Slowly both eyes of the Flower woke up and began to try to recognize the surroundings. With a glare she saw her husband who soon came to approach in a place where he usually faithfully awaits.
Ardi kissed the Flower's forehead and clasped his hands with a forced smile. The meek woman turned to the other side and saw Nara and Yoga standing side by side.
"Mbak Nara .., Pak Yoga ...."
The two simultaneously smiled and nodded, then Nara lowered her face near the face of Bunga.
"Don't say much first. Rest well," said Nara, touching Bunga's hand and wiping it.
"Sir, I'll take Aura. Later, often look at him with Raga."
Nara was surprised by the sentence that the Flower said to her, as if it was a sign of something.
"Think about yourself first. Think of your recovery."
Flowers kept smiling regardless of Nara's words.
"I wish our children could be together until they grow up."
Ardi who was originally silent and only noticed the conversation of Flowers and Nara began to react when the words of Flowers began to whistle everywhere.
"Darling, don't mind much. Calm yourself." Ardi kissed his wife on the forehead again, while Nara put her face away and went back straight next to Yoga who then grabbed her and clasped her shoulders.
"Mas, I want to talk to you alone. My time may not be long."
Hearing the words of Bunga, Yoga immediately took his wife out after saying goodbye to Ardi. They gave the couple time to be together and alone.
After the two guests came out, Ardi helped Bunga who wanted to sit down. He pressed a button next to the bed to raise his head.
After feeling comfortable and feeling calmer in his seat, Ardi sat down on the edge of the bed while continuing to tightly grip his wife's right hand that already looks very pale, just like her face.
"Mas, I want to meet Aura. Please tell the doctor to let it go."
It was the umpteenth time that Bunga asked for this. If before Ardi had only met them through a video call, this time with the permission of the doctor this morning, he had asked his parents to bring Aura to see Bunga.
"In a moment our daughter will come. Papa and Mama are already on their way here."
Ardi's reply made the Flower smile happily. He will soon meet his little daughter whom he has not been able to meet in person for a long time.
"Thank you, Mum." The flower clasped tightly onto the hand of her husband who was looking at her with a glare.
"Mas, don't worry about Aura if I'm gone. There will be a new mother for her who loves and loves her just like me. Trust me."
Ardi stared more intently at the Flower. He did not like the direction of their conversation this time.
"Nobody's better than you, because you're his mother. Therefore, fight to stay with us, dear."
The flower shook weakly helplessly. He could already feel that the time would not be long.
"If I could, I would have done it to stay with you and Aura, Mas. But we can't deny the reality. Not even all doctors can do anything else."
Ardi lowered his head and hid the dripping clear grains without being able to prevent it anymore. He knew that, he knew how the doctor had put in so much effort and in the end could only leave everything to the destiny of the Almighty.
"Mas, please grant this last request. Come back with Doctor Alya. She's the only woman I've chosen and I trust to be by your side."
Ardi seemed to dislike the long sentences spoken by his wife. His face turned red and shone with stifled anger.
The flower smiled faintly even though his heart was in pain. But for me, the pain is no longer worth it and nothing compared to the pain and heartache felt and experienced by Alya so far.
He recalled his conversation with an old friend he met at the hospital where Yoga used to be treated, which is also Alya's place of duty.
From his old friend, he knew all about Alya that not many others knew. About her marriage, about the problems in her household, about all the bad things Alya had experienced during her marriage.
Alya never admitted it and always hid her personal story from others. But some people who know him everyday can still find out the sad story that is kept tight by the graceful hijab doctor.
Many doctors and employees praised the personality of the accomplished doctor, including an old friend of Alya who told me all about Alya that some people had secretly known.
In the midst of her domestic turmoil that led to separation, Alya always maintained her attitude and showed her position as a dignified woman and never revealed the bitter story of her life.
His kind and friendly attitude always captivated anyone who knew him. The entire hospital community always respects and appreciates the choice of his attitude that wants to close his personal problems.
Other people around him only know Alya as a reliable and accomplished obstetrician who became one of the doctors pride of the hospital where he served.
The flower, who previously knew nothing of the truth about Alya's life, begins to change her mind and find out more about Alya.
Through her friend who works as a nurse at the same hospital as Alya's place of duty, she, Flowers began to gather a lot of information about Alya's private life that was indeed hidden and never discussed by the people around him.
Bunga also knows about Alya's proximity to Rendy which is also a concern for doctors and employees at the hospital.
From her friend's story, Bunga learns the fact that only Rendy harbors pent-up feelings for Alya, but not the other way around. Alya only considered him a good friend, from the past until now.
From the many stories known by Bunga now, the woman can conclude that in fact Alya still harbors her old feelings for her husband Ardi.
But in order to maintain the wholeness and happiness of the Ardi and Bunga household, Alya chose to keep all her feelings in the heart.
Even for the sake of Ardi's happiness, Alya was willing to do many things to eliminate Ardi's sadness. Including among them helped the birth process of Aura which was quite dramatic at that time.
Not only that, Alya had secretly donated a lot of blood to save the life of the Flower who was bleeding heavily after giving birth to her little daughter.
If not for the sincerity of love, it felt impossible that Alya would have done all that with a light heart and put all her feelings aside, just for the sake of the happiness of the Ardi family.
Given all that, Bunga no longer has any doubt to decide the choice he just presented to his beloved husband.
"It's only Doctor Alya that I allow to be your wife and mother to Aura."
