kindness of your heart over the years, which has always taken a lot of time for me and given countless amounts of attention. I don't know what I can repay him for, because I can't repay him with the same feelings for you. Sorry ...."
Rendy looked back at Alya who was getting down. He could not bear to see the woman so guilty because of him.
"I ...." The man's speech was interrupted when the marker light came on and the elevator was already open. They entered and were both silent until the elevator opened again because it had reached the bottom floor.
Rendy walked slowly so that Alya did not miss. They reached the parking lot and immediately got into the car of the earthy bone doctor.
"Al, I do not ask anything in return from you, for I myself know my feelings will never be welcomed the same. I only wish you one thing, and I hope you can fulfill it. Not for me, but for yourself."
Rendy had not yet started her car engine and was still opening the glass on either side of them, so as not to arouse suspicion from the outside.
"What?" Finally Alya voiced out to find out the request from Rendy.
Rendy put her body aside and locked her gaze on Alya's gentle face that kept bowing from earlier.
For a moment he enjoyed the beauty that was plastered for real before him without blinking until the pair of shady neutrals were flushed and juicy.
"I love you, Al. I don't know until when I don't know. I will not precede God's destiny. But if I can ask, I will ask Him that I may love you all my life, even in my solitude without having you forever ...."
Rendy smiled after strengthening her own heart which was actually in pain as if it was being sliced into pieces.
"Reply to my feelings by living happily with your loved ones, the man you have always loved endlessly. Be happy with him. Because by seeing you happy, then I will feel happiness."

In the room, Ardi smiled with relief because he had managed to put Aura who was originally a little fussy because he continued to call Alya who he called bubu.
Slowly laid the little princess on the bed that Nara had equipped with a complete set of baby mattresses so that Aura could rest soundly and comfortably.
After tidying up his daughter's blanket, Ardi let go of the fatigue by laying her body on her back with her eyes tightly closed. Tired of suffering it very, but never able to fall asleep like Aura.
The shadow of a person's face just continues to fill the mind, making him re-open the eyes with a heart full of pounding.
"What's wrong with me? Why is my mind now filled with everything about her?" Ardi sighed softly and looked at the ceiling of the room with a look of laughter.
"Is it true that I've been re-attracted to him? But ... is this fast?" Ardi got up and got out of bed.
But as she passed through the living room, she saw Yoga coming down the stairs and called out to her so she stopped her steps and waited for her little friend to come over.
"Is there?" ask Ardi while sipping his homemade tea that still feels very hot.
Yoga invites him to sit in the living room so he can keep monitoring Aura in the room.
"It was only then that Doctor Alya contacted Nara and asked about the state of Aura." Yoga looked at the time marker on her phone screen.
"It looks like he just got home from the hospital. And she immediately worried about your daughter's condition so she contacted Nara immediately."
Ardi smiled at Yoga's words and placed his cup of tea on the table.
"Either why the two of them could have such a strong bond. Moreover, Aura, she seemed to rediscover the touch of affection she had longed for."
"What about yourself?" tanya Yoga with a sharp eye waiting for the answer of the friend.
Ardi shook his head weakly and spread his body leaning backwards.
"I don't know yet. I was still hesitant to interpret the feelings that were beginning to plague my mind. For me everything is still too fast and I'm afraid of a misstep in responding to it."
Ardi rubbed his face roughly, trying to wipe away the shadow of Alya's face that came back when he started talking about her.
"But I started to place suspicion on him. Right you said, there's something he's been hiding from me all along."
The widower doctor recounted Alya's attitude as she asked about her husband's whereabouts. Alya's attitude is silent and does not answer the question, making Ardi believe that something happened in the woman's past household life.
"Do you know that too?" asked Ardi at Yoga who was still continuing to stare at him endlessly.
"I'll say all these things about Doter Alya, if you know the truth."
Yoga did not answer it instead repeated his words and supported Ardi to keep trying to find out the truth.
"Trust me. I can't possibly plunge my own best friend into the wrong and beyond common sense."
Ardi resigned and re-imagined his friendship with Alya this afternoon. Somehow he felt happy remembering her and imagining Alya's face constantly meeting red and always avoiding her gaze.
Except for the last moment in front of the examination room, the graceful hijab-wearing doctor involuntarily looked at her and smiled sweetly at her.
Although only for a moment because the woman immediately realized and ended it, but until now the eyes and smile on her lips continue to imagine and make Ardi feel unsettled and can not stop thinking about it.
"I'm like seeing my old Alya. Which always makes me happy with her gentle gaze and most beautiful smile ...."
