From the airport, Alya left for the hospital by taking an online taxi of his order. Actually he had rewinded his examination schedule this morning, but it turned out that there was one sudden operation that he still had to do in order to fulfill the responsibility to his patients.
"Al, you just came too?" Suddenly Rendy had stepped in her footsteps as she climbed the stairs to the top floor where the operating room was located.
"Yes. There's an operation in a minute." Alya and Rendy continued up the stairs until they reached the second floor and stopped at the intersection to head in a different direction.
"Can we have lunch together later? Or ... Do you have an appointment with him?" Rendy stood facing Alya who continued to avoid her gaze. The woman shook her head softly without wanting to explain anything to Rendy.
"alright. Then I'll see you later. Congratulations on the job, Al." Rendy smiles happily because she can invite Alya to eat together even without a definite answer, whether she refuses or agrees.
Alya left Rendy and continued her steps towards the operating room opposite the doctor's examination room.
He tried to shake off all his feelings that were still raging because of the incident at the airport before. Trying to concentrate on her main task at the operating table in a moment, Alya smiled to calm herself down.
I'm sorry, Di. But I started to feel afraid of losing you again so I ventured to tell you.

Rendy continued to pay attention to Alya who looked more cheerful than usual. He wanted to ask but was afraid that Alya's answer would only make him disappointed and endure the pain again.
Is all this because of him, Al? Who has made you look more charming with a happy smile that adorns your face?
"What's up, Ren?" alya asked who was feeling uneasy because Rendy was staring at him endlessly in the crowd of the hospital canteen.
"It's okay. Sorry ...." Rendy chose to keep her own agitation. Didn't want Alya to know what was on her mind.
Why is this among us? Is this the last answer I've definitely gotten without you having to say it in person? How long should I really stop and not expect you, Al?
"What about Doctor Ardi's daughter's health? Is he healed?"
Alya looked at Rendy who was sitting opposite him with a serious face and without the slightest smile. It still looked sorrowful in its empty gaze despite trying to be covered up.
"It has. It's just that he has to have a blood transfusion every month or it could be faster when his condition is declining than usual, as it was yesterday."
"Is the condition severe?" asked Rendy who finally helped worry about the condition of the tiny baby she had met at that time.
Alya gave an uncertain answer with her head bobble. She recalled the time Aura had a blood transfusion accompanied by her who also donated blood to her beloved baby.
"For her current condition, doctors only offer blood transfusion options to treat it. As for other treatments that are more specific, will be re-examined and continued while waiting for its development later."
Rendy has been able to feel Alya's closeness to Aura since she saw Alya with the baby when the Flower was sick and eventually died. The aura was very easily calmed down by Alya when the others had difficulty to deal with her fussiness.
Either by coincidence or whatever it is, in fact, the closeness continues and they are getting closer even Alya also became a blood donor when Aura had to undergo a blood transfusion immediately because of her condition that decreased some time ago.
Maybe you guys are destined to be a match after passing the previous farewell. The presence of the little baby becomes one of the binders that make the relationship between you and him become closer, maybe even as close as your relationship that was once separated due to circumstances.
Rendy increasingly realizes that her true love for Alya will never be enough to be the reason she can win the heart of the graceful woman who has captivated her heart for so long. Again he had to give in to fate, sincerely releasing him to belong to another man loved by Alya.
Alya looked at Rendy, making the man's heart rustle softly and pounding loudly afterwards.
"I mean ... After you've been together for a few days, do you feel happy? Can he really make you happy?"
Alya did not want to cover up her feelings anymore. She did not want to make Rendy even more disappointed if her heart was dishonest from now on. Let him hurt her now so that Rendy stops expecting it, rather than having to make her even more disappointed in the future.
With complete confidence Alya nodded her head even though half her heart felt it was unbearable to do so. Even he did not dare to look at Rendy's face to find out how she was currently reacting.
"Yes. I'm happy." Alya confirmed his answer through a short sentence that was very straightforward and clear.
Rendy took a deep breath to calm her rumbling heart and heat up instantly. There was pain in it, although he already knew from the beginning if it would be like this the end of his love feelings for Alya.
Simultaneously, the phone inside Alya's bag rang indicating an incoming call waiting to be received immediately. Alya immediately picked it up and saw a name on the screen accompanying the voice call.
Alya could not hide her happy hue to the point that she forgot that Rendy was with her. The man saw and witnessed for himself the glow of happiness that emanated on Alya's soft face that was increasingly red.
"Yes, Di?" alya said softly after returning greetings from across the call.
"I just had lunch in the cafeteria with Rendy." Alya honestly told Ardi that he was with the man who had been their talk this morning at the airport.
"How's the Aura? Was she fussy on the plane?"
Hearing Alya's question, Rendy only found out that Ardi and his daughter had returned home and were no longer in this city.
"I'll be going to the clinic soon. I just ordered a taxi online."
Rendy became increasingly aware of her position when she heard again Alya's words who had secretly booked a taxi to drive her to the clinic. That meant, the woman had indeed deliberately avoided him and did not want to be accompanied by him.
"Hurry and rest with Aura."
Rendy smiled bitterly at Alya's last words that were calm but felt very sharp penetrating and tore her heart apart instantly.
In the end, he is the real winner. He is the one who has won your heart. He is the one who opened your heart and made you accept it again. I've lost now. Really lose.
