LOVE NARA

LOVE NARA
2.23. FOR FREEDOM

"Your debt is still not paid off. Remember that! So don't you dare mess with me or I'll torture you again like I used to."

A man was counting the amount of money his ex-wife had just given him.

If it was not beneficial to him then he would not be willing to release the woman from his grasp. Although he does not love her, but he can still take advantage of the woman by extorting the income he has.

"I don't have anything anymore. My parents' house is even yours and you're mortgaging it. Is that still not enough?" ask the woman bravely even though she knows in the end she too will be resigned in defeat.

Www ...!!!

A loud slap landed on the cheek of the poor woman. The slap I don't know how many times she got from her threatening ex-husband.

"For everything my parents did to your family might have been enough. But it will never be enough to replace your humiliation that always rejects me and chooses to part from me."

Again the woman could only cry lamenting the fate of her life. Just for the sake of the freedom he asked for, he had to be willing to exchange it for the fruits of his hard work every month that the man always deprived him of.

"Until when? How long are you gonna blackmail me like this?" The woman began to sniffle. Although he was used to it, still the treatment of the man always incised new pain in his heart while the old wounds were still gaping and painful.

"Until I feel satisfied and don't need you anymore. But it seems like it will never happen. Hahahaa ...!!!"

The man kept the money he had just counted and walked towards the door of his ex-wife's house. Before it actually passed, he stopped and turned his head back.

"Remember! There's no point in you reporting me to anyone, not even the authorities. No one's gonna believe your prank."

"And one more thing, this is both of our personal business. If anyone else finds out, then I'll do something bad to both of your parents in the village!"

The man finally left, driving forward a car in which had sat an open-looking and maximal woman who was none other than his old lover who was now his wife.

Inside the simple rented house, the woman in her appearance still held her pale, flushed face on one of her cheeks. The former slap of the man was still painful and made his head dizzy.

Immediately the front door was closed and he went to his room and laid down to rest.

Every month for three years, it always happens. Her ex-husband comes and takes some of her money in return for the freedom she asks him to escape the shackles of a loveless marriage full of violence and betrayal.

If only she could, she would have long been on the legal track to report the abuse and extortion perpetrated by her ex-husband.

But whatever the power, the cunning man used his parents there to scare him, so that he would do all the man's wishes.

For the safety of her elderly parents and a simple life in her hometown, the woman still survives by obeying all the wishes of her ex-husband.

He also did not dare to report all the bad treatment of the man to the authorities, because he was still thinking about the feelings of the two old men who were none other than his former in-laws.

The poor woman always keep their feelings, because they have been very meritorious to her family, especially her who managed to realize her ideals with the help of her former in-laws who are good friends of both parents.

She covered everything from the whole family and everyone else to keep the good name of her ex-husband's family, also for the sake of the happiness of her own family who only knew that she had lived happily with her husband in another city where they settled now.

In another house, a husband and wife are overwhelmed with happiness because the wife's pregnancy has grown.

Two more months the wife will soon give birth and their home will be enlivened by the cry of the baby they have been waiting for with impatience.

"Darling, this is eat first. Then take the medicine."

"Thank you, Mum. You don't eat, Mum?" asked Bunga who saw her husband sitting beside her.

Occasionally he took part in feeding Bunga and then again stared at his work screen filled with patient data and their respective birth schedules.

"I ate in the dining room earlier, dear," replied Ardi without distracting him from the brightly lit screen on his lap.

Bunga kept silent and continued his dinner without wanting to interrupt the work of her husband, who, despite being at home, continued to finish his work tirelessly.

"Here you go, my mom." The flower placed an empty plate on the table then grabbed the white water glass next to it.

Yoga quickly helped to take medicine and vitamins for his wife who was immediately swallowed by Flowers with the help of a glass of water.

"Thank you." Flowers smiled then kissed her husband's cheek, making Ardi return her smile.

Closed and he put the laptop next to his body, then he close his seat docked to the body of the wife.

"You're sleepy? Come on, I'll sleep." Ardi was about to lift up his wife's body but was restrained by Bunga.

"Let's be a minute, Mommy. I just ate."

Ardi smiled and nodded. The wife's head was pulled down on her chest. She kissed the top of her head, then constantly stroked her hair with a gentle and repetitive touch.

"As per our agreement first, because our child candidate is female, then you will give him a name."

Flowers nod in her husband's arms. He had prepared the best name for the baby but kept it hidden until the time came for the birth of the baby.

"I've decided on her name, but I'll tell you later after I give birth to her, Mas."

"Yes, Honey. From now on, prepare yourself. You must move and walk more often in order to give birth normally as you see fit."

Flowers began to stumble in the warm embrace of her husband. Her eyes began to close perfectly even though her ears could still hear all the words of her husband.

"I love you so much, Mom. May our families always be united by God's blessing until we age together surrounded by our grandchildren."

The subconscious of Flowers began to rule his mind which had wandered out of nowhere.

"However, if one day fate must separate us both, rest assured that I will always be faithful to accompany you, though no longer seen and touched by you ...."
