LOVE NARA
3.52. LONGING PHRASES

Until late in the evening, the blood transfusion process for Aura was still ongoing. The beautiful baby had fallen asleep again after Alya came from the clinic and kept her company.

"How are you doing, Al?"

With concern Ardi noticed Alya's face that looked very tired and a little pale. Moreover, this morning the woman also had her blood drawn to donate to Aura, it was certain that her physical condition was not as strong as usual. But the woman always tried to cover up with a smile that continued to expand on her lips.

"I'm fine," Alya replied without staring at the man who asked her.

Taking a slow step, Ardi approached the woman he had missed so much. He stopped and stood on the edge of the bed, right to Alya's right who continued to gently grasp Aura's tiny hand.

There was a shahdu vibration that they both felt in silence. Without a word, the song misses melodious, in the recesses of the heart that continues to rustle gently.

"Don't force yourself if your body really needs time to recover."

Ardi made a soft voice at Alya's side, making the woman's heart thump even more uncontrollably. Together in this close position, makes his body flinch nervously, although there is still a gap and away from touch.

"Alya ...." The man beside her called back. His heart beating hard made himself jerk himself.

With a quick movement Alya responded to the call that had surprised him. His face turned to the side, right along with Ardi who was also staring fixedly at him.

His body grew increasingly unmoved in silence, as their views met in a fairly close distance. Just following the will of the heart, who still wanted to be in such a position longer.

Silence without a sound, only hearts that link to each other's feelings. Without having to say a word, just want to satisfy each other's longing.

"I miss you, Al." Ardi spoke softly, expressing a sense in the heart.

Alya blinked her beautiful eyes along with her heart beat. At that instant, he drew his gaze from the pair of shady neutrals that still continued to stare at him fixedly and wistfully.

The graceful hijab doctor turned his gaze back to the top of the bed. He stared at Aura's face that was still calm in his sleep.

"Al, tell me ...." Ardi's voice still sounded so close beside Alya. It was clear yet clear in his ears.

"Tell me that you miss me too, just like you said on the phone last night" Ardi pinta without even a hint of turning her gaze away from Alya, even though the woman no longer returned her gaze.

Alya looked increasingly nervous and misbehaved. There was still a sense of hesitation to admit it in front of Ardi directly.

But his heart said something else. Not wanting to hide any more from the man she loved, Alya half-consciously nodded her head.

Ardi smiled, though still not satisfied with it.

"I want to hear it, Alya ...."

Alya closed her eyes to gather strength and convinced her heart to comply with the request of the father of the little princess before her.

Slowly the graceful woman turned her head and again clashed against the panndang with the gaze of Ardi's eyes that deepened and full of longing.

Clear details began to fill her eye patch, as Alya's face felt so warm and reddened. Braided himself to look again at the concentrated netra of Ardi who also has glazed.

"I miss you too ...."

The night after finishing the practice, Alya returned to Aura's treatment room and found Ardi asleep in a sitting position on the sofa.

The door of the room that was not tightly closed made the elegant hijab doctor could enter without making a sound and let Ardi continue his sleep.

You must be so tired.

Alya picked up the blanket provided at the end of the sofa and carefully spread it over Ardi's body to dangle to the floor to cover his legs.

You're a great father, Di. I am amazed and proud of your struggle in nurturing Aura alone all this time. I am also grateful that you are still inserting me in your heart, in the midst of your busyness and responsibilities that are not small at all times. Thank ye.

No longer visible blood transfusion equipment in the tiny body or around it. Only the infusion fluid was still flowing through the syringe on the back of the small hand.

His palm was lined with a cartoon-patterned retaining board held together with bandage weights to lock the movement so as not to interfere with the smooth flow of the infusion into his body.

Bending his body forward, he very carefully kissed Aura's forehead with all his affection. His eyes closed, offering the best prayers for his beautiful baby.

"Bus ... Bu-be ...."

The sound of delirium Aura made Alya pull her face slowly and stared at the face that was still sleeping. The corner of her lips curled a small smile, making the motherly woman also share the same smile on her lips.

"Tante is here, honey. Auntie dear Aura."

Alya's smile faded as she felt that someone was already standing not far from her.

"Navy ...." Unknowingly his lips were misliving the name of the man who had apparently been awake from his sleep and quietly followed him to the edge of the bed.

"Do you not want to be her mother? Why do you still use that name?" The widower looked at the doctor with a gloomy look, because Alya had not yet fulfilled his request.

Alya who was just aware of Ardi's existence, was immediately nervous and misbehaved when their views clashed. He did not expect his words to be heard by the man.

"Sorry ...," Alya regretted as she lowered her gaze.

"Aura calls you Bubu because she thinks of you as her mother. Do you want to disappoint him by still positioning yourself as limited as you said earlier?"

Alya could catch the disappointment in the tone of the sentence that Ardi said. He did not intend to do so either. He just felt he wasn't ready and didn't deserve that call yet.

"I didn't mean it, Di. I'm just .. I'm just afraid I can't be who you want me to be. I'm afraid I can't live up to your expectations of me."

Alya lowered her head and hid the puddles of tears that were ready to shed wet her face. But unfortunately Ardi already knew it. The man let out a long sigh and tried to hold back his feelings.

"Aura calls you that because she feels comfortable being with you. He felt that someone loved him besides me. Don't you feel that innocence?"

Alya nodded and confirmed Ardi's words. He has no doubt about it at all. Neither the affection of Aura nor the love that Ardi showed him.

"Look at me, Alya. Let's get this all over with now. I want to ...."
