LOVE NARA
2.80. INCREDIBLE MOMENT

By noon, Alya had already finished her morning practice in the hospital. After two days of resting at home, today he had started his duty back as usual.

The doctor was ready to go to the clinic. After tidying up the file on the table, he took his bag and cell phone and placed it on his lap.

Moving the wheelchair she was still using, the woman exited her room and headed for the elevator to get down to the ground floor where the driver was waiting for her.

"We're going straight to the clinic, ma'am?" ask the driver after they were in the car.

"Yes, Sir. I want to rest there while waiting for practice time later." replied Alya kindly from the back seat.

The car began to move out of the hospital area and drove through the crowds of the highway.

Just ten minutes away, suddenly the car suddenly took off and a small eruption was heard. Luckily the driver was quite shrewd and did not panic so he could still control the car.

"What's up, sir?" Alya who was surprised had stumbled on the car glass beside her seat.

"It looks like one of the rear tires is leaking, ma'am," replied Mr. Driver while looking for an empty spot on the side of the road to stop the car and check it first.

Getting a shade on the road that is not too crowded, the car stopped and the driver immediately went out and checked the condition of the leaking tire.

It turned out that the leaking tire was on the back of the left, right behind Alya's seat, so that earlier he felt a pretty loud shock.

Replacement tires are available in the trunk but will take a short time to replace them.

"It's okay, sir. Focus on taking care of the car. I can continue the journey by taxi online."

When Alya was just about to open an online transportation application, a car stopped right in front of the car he was riding. From inside the car, the graceful hijab-wearing woman noticed him.

A well-built and fit man came out of the steering door and walked over to Mr. Driver who would pick up the key that was still in place in the car.

"Rendy ...." Alya said softly when he recognized the driver of the car.

The bone doctor spoke to the driver of Alya's car. Then he walked around the car and stood right outside the left back door, where Alya was sitting inside.

Rendy tapped the windshield so that inevitably Alya also immediately lowered the glass.

The man smiled gently as usual, making Alya feel wrong because of the position of their faces are close together because from outside Rendy bent and lowered her face until it was clearly visible in front of Alya.

"Al, come on, I'll take you to the clinic."

Alya immediately shook her head with a nervous face. He turned his gaze the other way to avoid the man's shady gaze.

"Thank you for your offer, Ren. But I can go by myself in an online taxi," Alya subtly refused, not intending to offend the bone doctor with her refusal.

"Don't turn me down this time, Al. I really just wanted to get you to the clinic sooner."

Alya worried. His little heart was still in revolt, wanting to keep his distance from Rendy so as not to cause misunderstandings.

The driver opened the trunk and spoke from behind.

"Mom should go with Mr. Rendy. I would feel calmer if Mom was delivered by him than booked a taxi and still have to wait a long time."

Alya's stance is getting shaky. He also felt hesitant if he had to refuse help from his good friend, while his condition was currently in an impediment in the middle of the trip.

"You believe me, don't you?" The sound of the man's voice made Alya even more unbearable to refuse his offer of kindness this time.

Finally with a heart that was not yet fully airy, Alya nodded her head and glanced at Rendy who was still waiting with a position that had not changed since earlier.

"I'll come with you" Alya said softly without looking back at the man's relieved and happy face.

"alright. I'll move your wheelchair first into the trunk of my car. Wait a minute."

Quickly the man headed to the back, taking Alya's wheelchair from the still open trunk.

Reinserting the phone into the bag, Alya draped her long strap over her right shoulder and set her wand in her left hand.

Rendy came and opened the door for Alya. Independently the woman immediately lowered her staff followed by two legs that stood upright supporting her body, with the help of one support stick.

Alya shifted so that Rendy could close the car door again. After saying goodbye to Mr. Driver, the two walked together towards Rendy's car.

The soft-smiling doctor opened the front door on the left and let Alya in.

"Be careful, Al." One hand keeps it over Alya's head to protect her from getting hit by the roof of the car.

"Thank you." Alya secured her seat and kept the support stick beside her.

Not wanting to waste time, Rendy closed the passenger door and immediately circled the front of the car and entered and sat behind the wheel.

While turning on the engine of his car, Rendy glanced at the face of the graceful hijab woman next to him and then smiled at Alya, then he started driving his car towards the clinic run by his good friend.

Silence was created in the first minutes of their journey. Alya continued to stare out the window, while Rendy was still focused on the wheel.

"Have you had lunch, Al?" rendy asked finally, breaking the silence in the car.

Alya just shook her head in response.

"Your afternoon medicine you haven't been drinking?"

The woman nodded again. "I used to have lunch at the clinic, taking a break waiting for my practice time to arrive."

Rendy didn't ask anymore. But it was Alya who opened the question without turning her head towards her interlocutor.

"You've also just finished practicing. Must not have been lunch either, right?"

Rendy smiled and nodded.

"Yes, Al. I usually have lunch on my way home like this. But for now, I dare not invite you to accompany me, because I know for a fact that you will reject him."

Alya felt bad and was insinuated by Rendy's words. He confirmed the man's statement about his attitude. He refused and avoided whenever Rendy offered him a meal or a coffee together in the hospital cafeteria.

"I'm sorry, if I always let you down" said Alya softly with a bow and hide his face.

Rendy turned her gaze to the side, as the car stopped as the traffic light flashed red.

"Don't feel guilty, Al. I can understand and I respect your attitude and your decisions."

Rendy took advantage of the time to linger staring at the face of the lady ayu beside her. It was still unexpected that he finally got the chance to be together with the woman this close.

"Thank you for this incredible moment, Al. I will keep these memories of our togetherness in my heart."
